Interspecific hybrid plants between Allium cepa L. (2n=2X=16) and A. fistulosum L. (2n=2X=16)and their backcross lines were developed by artificial pollination in order to introduce new desirable characters of A, cepa to A. fistulosum. The 2C nuclear DNA content has been estimated by flow cytometry in 5 Allium fistulosum inbreed lines, 2 interspecific hybrid lines of A. cepa${\times}$A. fistulosum and 34 their backcross lines $BC_1F_1$ to $BC_2F_2$, using propidium iodide (PI) as a fluorescence dye. Estimated 2C DNA values ranged from 22.2 pg to 23.7 pg in 5 A. fistulosum inbreed lines, 37.9 pg in F1 hybrid between A. cepa and A. fistulosum, 24.3 pg to 27.3 pg in 7 backcross lines in $BC_1F_1$, 21.9 pg to 24.4 pg in 9 $BC_1F_2$, 22.9 pg to 25.1 pg in 14 $BC_2F_1$, 22.6 pg to 23.4 pg in 4 $BC_2F_2$. This study showed mean 2C nuclear DNA content of $F_1$ hybrid was higher than their backcross progeny lines, while it was lower than female parental line, A. cepa (2C DNA=33.2 pg). Mean 2C DNA content of backcross lines, $BC_1F_1$ to $BC_2F_2$ was not significantly different but their 2C DNA contents in the more progress generation from $BC_1F_1$ to $BC_2F_2$ were reduced.
In this paper, we investigate the [p, q] - φ order and [p, q] - φ type of f1 + f1, ${\frac{f_1}{f_2}}$ and f1 f1, where f1 and f1 are analytic or meromorphic functions with the same [p, q]-φ order and different [p, q]-φ type in the unit disc. Also, we study the [p, q]-φ order and [p, q]-φ type of different f and its derivative. At the end, we investigate the relationship between two different [p, q] - φ convergence exponents of f. We extend some earlier precedent well known results.
A set {a1, a2, ⋯ , am} of positive integers is called a Diophantine m-tuple if aiaj + 1 is a perfect square for all 1 ≤ i < j ≤ m. Let Fn be the nth Fibonacci number which is defined by F0 = 0, F1 = 1 and Fn+2 = Fn+1 + Fn. In this paper, we find the extendibility of Diophantine pairs {F2k, b} with some conditions.

An investigation made of fabric strength & elongation and the lock stitch seam strength & elongation by stitch density (N1.5; 26 stitches/3 cm, N2.0; 19 stitches/3 cm, N2.5; 14 stitches/3cm) depending on methods of. sample prepariation (angle variations of unseamed sample and overlapping way of seamed sample) It found maximum stitch density that results of the seam strength test was highist in each angle of bias. The results obstained were as follows: 1. As the results of fabric strength and elongation tests as a function of angle of bias, breaking strength were that warp and weft angles (0$^{\circ}$, 90$^{\circ}$) were much higher than bias angles (20$^{\circ}$, 30$^{\circ}$, 45$^{\circ}$, 60$^{\circ}$) . And otherwise breaking elongation were that 45$^{\circ}$ angle of bias were highest and were that the warp & weft way were lower. 2. As the results of the seam strength tests by the stitch density under samples of same angles, the maximum stitch density were those; under 0$^{\circ}$/0$^{\circ}$, 60$^{\circ}$/60$^{\circ}$:F1, F2-N2.0, F3-N1.5, under 20$^{\circ}$/20$^{\circ}$, 30$^{\circ}$/30$^{\circ}$, 45$^{\circ}$/45$^{\circ}$: F1-N2.5, F2-N2.0, F3-N1.5, under 90$^{\circ}$/90$^{\circ}$: F1, F2, F3-N1.5. 3. As the results of the seam strength tests by the stitch density under samples of symmetry angles, the maximum stitch density were those; under 20$^{\circ}$/-20$^{\circ}$, 30$^{\circ}$/-30$^{\circ}$, 60$^{\circ}$/-60$^{\circ}$: F1, F3-N1.5, F2-N2.0, under 45$^{\circ}$/-45$^{\circ}$: F1, F2-N2.0, F3-N1.5.
In the present work, novel orange peel was extracted with 100%EtOH (ethanol) and fractionated into four fractions namely F1, F2, F3, F4 which were eluted from paper chromatographs using 100%EtOH, 80%EtOH, 50%EtOH and pure water respectively. The crude extract and its four fractions were evaluated for their total polyphenol content (TPC), total flavonoid content (TFC) and radical scavenging activity using DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl) assay. Their cytotoxic activity using WST assay and DNA damage by agarose gel electrophoresis were also evaluated in a human leukemia HL-60 cell line. The findings revealed that F4 had the highest TPC followed by crude extract, F2, F3 and F1. However, the crude extract had the highest TFC followed by F4, F3, F2, and F1. Depending on the values of $EC_{50}$ and trolox equivalent antioxidant capacity, F4 possessed the strongest antioxidant activity while F1 and F2 displayed weak antioxidant activity. Further, incubation HL-60 cells with extract/fractions for 24h caused an inhibition of cell viability in a concentration-dependent manner. F3 and F4 exhibited a high antiproliferative activity with a narrow range of $IC_{50}$ values ($45.9-48.9{\mu}g/ml$). Crude extract exhibited the weakest antiproliferative activity with an $IC_{50}$ value of $314.89{\mu}g/ml$. Analysis of DNA fragmentation displayed DNA degradation in the form of a smear-type pattern upon agarose gel after incubation of HL-60 cells with F3 and F4 for 6 h. Overall, F3 and F4 appear to be good sources of phytochemicals with antioxidant and potential anticancer activities.
