  • One of the most significant tasks of software development project is to know how much it will be the software development cost in the early stage of software development cycle. The software development environment and technology are changing very rapidly. For accuracy, we should apply those to the software cost estimation. And it is important that we select the suitable adjustment factor and the value of a suitable adjustment factor. For that, this paper have applied the method of AHP. And we have also analyzed the sensitivity of the adjustment factor which is influenced by decision metrics. In conclusion, the value of the application type adjustment factor is responded more sensitively to the data complexity and the control complexity than processing complexity. And the value of the language adjustment factor is responded more sensitively to the supplying manpower and the time of the coding than the time of the debugging. In the future, we will research the selection of an additional adjustment factor and a suitable value of the adjustment factor which are influenced by the environment and the technology of the domestic software development. And then, in the language adjustment factor, we will try to calculate the value about the individual programming language.

A Study on the Mediation Effects of Academic Stress on College Students' Social Supports and College Adjustment (보건·복지계열대학생의 사회적 지지와 대학생활적응과의 관계에서 학업스트레스의 매개효과)

  • This study is aim to examine the influence of the social supports factor of the college students who majors in health or social welfare on their college adjustment and whether or not academic stress would perform a mediating role in the relationship between social supports factor and college adjustment. The subjects in this study were the college students who majored in health or social welfare in Gyeongsang Namdo Province. Data were collected through self reported structured questionnaire form using convenient sampling methods. The findings of the study were as follows: First, the social supports factor and academic stress factor of the college students were found to have exerted a statistically significant influence on college adjustment. Second, the academic stress factor was found to have had partial mediating effects on the relationship between the social supports factor and college adjustment. The findings of the study illustrated that the academic stress factor played a buffering role in the social supports factor that affected the college adjustment of the college students.

Estimating Annual Average Daily Traffic Using Hourly Traffic Pattern and Grouping in National Highway (일반국도 그룹핑과 시간 교통량 추이를 이용한 연평균 일교통량 추정)

  • This study shows how to estimate AADT(Annual Average Daily Traffic) on temporary count data using new grouping method. This study deals with clustering permanent traffic counts using monthly adjustment factor, daily adjustment factor and a percentage of hourly volume. This study uses a percentage of hourly volume comparing with other studies. Cluster analysis is used and 5 groups is suitable. First, make average of monthly adjustment factor, average of daily adjustment factor, a percentage of hourly volume for each group. Next estimate AADT using 24 hour volume(not holiday) and two adjustment factors. Goodness of fit test is used to find what groups are applicable. MAPE(Mean Absolute Percentage Error) is 8.7% in this method. It is under 1.5% comparing with other method(using adjustment factors in same section). This method is better than other studies because it can apply all temporary counts data.

Analysis on Time Dependent Traffic Volume Characteristics on Highways linked to Recreation Areas (관광지 종류별 일반국도 교통량의 시간별 특성 연구)

  • The variation in the traffic volume on any given roads is the reflection of its user's economic activities and life patterns. And traffic volume flows in every hour usually take different charateristics depending on the location and the function of the roads. This study produced the Monthly Adjustment Factor, Weekly Adjustment Factor and Design hourly Factor, each of which is the index indicating the traffic volume charaterirstics on the highways leading to the recreation areas in the mountainous and seaside tourist sites. Applying these results, it might be possible to calculate the optimal AADT (Annual Average Daily Traffic) and DHV (Design Hour Volume), also be a help to establish a traffic management policy. Finally, it hopes to promote new version of KHCM (Korea Highway Capacity Manual) which includes traffic volume characteristics on recreation areas.

Comparison Actual Conversion Factor with Estimated Conversion Factor by Fee Adjustment Model Reflecting Health Service Volume (서비스양을 고려한 수가 결정모형에 의한 추정 환산지수와 실제 환산지수의 비교)

  • Background: Price control alone may not successfully restrain growth in health expenditures. This study aimed to propose fee adjustment model suitable for Korea reflecting health service volume and to clarify applicability of the model by comparing actual conversion factor with estimated conversion factor from simulation of this model. Methods: Fee adjustment model was developed based on Alberta's fee adjustment formula in Canada and 7 alternatives were assessed according to diversely applied parameters of the model. Results: Estimated conversion factors of the tertiary care hospital and the hospital were lower than actual conversion factors, since the utilization of heath service has been increased. However, there was no big difference between estimated conversion factors and actual conversion factors of the general hospital and the clinic. Eventually this fee adjustment model could estimate proper conversion factor reflecting health service volume. Conclusion: This model may be applicable to the mechanism as determining conversion factor between insurer and provider via negotiation and controling growth in health expenditures.

