OPPORTUNISTIC REPLACEMENT POLICIES UNDER MARKOVIAN DETERIORATION

  • Consider a series system of two units, named 1 and 2, respectively. Two units are observed at the beginning of discrete time periods t=0,1,2, $cdots$ and classified as being in one of a countable number of states. Let (i, r) be a state of the system at time t, when the state of unit 1 is i and state of unit 2 is r at time t, Under some conditions, the opportunistic replacement policy that minimizes the expected total discounted cost or the average cost of maintenance is shown to be characterized by the control limits $i^{*}(r)$ (a function of r) and $r^{*}(i)$ (a function of i) : (a) in observed state (i, r), the optimal policy for unit 1 is to replace if $i{\ge}i^{*}(r)$ and no action otherwise; (b) in observed state (i, r), the optimal policy for unit 2 is to replace if $r{\ge}r^{*}(i)$ and no action otherwise. In addition, this paper also develops optimal policy in the finite time horizon case, where time horizon is fixed or a finite integer valued r.v. with known pmf.

공동주택규모와 옥내외 물리적 주거환경만족도의 상관관계 연구 (A Study on the Correlation of Residential Satisfaction of Dwellers and the Size of Housing Unit in Apartment Housing)

  • The purpose of this research was to analyze the correlation of residential satisfaction and the size of housing unit in apartment housing through the case study of 1,619 samples of 36 housing estates. The contents of this research consisted of two main parts. The first part was to identify the differences of residential satisfaction of dwellers, based on the size of housing unit, in apartment housing. The second part was to analyze the characteristics of residential environment, which might have an influence on the differences of residential satisfaction. the findings of this study were that the residential satisfaction of dwellers was proportional to the size of housing unit except $39m^2$ under housing unit, and the size of housing unit was not proportional to the residential satisfaction of outdoor openness exactly, but the size of housing unit was proportional to increase of the distance between building and building, and decrease of the building surface coverage ratio to outdoor area. This research will contribute to the establishment of the site planning methods which increase residential satisfaction in apartment housing, while promoting the quality of residential environment in Korea.

ORDER, TYPE AND ZEROS OF ANALYTIC AND MEROMORPHIC FUNCTIONS OF [p, q] - ϕ ORDER IN THE UNIT DISC

  • In this paper, we investigate the [p, q] - φ order and [p, q] - φ type of f1 + f1, ${\frac{f_1}{f_2}}$ and f1 f1, where f1 and f1 are analytic or meromorphic functions with the same [p, q]-φ order and different [p, q]-φ type in the unit disc. Also, we study the [p, q]-φ order and [p, q]-φ type of different f and its derivative. At the end, we investigate the relationship between two different [p, q] - φ convergence exponents of f. We extend some earlier precedent well known results.

  • In this paper, a boundary version of the Schwarz lemma is investigated. We take into consideration a function $f(z)=z+c_{p+1}z^{p+1}+c_{p+2}z^{p+2}+{\cdots}$ holomorphic in the unit disc and $\|\frac{f(z)}{{\lambda}f(z)+(1-{\lambda})z}-{\alpha}\|$ < ${\alpha}$ for ${\mid}z{\mid}$ < 1, where $\frac{1}{2}$ < ${\alpha}$ ${\leq}{\frac{1}{1+{\lambda}}}$, $0{\leq}{\lambda}$ < 1. If we know the second and the third coefficient in the expansion of the function $f(z)=z+c_{p+1}z^{p+1}+c_{p+2}z^{p+2}+{\cdots}$, then we can obtain more general results on the angular derivatives of certain holomorphic function on the unit disc at boundary by taking into account $c_{p+1}$, $c_{p+2}$ and zeros of f(z) - z. We obtain a sharp lower bound of ${\mid}f^{\prime}(b){\mid}$ at the point b, where ${\mid}b{\mid}=1$.

