In this study, the relation between cant deficiency(C＇) and rail wear in Seoul Metro Line 5 with STEDEF track structure(concrete bed) is studied. As a result, it is found that cant deficiency have a direct influence on rail wear, and under the condition that other negative effects are neglected, the cant deficiency in Metro Lines is demanded to set as little as possible.

A variety of Feynman's operational calculus for noncommuting operators was studied [3,4,5,6,7,10]. And a stability in the continuous measures for Feynman's operational calculus was studied [9]. In this paper, we investigate a stability of the Feynman's operational calculus in the setting where the time-ordering measures are allowed to have both continuous and discrete parts.

A generalized even-dimensional Riemannian manifold defined by the ME-connection which is both Einstein and of the form (3.3) is called an even-dimensional ME-manifold and we denote it by $MEX_{2n}$. The purpose of this paper is to study a necessary and sufficient condition that there is an ME-connection, to derive the useful properties of some tensors, and to investigate a representation of the ME-vector in $MEX_{2n}$.

In this paper, we describe a method for two-way communication service for smart phone integrated with pager which receive various kinds of Internet service information and pushes this information into smart phone to make it available for Internet assess. In this method, the server can push the status data of message boxes into the smart phone and it makes connection to the server automatically. The proposed method will make it possible to manage and excange the information and resources in an efficient manner during idle time, and will provide the potential capabilities of developing a variety of new Internet services for the system.

We investigated the actual usefulness of bathrooms in individuals living in apartment. We performed a randomized matched questionaire study involving 487 individuals who use a unit-bathroom and live in apartment in Taegu and it's rural cities for the period from May to June, 2000. Most of the individuals used bathroom for washing behavior of daily living, such as, washing hands, feet, face, and hair, except bathing, Almost all the individuals reported some complaints about the height and size of wash-stand when they wash face or hair, And most of the individuals does not use the bath-tube when they shower or bathe.

A 12-yr-old patient was admitted due to severe hemoptysis and known cyanotic CHD. In chest P-A and echocardiogram, pulmonary aspergilloma in left upper lobe was associated with TOF. The cardiac catheterization couldnt be done because of frequent hypoxic spell and severe hemoptysis. Surgical management was performed. After left posterolateral thoractomy, modified Blalock-Taussig shunt operation and left upper lobe lobectomy were done at same time. Postoperative PaO2 was elevated and hemoptysis was disappeared.

The control of the switched reluctance motor is usually on the inductance profiles as a function of position. In this paper, a control scheme to maximize the motor torque is proposed by determining optimal turn-off angle with a self-tuning control method.

We consider the Cauchy problem for Laplacian. Using the single layer representation, we obtain an equivalent system of boundary integral equations. We show the singular values of the ill-posed Cauchy operator decay exponentially, which means that a small error is exponentially amplified in the solution of the Cauchy problem. We show the decaying rate is dependent on the geometry of he domain, which provides the information on the choice of numerically meaningful modes. We suggest a pseudo-inverse regularization method based on singular value decomposition and present various numerical simulations.

This paper addresses the Fault Monitoring System developed by Hyundai-Rotem based on the Mil-HDBK-2155 Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System. The purpose of a FRACAS is to provide a documented history of any problems, failures, their associated corrective actions as well as detailing how and why each problem arose or failure occurred during the Warranty Period for Rolling Stock delivered by Hyundai-Rotem. The Fault Monitoring System can assess the reliability, availability and maintainability as well as can predict no. of failure at a time which can input to Life Cycle Cost.
