The present study examined the relation between academic help-seeking behaviors and classroom context based on students' perceptions of various classroom goals stressed by their teachers and their perceived teacher support for seeking help. The 305 subjects were 5th grade students(162 boys and 143 girls) of an elementary school in Gwangyang. The students completed a questionnaire. Data were analyzed by $2{\times}2$ ANOVA. Results showed that students' help-seeking behaviors were influenced by their teachers' goal orientation and perceived teacher support for seeking help. The results of this study suggest that perceived teacher support for seeking help may be expecially important for some students who could use instrumental help to continue task engagement, and teachers' learning-focused goal orientation is an important variable of instrumental help-seeking behavior.

The current study investigates how student-teacher interaction can be developed through task-based teaching in undergraduate students' Saudi teaching and learning context. An experiment was conducted for five weeks on 85 male undergraduate students at a Saudi public university based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The study investigated different types of student-teacher interaction through task-based teaching (speaking activities). The results revealed that the experimental group (43 students) evinced much more enthusiasm, willingness, engagement and readiness in their inclass participation than their peers in the control group (42 students). The student-teacher interaction also helped students to be more responsive to general and specific topics in speaking activities. The study recommends that decision-makers in education make student-teacher interaction part of the student's monthly assessment. It also recommends that more efforts be made to foster the awareness of students, teachers, and parents awareness of the academic and non-academic importance of interaction. One final recommendation of the research is that student-teacher interaction should be more emphasized and integrated into the school curriculum and adopted as a critical teaching strategy.
Purpose: This study aims to investigate the degree of job demand, job resources, burnout, and the organizational commitment of administrative nurses based on the job demands-resources model. Further, it seeks to confirm the influencing factors affecting nurses' burnout and organizational commitment. Methods: The participants were 188 administrative nurses working at hospitals (one tertiary hospital and six general hospitals) located in D City. The collected data were analyzed with IBM SPSS Statistics 23.0 using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-tests, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. Results: The influential factors of burnout were role conflict (β=.50), job demand (β=.18), job position (β=-.17, team leaders and above), and social support (β=-.15). The regression model had an explanatory power of 59%. The influential factors of organizational commitment were appropriate rewards (β=.59), job position (β=.15, team leader or above), working department (β=.14, referral center and health screening administration department), and social support (β=.18). The regression model had an explanatory power of 59.5%. Conclusion: The results support the job demands-resources model, and interventions should be developed to decrease job demand and provide sufficient job resources.
With the rapid development of digital technologies potential exists to expand upon the accessibility of fashion archives and increase their use as a pedagogical tool for research. At present this is compromised due the three-dimensional, tactile nature of the objects being viewed and the fact that they are not necessarily replicable in a digital format. The aim of this paper is to examine art and design students physical object research skills and discuss how they are positioned in relation to creative tools and strategies they use to produce outcomes such as they own collections and design responses. Findings and conclusions are drawn from projects concerned with the development and use of physical and virtual archives and inform the methodology used. Traditional methods and tools within higher education are discussed together with students increased use of digital resources and innovative ways to engage students. The academic challenge of supporting student engagement in archival research across digital and physical dimensions is explored. The papers findings indicate a need for further research considering the impact of digital technology on students' physical integration with archives and the need for more structured support surrounding student physical and digital research investigations.

Due to the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic, the new norm of online learning has been recognized as core to medical institutions for academic continuity, and students are expected to be motivated and engaged in learning while maintaining distance from other peers and educators. To facilitate students' and educators' newly defined roles in online medical education settings, it is crucial to understand how students are actively motivated and engaged in learning. Hence, this study explored medical students' motivational regulation profiles and examined the effects of motivational regulation strategies (MRS) on cognitive learning and learning engagement for online learning. Data were collected after the end of the first semester in 2020 from a sample of 334 medical students enrolled at a public university school of medicine. Latent profile analysis indicated three subgroups with different motivational regulation profiles: the low-profile, medium-profile, and high-profile groups. Regarding different MRS patterns in the high-profile group, mastery self-talk, performance approach self-talk, and the self-consequating strategy appeared to be most applicable for regulating learners' motivation. Analysis of variance showed that the profile groups with higher levels of MRS use were connected to a higher willingness to use cognitive learning strategies and a higher degree of engagement in online learning. The findings of this study emphasize the use of specific sets of MRS to support learning motivation and the need to design effective self-regulated learning environments in online medical education settings.
Purpose - This study examines the positive impact of the social distance between producers and users of online content, investigating and analyzing the most popular Web content. In addition, it tries to elicit the matching effect that appears when the individuals'cultural background is consistent with social distance. Research design, data, and methodology - We collected and analyzed actual data about 4,981 videos clips on YouTube, looking at six countries in order to verify the content of this study. Based on the results of the data analysis, the study conducted behavioral measurements on popularity, social distance, culture, and user engagement. The unit of analysis was the content and we collected information about the content producers and the content records. We controlled the views, comments, likes, calendar dates, and ages in the empirical models. The data was collected in 2011, with the records coming from South Korea, Japan, China, U.S., German, and France. A total of 4,980 elements were analyzed in the model. The empirical model estimated is the bivariate negative binomial distribution (NBD) model. Results - It turns out that there is a possibility that the matching effect can be diminished by variables that reflect the psychological involvement of user engagement. This study proposes academic and practical implications based on these research results. This research shows the positive effect of social distance between users and producers on the increased performance of the online content. We find the effect of social distance to be a stronger tendency in collectivism. The collectivists follow their sense of friendship and intimacy in their culture and, the social congruence effect can be found there as well. The effect, however, could erode in a social case where users are motivated by strong intrinsic and psychological factors. In addition, user engagement complicates the process of user decision making regarding the information. Conclusions - This study examines how the differential effects of social distance caused by culture could disappear through user commitment as a complicated user motivation. Some potential implications are as follows. First, a firm in the collectivism culture has to communicate based on the social distance. In fact, most online channels do not have a function that indicates the social distance as measured by favorites or subscribers. This function could help increase the performance of the content in online channels, but this increasing effect can only be found in a collectivist culture. Based on this, the firms have to communicate and announce to users the actual social distance between users and producers. Second, firms should develop a system that discovers the social distance and culture and shows these measures to users and producers, since the congruence effect between social distance and culture is found only for low user engagement. The firms can take the advantage of the congruence effect only for the development of the social distance and culture visualized system.