This paper studies the relation between the Fundamental Frequency (F0) and the formants of simple vowels in the Korean language sung by sopranos. It is hewn that, in soprano singing, the F0 of a vowel affects its formants. For this reason the formants of simple vowels sung by sopranos must be considered in all over the soprano singing range. We recorded the five simple vowel sounds /a/, /e/, /i/, /o/, and /u/ sung by five professional sopranos from A3 (220.0Hz) to A5 (880.0Hz) in the major scale and compared the formants of the sung vowels with those of spoken vowels. We observed that F1 and F2 of sung vowels were stable in low F0 (lower than B4) but in high F0 (higher than B4), F1 and F2 lost their stabilities. In the case of /a/, /o/, and /u/, the slope of the F1-F2 graph was about 2.6, and those of the F0-F2 and F0-Fl graphs were 2.2-2.5 and 0.7-1.0, respectively. And as the F0 increases, the F1 and F2 of sung vowels /a/, /e/, /i/, /o/, and /u/ were almost the same. At A5, the Fl and F2 of five sung vowels had the same values. This results suggest that the relation between the F0 and the formants be used to synthesize soprano's singing vowels.
This study was performed to assess clinical signs, sedative and physiologic effects of a combination of fentanyl, azaperone and xylazine (F-A-X). The experiments were divided into four groups; xylazine 0.1mg/kg (X 0.1), F-A-X 0.05 MG/KG (F-A-X 0.05), F-A-X 0.1 MG/KG (F-A-X 0.1) and F-A-X 0.2mg/kg (F-A-X 0.2). Heart rates were decreased in all groups. Respiratory rates were decreased in other groups, but increased in F-A-X 0.2. Body temperatures were in normal ranges. After administration of F-A-X, most of cattle were recumbency and did not respond to needle prick. Duration of sedation was prolonged with increasing dosages. F-A-X did not induce sufficient analgesia for dehorning. Side effects were salivation and urination in all, but they were much less in F-A-X groups than those in X 0.1. Intermittent apnea and bloat were observed in F-A-X 0.2. Serum chemistry values were in normal ranges exvept for hyperglycemia invreased thorough experimental time. Based on above results, it may be concluded that F-A-X is effective preanesthetic with low dosage of 0.05~0.1 mg/kg being useful for immobilization or manipulation without tissue incision in cattle.

The 1/f noise spectrum of short-circuited output drain current due to the Shockley-Read-Hal] recombination centers with a single lifetime in homogeneous nondegenerate MOS-field effcte transtors with n-type channel is calculated under the assumptions that the quasi-Fermi level for the carriers in each energy band can not be defined if we include the fluctuation for time varying quantities. and so 1/f noise is a majority carrier effect. Under these assumptions the derived 1/f noise in this paper show some essential features of the 1/f noise in MOS-field effect transistors. That is, it has no lowfrequency plateau and is proportionnal to the channel cross area A and to the driain bias voltage Vd and inversely proportional to the channel length L3 in MOS field effect transistors. This model can explain the discrepancy between the transition frequency of the noise spectrum from 1/f- response to 1/f2 and the frequency corresponding to the relaxation time related to the surface centers in p-n junction diodes. In this paper the results show that the functional form of noise spectrum is greatly influenced by the functional forms of the electron capture probability cn (E) and the relaxation time r (E) for scattering and the case of lattice scattering show to be responsible for the 4 noise in MOS fold effect transistors. So we canconclude that the source of 1/f noise is due to lattice scattering.
Let $F_1$ and $F_2$ be two F ratios with independent numerators and a common denominator. They are known to be positively dependent. The probabilities of simultaneous rejection and conditional rejection are numerically computed for both null and nonnull cases. The probabilities are presented in tables and graphics to show the influence of the seven parameters, the degrees of freedom of the numerators and the denominator, the non-centralities of the numerators, and the two levels of significance of the tests. The values of the correlation coefficient between $F_1$ and $F_2$ are also presented. Finally, a conjecture on the dependence order of the family of distributions of $(F_1, F_2)$ is given.
In this paper, we investigate the stability of a quadratic-cubic-quartic functional equation $$f(x+ky)+f(x-ky)-k^2f(x+y)-k^2f(x-y)-2(1-k^2)f(x)-{\frac{k^2(k^2-1)}{6}}(f(2y)+2f(-y)-6f(y))=0$$ by applying the direct method in the sense of Gǎvruta.
