  • In this study, electromagnetic analysis of current paths including meander pattern, spiral pattern, and bi-spiral pattern were performed and in order to verity the analysis results, experiments tests including quench test, and insulation tests were performed. In addition, bubble corner concepts were introduced to enhance insulation reliability. From our study, bi-spiral pattern of YBCO thin films were rather effective for quench and insulation than the other patterns. So this current path pattern was adopted for YBCO thin films in order to develop 6.6 kV resistive fault current limiters. Finally YBCO thin films were connected in series and parallel to enhance capacity, and the test results of current limiting characteristics of 6.6kV resistive SFCL were successful. • The main purpose of this study was to explore the effect of the stress of hospitalization on the sleep pattern. Additionaly, this study was also to demonstrate how Johnson's nursing model may be applied to as nursing process. 104 hospitalized patients on surgical and medical wards were asked to rate 49 stress producing events associated with experience of hospitalization and sleep pattern scale. Five university hospitals were used as the setting for this study. Data for the study were collected by patient interview during hospitalization, self-reports and review of charts. For the analysis of the data, the pearson's correlation analysis of covariance and regression analysis were used. The results of this study were stated as follows; 1. The mean of the hospital stress scores was 111.261(S.D.=26.160). This means that the level of the hospitalization stress is high. The mean of the sleep pattern scores was 12.204(S.D. =2.615) This means that the characteristic's of the sleep pattern is poor. 2. The relationship between the hospitalization stress and sleep pattern was statistically significant at .01 level. 3. The effect of the hospitalization stress influenced strongly on the sleep pattern after sex, trait anxiety as covariates controlled. 4. The hospitalization stress revealed a 12% pre-diction as an influenced factor for the sleep pattern. Therefore, It can he said that the hospital stress did contribute significantly to the characteristics of the sleep pattern. Johnson's model can he also said that it is useful for the the assessment and diagnosis in nursing process.

  • The purpose of this study was to compare the pattern of two men's pants for education and two for industry, and to analyze the patterning method that is most suitable for the body shape of middle-aged men. As a result of appearance evaluation for 3D simulation, J pattern was evaluated as the best in most items, and H pattern was analyzed to be the most inappropriate. As a result of measuring the airgap, all four patterns of the waist circumference were evaluated to have very small airgap, and the J pattern had the smallest airgap for the pants. J pattern was analyzed as the most suitable pattern for middle-aged men's body shape by synthesizing the appearance evaluation of virtual wear, color distribution, sectional view, airgap, etc. However, in the case of J pattern, it was analyzed that the pants length needs to be modified. Since this study compared and analyzed only two patterns for education and two for industry, it is thought that the development of pants for middle-aged men should be developed through actual wearing experiments with J patterns.

  • In this paper, we suggest a 3D vision inspection method which use only one camera. If we have the database of pattern and can recognize the object, and also estimate the rotated shape of the parts, we can inspect the parts using only one image. We used the 3D database and the 2D geometrical pattern matching, and the rotation transition theory about the algorithm. As the results, we could have the capability of the recognition and inspection of the rotated object through the estimation of rotation an81e. We applied our suggested algorithm to the inspection of typical IC and capacitor, and compared our suggested algorithm with the conventional 2D inspection method and the feature space trajectory method.

  • In this paper, we compare the quality of images reconstructed by a conventional delayed-sum (DS) algorithm and radiation pattern-based DS algorithm. In order to evaluate the quality of images, we apply the target-to-clutter ratio (TCR), which is commonly used in synthetic aperture radar (SAR) image assessment. The radiation pattern-based DS algorithm enhances the TCR of the image by focusing the target signals and preventing contamination of the radar scene. We first consider synthetic data obtained through GprMax2D/3D, a finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) forward solver. Experimental data of a 2-GHz bandwidth stepped-frequency signal are collected using a vector network analyzer (VNA) in an anechoic chamber setup. The radiation pattern-based DS algorithm shows a 6.7-dB higher TCR compared to the conventional DS algorithm.