성인 심장수술 후 중환자실에 입실한 환자의 계획된 발관 후 비계획적 기관 재삽관 위험요인과 임상결과 (Risk Factors and Clinical Outcomes of Unplanned Reintubation after Planned Extubation in Adult Patients admitted to the Intensive Care Unit after Cardiac Surgery)

  • Purpose : This study aimed to identify risk factors for unplanned reintubation after planned extubation and to analyze the clinical outcomes in patients admitted to the intensive care unit after cardiac surgery. Methods : The study examined patients who underwent intubation and planned extubation admitted to the intensive care unit after cardiac surgery between January 1, 2017, and December 31, 2021. The reintubation group comprised 58 patients underwent unplanned reintubation within 7 days of planned extubation. The maintenance group comprised 116 patients who did not undergo reintubation and were matched with the reintubation group using the rational for matching criteria. Data were collected retrospectively from electronic medical records. We used the independent t-test, Mann-Whitney U test, 𝑥2-test, Fisher's exact test, and logistic regression analysis with SPSS/WIN 27.0. Results : The multivariate logistic regression analysis demonstrated that albumin (odds ratio [OR]=0.38, 95% confidence interval [CI]=0.20-0.72), surgery time (OR=1.54, 95% CI=1.20-1.97), PaO2 before extubation (OR=0.85 per 10 mmHg, 95% CI=0.75-0.97), postoperative arrhythmia (OR=2.82, 95% CI=1.22-6.51), reoperation due to bleeding (OR=4.65, 95% CI=1.27-17.07), and postoperative acute renal failure (OR=2.97, 95% CI=1.09-8.04) were risk factors for unplanned reintubation. The reintubation group had a higher in-hospital mortality rate (𝑥2=33.74, p<.001), longer intensive care unit stay (Z=-7.81, p<.001), and longer hospital stay than the maintenance group (Z=-8.29, p<.001). Conclusion : These results identified risk factors and clinical outcomes of unplanned reintubation after planned extubation after cardiac surgery. These findings should be considered when developing and managing an intervention program to prevent and reduce the incidence of unplanned reintubation.

노후 아파트 재건축에 관한 거주자의 의식 조사연구 - 울산시를 중심으로 - (Resident's opinions about reconstructing the old-aged and deteriorated in Ulsan city)

  • This study was aimed at providing valuable information that can help the government and the housing development staff deal with the problem with ‘Redevelopment Apartment Rehabilitation’ in Ulsan city.For the purpose of this study, questionaire are constructed with contents about socio-demography factors, housing factors. attitute forward reconstruction, and housing needs of respondents. questionaire were collected from 232 housewives living in old-aged and deteriorated apartment houses in Ulsan. Apartment houses of respondents are 5 floor. more than 100unit houses. and above 10 years old the living size of apartmet is less than 25 pyoung(82.5m2) per unit house and average living size is 16~20 Pyoung(52.8m2~66.Om2)/unit house. Average family size is 4-5 persons. and average income is about 1,200,000 Won(about $ 1,500) Per month. The major findings are as follows :First, they want the reconstruction of old-aged and deteriorated apartment house very positively.Second. they want high rise building, more lager parking lot. market. sports facility. and play yard for children. Third they want that size of unit house is 26~30 pyoung85.8m2~99.0m2). the number of room is 3~4, the number of bathroom is 1-2. and type of access is stair style.

인식 단위로서의 한국어 음절에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Korean Syllable As Recognition Unit)

  • 본 논문에서는 한국어 대용량 어휘 인식 시스템에 적합한 인식 단위에 대하여 연구 및 실험하였다. 특히 현재 인식 시스템의 인식 단위로 주로 사용되는 음소와 한국어의 특징을 잘 나타내는 음절을 선택하고, 인식 실험을 통해 음절이 한국어 인식 시스템의 인식 단위로서 적합한가를 음소와 비교하였다. 객관적인 비교 인식 실험 결과를 제시하기 위하여 동일한 남성 화자의 음성 데이터를 수집하고, 수작업 음소 경계 및 레이블링 과정을 거친 음성 데이터 베이스를 구축하였다. 또한 각 인식 단위에 동일한 HMM 기반의 훈련 및 인식 알고리즘을 적용하기 위해 Entropic사의 HTK (HMM Tool Kit) 2.0을 사용하였다. 각 인식 단위의 훈련을 위해 5상태 3출력, 8상태 6출력 HMM 모델의 연속 HMM (Continuous HMM)을 적용하였고, PBW 3회분, POW 1회분을 훈련에 사용하고 PBW 1회분을 각 인식 단위로서 인식하는 화자 종속 단어 인식 실험을 구성하였다. 실험 결과 8상태 6출력 모델을 사용한 경우 음소 단위는 95.65%, 음절 단위는 94.41%의 인식률을 나타내었다. 한편 인식 속도에서는 음절이 음소보다 약 25% 빠른 것으로 나타났다.

