  • Objective : The purpose of this study was to analyze the correlation between physical factors (X-factor, X-factor stretch) and club factors (club speed, ball speed, club path, smash factor, vertical launch angle, spin rate, flight time, total length) during impact and it affect on the total distance of the ball during a golf driver swing. Background : There were not enough studies that analyzed the correlation between physical factors(X-factor, X-factor stretch) and club factors(club speed, ball speed, club path, smash factor, launch angle, spin rate, flight time, total length) during a purpose swing to increase total distance. Method : For this study, 9 right handed professional male golfers (KPGA) were chosen. The test subject group used their own drivers and each took a total of 10 swings. These swings consisted of 5 purpose swings to increase total distance and 5 normal swings. Results : The purpose swing to increase total distance showed larger physical factors(X-factor, X-factor stretch) compared to a normal swing however the results were not statistically significant. Total distance increased during a purpose swing as a result of ball and club speed. Conclusion : The results showed that club factors, ball speed and club speed contributed the most in affecting the total distance of the ball during a purpose swing.

  • The purpose of this study is to closely examine the factors affecting the organizational commitment of Public librarians. To do this, I have classified the factors related to organizational commitment into personal circumstantial factor. role factor, job factor, and organizational climate : and tried to explain the difference in organizational commitment according to each specific factor and which factor most heavily affected the organizational commitment. To do this I have conducted document studies and surveys. As the result of the study I have analyzed that the job factor effect the organizational commitment of public librarians the most among the four factors; personal circumstantial factor, role factor, job factor. and organizational climate. In succession. organizational climate, personal circumstantial factor was next in line. And the role factor was analyzed as the factor that least affected the organizational commitment of public librarians.

  • The Mechanical properties of steel in hot strip mill were associated with the alloy composition, plastic deformation, cooling history and so on. In the case of the same alloy composition and deformation conditions, cooling history on ROT (run out table) is the main factor in affecting mechanical properties of steel, especially, in carbon steel. On ROT, the steel undergoes under various kinds of cooling conditions such as radiation, convection by air, water and wetting zone. The coiling temperature (CT) of the steel is also important factor in affecting mechanical properties. But with the same CT, the mechanical properties of steel can be different because the temperature history of cooling is more important factor than CT itself. In this study, we have studied the relations between temperature history and mechanical properties of steel and then the predicted mechanical properties have compared with the measured values.

  • A model analysis of pattern shift in the epitaxial growth of silicon on (111) substrates was performed. The growth rate anisotropy was considered as the most important affecting factor of pattern shift, and for the model establishment the off angle of the substrate and the process temperature were taken as the variables. We derived a theoretical equation of pattern shift by assuming the growth rate anisotropy as the trigonometric sine function of the off angle of the substrate and defining the growth rate anisotropy factor related to the process temperature. The pattern shift ratio calculated by this model had the same tendency with the experimental ones, which, however, were about twice greater than those. It was supposed that this discrepailcy was due to the second order affecting factor such as facetting and step broadening which had been exluded in model establishment.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify important factors influencing fragrance sensibility responses as well as to explore fragrance sensibility factors affecting attitude toward and buying intention of perfume products. For data collection, smelling experiments were conducted with seven groups of 34 female consumers who are aged from the 20's to 40's. Data were analyzed by ANOVA, t-test, factor analysis, and linear regression analysis. In results, five factors (pleasant, romantic, stimulating, modem, familiar factors) were generated from the factor analysis of 24 fragrance sensibility factors. These fragrance sensibility factors significantly affected both attitude toward and buying intention of perfume products. Pleasant, romantic and familiar factors were considered as important factors affecting attitude and buying intention while the stimulating factor affected only buying intention. Fragrance sensibility factors influencing attitude and buying intention of perfume products differed in terms of age and purchase level of consumers.

  • In this paper, we suggest a localization method of factors affecting the accuracy of Air-to-Ground weapon delivery. The proposed method, called FBEL(Factor-Based Error Localization), is based on the fault localization technique widely utilized in the realm of software engineering field. FBEL localizes the major factors affecting the performance of weapon delivery. To analyze the effectiveness and the applicability of FBEL, we applied FBEL to real firing data and got the major factors caused the errors. We expect that the method could contribute to improve the quality of weapon delivery system. We also expect that it may aid improvement of pilot capability greatly, if it is applied to pilot firing training.

  • North Korea has been in ecologically deficit state since 1966, despite of lack of energy and food resources. Trends of the Biocapacity (BC), the Ecological Footprint (EF), and the Ecological Deficit (ED) of North Korea were shown and five factors influencing on the Overshoot Rate (OSR) which is the ratio of the BC and the EF in North Korea was analyzed in this study. The five factors consist of two factors affecting to the EF and three factors affecting to the BC in North Korea. Two of the five factors are affecting to the EF those are population, the EF per capita (EFPC) which indicates the individual environmental consumption intensity, and three are affecting to the BC those are the land area, the yield factor, and the value multiplying the equivalence factor and the intertemporal yield factor. The EF has contributed more than the BC to the OSR. From 1966 to mid-1990s, the EFPC was the most contributing factor at about 60%, and after mid-1990s, population at about 40~60%. Contribution ratio of land area and the yield factor have increased after mid-1990s up to 15% and 18%, respectively. The BC of cropland which has decreased due to a decrease in productivity. In order to reduce the ED of North Korea, improvement of productivity of cropland and restoration of forest. Forest area has decreased significantly since 1990 in NK. And ways to solve the food shortage problem which influences on decrease of both productivity of cropland and forest area.