  • A vision sensor should be calibrated prior to infer a Euclidian shape reconstruction. A point to point calibration. also referred to as a hard calibration, estimates calibration parameters by means of a set of 3D to 2D point pairs. We proposed a new method for determining a set of 3D to 2D pairs for the structured light hard calibration. It is simply determined based on epipolar geometry between camera image plane and projector plane, and a projector calibrating grid pattern. The projector calibration is divided two stages; world 3D data acquisition Stage and corresponding 2D data acquisition stage. After 3D data points are derived using cross ratio, corresponding 2D point in the projector plane can be determined by the fundamental matrix and horizontal grid ID of a projector calibrating pattern. Euclidian reconstruction can be achieved by linear triangulation. and experimental results from simulation are presented.

  • This study develops a fitted torso type basic pattern for men by utilizing 3D body scan data. Recent fashion trends are reflected in the development of the pattern. The subjects were 15 men in their 20's, who wear size 95 (M size). Body scan data was obtained through a 3D whole body scanner (WB4, Cyberware, USA), and a body surface development figure for developing male fitted torso type basic pattern was attained through the use of Rapid Form 2006 as well as Auto CAD 2006 programs. The results are as follows: A body surface development figure through body surface segment method showed high exactitude in an error range of 100$\pm$1%. In addition, it occurred in an error range of 100:1:3% because of the hard scanning conditions in the incline of the shoulder and armpit areas. However, the body surface development figure as well as the direct measurement results can be used as basic data for the given patternmaking since the error range falls into 100$\pm$3%. Dart amounts obtained from the average cross section were center back 2.2cm (24.3%), back armpit point 3.8cm (41.8%), front armpit point 3.0cm (33.9%). As shown the jacket pattern, the biggest dart amount was portioned out at the back armpit point. The drafting equations for the development pattern acquired are as follows; Full width=C/2+5cm, back length=height/4-1cm, armhole depth=(C/10+12cm)+3cm, back width=2C/10+2cm, front width=2C/10. The development pattern was a fitted torso basic pattern that was composed of 3 pieces, so it would be very useful in developing shirt or jacket patterns. According to the results of the evaluation of the developed pattern appearance, it obtained higher scores of over 3.5 points in almost items, meaning that the developed pattern is appropriate for a male fitted torso type basic pattern. It suggests a possibility of patternmaking from a body surface development figure in 2-D to prototype.

  • Based on a 3D body data and pattern comparison analysis, this study developed a formal jacket pattern for men in their late 30s. In order to select the representative type of men in their late 30s, factor analysis and cluster analysis were conducted on data form 319 men, 35 to 39 years old using the anthropometric data from The 7th Size Korea (2015) as the representative body type. The surface of the body surface was developed using a 3D human shape of a male in his 30s in The 6th Size Korea (2010). Then the shape was changed to a flat pattern that confirmed the necessary elements for setting the shape and dimension. Cluster analysis revealed type B as the representative type because it showed the best shape characteristics for men in the late 30s. The drafting method of the final research pattern is as follows. Jacket length: stature/2.5cm, back length: stature/5+8.5cm (constant)], armhole depth: [stature/ 7-1.5cm (constant)], back width: [C/9+9.5cm (constant)]+1cm (ease), front width: [C/9+8.5cm (constant)]+1cm (ease), armscye depth: C/8, front waist darts: 1cm, front closure amount: 2cm.

  • Sequential pattern mining that determines frequent patterns appearing in a given set of sequences is an important data mining problem with broad applications. For example, sequential pattern mining can find the web access patterns, customer's purchase patterns and DNA sequences related with specific disease. In this paper, we develop the sequential pattern mining algorithms using MapReduce framework. Our algorithms distribute input data to several machines and find frequent sequential patterns in parallel. With synthetic data sets, we did a comprehensive performance study with varying various parameters. Our experimental results show that linear speed up can be achieved through our algorithms with increasing the number of used machines.