The Effects of Emotional Intelligence and Entertainer Idolization on School Life Adjustment in Middle School Students (중학생의 정서지능, 연예인 우상화가 학교생활적응에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examined the effects of emotional intelligence and entertainer idolization on school life adjustment of middle school students. For this study, questionnaires were administered to 300 first graders attending three different middle schools. The results were analyzed using correlation and hierarchical regression analysis with SPSS/PC window program. The results were as follows. Firstly, general trends of emotional intelligence showed a slightly higher than average score. The score of entertainer idolization was relatively low and the characteristic factor score was higher than the assessment factor score. For school life adjustment, the factor having the highest influence was relationship with friends. Secondly, the most influential factor on school life adjustment was emotional regulation, followed by academic grades, emotional recognition, emotional expression, and empathy. In conclusion, the level of entertainer idolization in middle school students was moderate. The important influential factors on school life adjustment were emotional intelligence factors and academic grades. In particular, emotional regulation was found to have the greatest influence.

Factor Affecting Adjustment of Freshmen Nursing Students to College Life (간호대 신입생의 대학생활적응에 영향을 미치는 요인)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the factor affecting adjustment of freshmen nursing students to college life. Method: The data were collected from questionnaires filled out by 265 nursing students six schools from all parts of the country from May 19 to June 4, 2010. Data was analyzed by the SPSS (frequency, ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis) program. Results: A positive correlation was found for college adjustment with psychological well-being, coping and mother attachment. The strongest predictor of college adjustment was an psychological well-being. In addition psychological well-being, coping, and contact frequency for interview with professor accounted for 39.2% of variance in college adjustment. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that development of psychological well-being and coping in nursing students is important to college adjustment. Further research in improving psychological well-being and coping is warranted.

The Relationships Between Peer Attachment, Self-esteem and Adjustment to College Life in Female College Students (여대생의 또래애착과 자아존중감 및 대학생활 적응과의 관계)

  • Purpose: To consider how college students' adjustment to college life is related to peer attachment and self-esteem. Method: The subjects were 183 female college students attending one university. The study data were collected with the inventory of peer attachment-revised version, the self-esteem inventory, and the inventory for adjustment to college life. The data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression. Results: There were significant differences in self-esteem according to residence type. There were significant differences in the adjustment to college life according to monthly income. There was a significantly positive correlation between peer attachment and adjustment to college life. There were significantly positive correlations between self-esteem and adjustment to college life and all of the subscales of adjustment to college life. Stepwise multiple regression analysis showed that 28.6% of the adjustment to college life was significantly explained by self-esteem and monthly income. Conclusion: Based on these findings, peer attachment is a very important factor influencing self-esteem which is itself a very important factor influencing adjustment to college life in female college students. Therefore, an alternative program designed to increase the self-esteem and peer attachment of female college students should be a planned program based on the study results.

  • Self-esteem and social supports are important variable influencing adjustment to college life. The study aims to identify the factors influencing college students' adjustment moderating effects on social supports. Data were collected from 265 usable questionnaires among college students in Pyeongtek University. Results of a factor analysis yielded three dimensions of self-esteem which were talent/attitude and capacity/pride. And results of factor analysis also yielded three dimensions of social supports which were family, friends, and professor supports. Hierarchical regression analysis revealed that capacity/pride and all of social support factors affected significantly for adjustment to college life. And female and attitude for students' major had a positive affect on adjustment to college life. It was suggested that self-esteem, social supports, and aptitude for students' major should be considered in college management policy.

Validation of School Adjustment Inventory for First Grade Elementary School Students (초등학교 일학년용 학교적응 척도 타당화 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the reliability and validity of the School Adjustment Inventory for 1st grade elementary school students(SAI-1st Grade). The subjects of this study were 624 first grade children attending 40 elementary schools and 120 first grade teachers of G City. Data were analyzed by Factor Analysis(EFA), Confirmatory Factor Analysis(CFA), Pearson's r and Cronbach's ${\alpha}$. Results of the test on content validity as evaluated by the first grade teachers was high. It was found that the School Adjustment Inventory for 1st graders of elementary school was a reliable and valid measure for evaluating the school adjustment of first grade students.