대학도서관 직원수 산출 공식에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Formula Approach to the Staff Size of University Libraries in Korea)

  • 이 연구는 1990년 이전에 설립된 90개 4년제 대학을 대상으로 대학도서관의 11개 내외적 구성요소와 지원수 간의 중다상관관계를 분석하고, 이를 근거로 중다회귀분석기법과 사서직원 대 비사서직원의 구성비율을 이용하여 우리나라 실정을 고려한 사서직원 수와 전체직원 수의 산출공식 모형안을 제시한 것이다. 이 연구의 결과로 도출된 직원 수 산출공식 모형은 다음과 같다. (1) 사서직원 수 = 3.016+0.0l6x총 장서수(단위 : 천권) -0.008x연간증가책수(단위 : 백권)+0.031x대학원등록학생수(단위 : 십명)+0.069x마부등록하생수(단위 : 백명)+0.093x자료구입비(단위 : 천만원). (2) 전체직원 수 = 4.638+0.024x총장서수(단위 : 천권) -0.012x연간증가책수(단위 : 백권)+0.047x대학원등록학생수(단위 : 십명)+0.106x학부등록학생수(단위 : 백명)+0.066x자료구입비(단위 : 천만원).

HEVC의 분할 영역에서 효율적인 움직임 정보 표현 (Efficient Motion Information Representation in Splitting Region of HEVC)

  • 본 논문은 움직임 벡터와 함께 Coding Unit (CU)의 분할 정보를 표현하기 위해 쿼드트리 기반의 Coding Unit Tree (CUT)를 제안한다. 새로운 동영상 국제 표준안인 High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC)는 높은 압축 효율을 위해 다양한 새로운 기술들을 채택하였다. 그리고 CU, prediction Unit (PU), 와 Transform Unit (TU)라는 분할 개념을 도입하였다. 그중 기본 부호화 단위인 CU는 H.264/AVC의 매크로 블록보다 다양한 크기를 제공하며 계층적인 구조를 가지고 있으며 쿼드트리 기반의 영상을 분할하고 처리한다. 이러한 구조는 유연성과 최적화를 이룰 수 있는 기반을 제공하고 있으나, 분할 정보에 대한 오버헤더가 발생한다. 복잡한 움직임 정보가 발생하면, 해당하는 정보를 전송하기 위해 다양한 신호가 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 다양한 신호들을 분석하고, 중복되는 정보를 제거하기 위한 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안하는 알고리즘 은 기본 블록인 $2{\times}2$ 블록을 기준으로 계층적인 구조를 제안한다. 제안하는 알고리즘은 쿼드트리 기반의 타입 코드로 영상을 구조를 나타내고, 대표 값과 잔여 값으로 각 노드의 값을 표현한다. 결과에서 제안하는 알고리즘이 HM1.0보다 13.6% 압축 향상을 보여준다.

광복전후(光復前後) 공영주택(公營住宅)의 평면비교(平面比較)와 변화특성(變化特性)에 관한 연구(硏究) (A Study on the Comparison and Characteristics of Public Standard Housing Unit Plan before and after the Independence from the Japan Occupation)

  • Even though there have been greate changes in the types and contents of the housing plan in Korea since the Modem age, it seems that the identity of traditional dwelling culture is still remains within it. The purpose of this study is to examine the characteristics and features in the development of the 'Public Standard' Housing Unit Plan by comparing the differences and similarities in unit plans in housings built on Japanese occupation period and those built after the period. From the study, we can conclude as follows: 1. The public standard housing unit plans on both periods have shown the common features in the composition of their physical forms in the way that the front-row area still remains the traditional housing culture and the rear-row area reflects the desires of the modem lives. The structure of the dual-row unit plan appeared in the public standard housing plan was caused by the cultural acculturation in Japanese occupation period. 2. The public standard housing unit plans, however, show the differences in the contents and meaning in units plans with the them of the Japanese housing because of the cultural differences. These differences took placed autonomously through the change of housing plans in the modern time, and have the common features such that 1) the changes in the Maru-centered plan type differ in composition from the inner-corridor plan type used Japanese housing, and 2) the composition of the open-inner spaces in the double-row housing plan reflects the single-row outer open space In the traditional housing. All of these cultural progresses in the public standard housing unit plans was took place as the result of the inner-oriented and notional circulations derived from the modernity. However, the transformed unit plans still contains the identity derived from the variation of the traditional Korean building elements such as Maru and Ondol. In other words, those are the Maru-centered and composed housing plans with juxtaposition of the inner block and the outer block. As the conclusion, though the public standard dwelling unit plan has the similarity in the physical form, it is different in the cultural Identity and meaning from the public standard plans before the independence from the Japan occupation.
