  • With recent advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) technology, more products based on AI are being launched and used. However, using AI safely requires an awareness of the potential risks it can pose. These concerns must be evaluated by experts and users must be informed of the results. In response to this need, many countries have implemented certification programs for products based on AI. In this study, we analyze several trends and differences in AI product certification programs across several countries and emphasize the importance of such programs in ensuring the safety and trustworthiness of products that include AI. To this end, we examine four international AI product certification programs and suggest methods for improving and promoting these programs. The certification programs target AI products produced for specific purposes such as autonomous intelligence systems and facial recognition technology, or extend a conventional software quality certification based on the ISO/IEC 25000 standard. The results of our analysis show that companies aim to strategically differentiate their products in the market by ensuring the quality and trustworthiness of AI technologies. Additionally, we propose methods to improve and promote the certification programs based on the results. These findings provide new knowledge and insights that contribute to the development of AI-based product certification programs.

  • Based on the accumulation of medical big data, advances in medical artificial intelligence technology facilitate the timely treatment of disease through the reading the medical images and the increase of prediction speed and accuracy of diagnoses. In addition, these advances are expected to spark significant innovations in reducing medical costs and improving care quality. There are already approximately 40 FDA approved products in the US, and more than 10 products with K-FDA approval in Korea. Medical applications and services based on artificial intelligence are expected to spread rapidly in the future. Furthermore, the evolution of medical artificial intelligence technology is expanding the boundaries or limits of various related issues such as reference standards and specifications, ethical and clinical validation issues, and the harmonization of international regulatory systems.

  • The purpose of this study is to clarify the continuous usage intention of artificial intelligence products and services. In this study, we try to define the artificial intelligence quality and preference on the online job information platform and investigate the effect of artificial intelligence on continues usage intention. A survey of artificial intelligence users was conducted and recalled 184. The empirical analysis shows that the artificial intelligence quality and preference have a positive effect on satisfaction, and that the satisfaction has significant effect on the intention of continuing use. but the artificial intelligence quality does not significantly affect the intention of continuing use. These results are expected to provide useful guidelines for artificial intelligence technology products or services in the future.

  • In this study, I researched whether consumers would adopt artificial intelligence speakers. A study was conducted on the motivations that arise when consumers want to use artificial intelligence speakers. Key motivational factors include needs and wants, and emotion is also included in the hypothesis as influencing the intended use. These factors have modeled the motivational process in which consumers want to use artificial intelligence speakers. In the empirical study, the survey was conducted and the survey data was analyzed by applying the method of analysis of the structural equation model. As a result of empirical research, consumers' expectations to meet their general needs for artificial intelligence speakers affected their expectations to meet their wants and their favorable perceptions. And consumers' expectations of meeting their quasi-desire for artificial intelligence speakers have affected their expectations of meeting the wants and affected their perception of favorability. Finally, consumers' expectations for satisfying their wants and their perception of favorability affected their intention to use artificial intelligence speakers. The implications of this study is that it helps to formulate strategies for information technology products with combined functionality. The specific components of motivation can play an important role in increasing consumers' intention to use artificial intelligence speakers.

  • Small and medium-sized Korean companies are currently changing their industrial structure faster than in the past due to various environmental factors (such as securing competitiveness and developing excellent products). In particular, the importance of collecting and utilizing data produced in smart factory environments is increasing as diverse devices related to artificial intelligence are put into manufacturing sites. This paper proposes an artificial intelligence-based smart factory model to improve the process of products produced at the manufacturing site with the recent smart factory. The proposed model aims to ensure the increasingly competitive manufacturing environment and minimize production costs. The proposed model is managed by considering not only information on products produced at the site of smart factory based on artificial intelligence, but also labour force consumed in the production of products, working hours and operating plant machinery. In addition, data produced in the proposed model can be linked with similar companies and share information, enabling strategic cooperation between enterprises in manufacturing site operations.

  • "In the future, 80% of doctors will be replaced by advanced technology." It has been talked about for a long time. When I first heard this story, people said it was ridiculous. But now that AlphaGo has won the Go match against Lee Se-dol, and many global companies have come up with a variety of services and products based on artificial intelligence, the story has become no more than ridiculous. In other words, it is beginning to come true. Artificial intelligence technology is already widely used in manufacturing and service industries. This spread of artificial intelligence is sure to usher in an era of great change in our future. And it is safe to say that it is the "medical world" where the biggest changes will be made. So how on earth does artificial intelligence replace medical personnel? If replaced, where would you stand out? In order to understand this, we must first be familiar with deep learning, which is the basis of medical artificial intelligence. And as the fourth industrial revolution gradually approaches reality, various occupational groups are becoming meaningless, as in the preceding industrial revolution, and in this paper we will learn about the impact of this situation on the medical community.

  • Cars have become a necessity in modern life. It is widely used to transport people or products to a destination conveniently. However, the addition of a navigation service that provides route information and more makes driving more convenient and safer. Recent developments in the mobile app ecosystem encourages people to adopt not only an installation-type car navigation, but also a mobile app navigation, supporting connected car concepts. It should be noted that mobile apps with mobile Internet can be a significant linkage between information acquired online and offline business. This study demonstrates the impact of the app use experience for a driver in the context of applying artificial intelligence service. As a result, the introduction of artificial intelligence services has a statistically significant moderating effect on the use of mobile navigation apps. This seminal research is valuable as it evaluates the role of artificial intelligence applied to mobile navigation apps.

  • The purpose of this study was to verify the impact of cognitive and emotional factors on artificial intelligence speakers on the intention of using artificial intelligence speakers. The method for this study was online surveys of people with physical disability. The recognition and necessity of artificial intelligence speakers were also identified, the perceived intimacy, joy, and intention to use them, and a multiple linear regression analysis was conducted to check the influence of each variable on the intention of the disabled to use artificial intelligence speakers. This study have shown that the perceived enjoyment of AI speakers in people with disabilities has shown a significant static effect on their intended use. However, the recognition and necessity of artificial intelligence speakers of the physically handicapped, as well as the perceived intimacy, do not have a statistically significant impact on the intention of using artificial intelligence speakers, according to the analysis. The results of this study suggest that it is necessary to strengthen the elements of enjoyment in order to improve the intention of the disabled to use artificial intelligence speakers, and it is meaningful in that it provides basic data to develop artificial intelligence products and customized services for people with disabilities.

  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has already penetrated deeply into our daily lives, and we live with the convenience of it anytime, anywhere, and sometimes even without us noticing it. However, because AI is imitative intelligence based on human Intelligence, it inevitably has both good and evil sides of humans, which is why ethical principles are essential. The starting point of this study is the AI principles for companies or organizations to develop products. Since the late 2010s, studies on ethics and principles of AI have been actively published. This study focused on AI principles declared by global companies currently developing various products through AI technology. So, we surveyed the AI principles of the Global 500 companies by market capitalization at a given specific time and collected the AI principles explicitly declared by 46 of them. AI analysis technology primarily analyzed this text data, especially LDA (Latent Dirichlet Allocation) topic modeling, which belongs to Machine Learning (ML) analysis technology. Then, we conducted a Delphi technique to reach a meaningful consensus by presenting the primary analysis results. We expect to provide meaningful guidelines in AI-related government policy establishment, corporate ethics declarations, and academic research, where debates on AI ethics and principles often occur recently based on the results of our study.
