This study is a descriptive survey study intended to analyze the relationship between multicultural acceptability, empathy, and global citizenship of nursing students and identify the factors influencing global citizenship. The data was collected targeting 187 nursing students at universities located in the cities of B, U, and S. The collected data was analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The results were as follows: global citizenship of nursing students was positively correlated with multicultural acceptability and empathy. Factors influencing the level of global citizenship were empathy, multicultural acceptability, which together explained 40.0% of the total variance in global citizenship. Consequently, this study raises the need for the development and application of steady practical programs and various learning methods for the enhancement of global citizenship, which is required in the fields of nursing education where global competence is considered to be important.

The purpose of this study is to compare stress, empathy, and communication in stress coping group and non-coping group. The data collected using questionnaires from nursing students. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, and Pearson correlation with SPSS 23.0 version. Significantly lower scores for stress (mean, 2.42 vs. 2.97; p=.000), and higher scores for communication (mean 3.33 vs. 3.21; p=.008) were observed in the stress coping group compared with the non-coping group. Further studies need to development and application a program that enhances subjective stress coping methods.

Currently, convenience stores, which are naturally located within a 1-minute walk, are easily accessible, so customers can easily purchase the items they need, and now they are indispensable places for people. In line with modern society that focuses on buying and selling goods quickly and easily, such as 'convenience' and 'quickness', convenience stores also have been changing by marketing such as home-delivery service and storage of fresh products, not just simply selling goods. In addition, by utilizing application software, we can use everything with one smartphone that we use a lot, in order to provide reservation delivery, pickup, and subscription services. In this study, we conducted experiments focusing on the factors of convenience store service quality and users using convenience stores, and examined how these experiments affect behavioral intentions of customers through their emotional responses. As a result, it was confirmed that empathy had a positive (+) effect on the pleasure of customers, and reliability had a negative (-) effect on arousal. In addition, it was found that empathy had a positive (+) effect on arousal, and responsiveness and empathy had a positive (+) effect on dominance. Finally, it was found that pleasure and dominance had a positive (+) effect on the loyalty of customers. In this study, we intend to provide basic data on existing or future convenience stores.

The purpose of the study is to verify the effectiveness the Preliminary Health Administrators(PHA)' Empathy Ability(EA) through the application of Medical Service Design Thinking(MSDT) conducted by undergraduate school of Intrapreneurship education. The pre-post questionnaire survey was conducted on 41 students in the second year of the Department of Health Administration after applying MSDT for 15 weeks from March to June, 2018 at a college in Daegu. The main results are as follows. MSDT was positive influenced on the improvement of Empathic Imagine, Empathic awakening of the PHA' EA. Especially, male student or aged 20-25, it was effective on the improvement of Empathic Imagine and Empathic awakening of the participants. Further research is needed on the development of MSDT programs for each grade to improve the empathy of PHA.

In this research, Collectivism's influence on Singaporean employee's volunteerism in Multinational Enterprise (MNE) was investigated with an individual empathy mediating. Most research on Hofstede's cultural dimensions were examined at national levels. However, in this study, Yoo's Cultural value Scale (CVSCALE) was used to analyze collectivistic tendencies at individual levels and its influence on volunteerism. A total of 200 self-administering online surveys was distributed to MNE employees in Singapore for three weeks period. 180 usable surveys were collected and analyzed with SPSS 21.0. Research outcomes indicated collectivism positively influenced volunteerism in Singaporeans with empathy as possible antecedent of volunteerism. In conclusion and application, the significance of this research lies in indicating collectivism's positive impact on volunteerism and empathy as possible antecedents of volunteerism in Singaporeans even though Singapore has exhibited stronger individualism and often defined as one of the most westernized country in the Asian continent. Also findings suggest further developing emotional education to increase both individual and group level performance.

This study is a systematic review study to confirm the characteristics, effects, and application strategies of domestic and foreign virtual reality programs provided by dementia education. This study is based on the literature published up to July 2020, CINAHL, Cochrane, EMBASE, and Pubmed electronic databases were used overseas, and RISS, KISS, and DBpia were searched in Korea. Based on the selection criteria and exclusion criteria, the final six papers were used for analysis. As a result of the analysis, the subjects of the selected literature were two informal caregivers (33.3%), one general (16.7%), and three students (50.0%) including nursing students and medical and pharmacy students. The virtual reality program was effective in a total of five areas(empathy ability, dementia attitude including knowledge and comfort of dementia, trust in own abilities, dyadic relationship scale), of which 75% of the studies measured empathy ability had significant effects. The results of this study confirm that virtual reality technology can be used for human-centered nursing based on empathy.

A total of 220 self-administering online surveys were distributed to IT MNE employees in Tokyo, Japan for three weeks period. 160 usable surveys were collected and analyzed with SPSS 21.0. Findings indicate collectivism positively influenced volunteerism in individuals with empathy as possible antecent of volunteerism. In conclusion and application, the significance of this research lies in indicating collectivism's positive influence on volunteerism and empathy as possible antecedents of volunteerism in Japanese employees even though Japan has displayed stronger individualism than the rest of East Asian neighbors.

Purpose: This is a descriptive survey study for identifying the factors affecting the communication skills of nursing students in the current situation where non-face-to-face culture becomes commonplace due to the COVID-19. Methods: The data was collected from June 1-30, 2022, targeting total 160 nursing students(3rd/4th year) of three universities in Daejeon and Chungnam. Using the IBM SPSS/Win 25.0, the collected data was analyzed through the descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression analysis. Results: In the results, the communication skills showed positive correlations with the acceptance of others (r=.32, p<.001), positive emotions in friendship (r=.44, p<.001), and empathy (r=.38, p<.001), and these variables explained total 32.0% of communication skills. Conclusion: Based on such results, it would be necessary to develop various extracurricular programs and also to establish the application measures for maintaining positive friendships and enhancing empathy.

This study examined the effectiveness of the Filial Therapy program for children with Separation Anxiety Disorder (SAD). Subjects were 8 mother-child dyads each in the experimental and comparison groups. Mann-Whitney U-test and the Wilcoxon Matched-Pairs Signed-Ranks Test were performed following the therapeutic program. After application of the Filial Therapy program, results showed that, compared to the control group, (1) parents of SAD children in the experimental group significantly increased their level of empathic interactions with their children. AND (2) the experimental group children significantly reduced level of somatic complaints, anxious/depressed, and social problems. Conclusions were that Filial Therapy is an effective program for improvement of parent-child relationship of SAD children but not for changing problem behavior of SAD children.

Recently youth problems such as school violence and bullying are becoming increasingly lower age. In order to overcome this situation highlights the importance of education and the emotions, which in analyzing the existing mobile app, only the most fun-oriented approach has been made and the information presented. It focuses on the emotion awareness and empathy abilities of learners diagnosis, training, application can be made at the level of educational mobile app prototype was developed. First, self-understanding, self-expression, others-understanding, and empathy of emotional competency derived from review of emotional awareness skills training programs. Second, by analyzing the existing emotion recognition app macro-principles and micro-strategy of mobile app's designs were derived. Third, accordi was conducted on prototype of storyboard and app the completed prototype was completed. The proposed app is a fun and learning by doing, also Depending on students' level of performance can be customized. The proposed mobile app is efficient and effective, engaging learning space as a systematic training in the diagnosis and the emotions through the elementary students will be able to improve emotional awaeness competency.
