A Study on Gusadang Kim Nakhaeng's Writing for Ancestral Rites - Exploring the source of his appealing (구사당(九思堂) 김낙행(金樂行)의 제문(祭文) 연구(硏究) - 호소력의 근원에 대한 탐색 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the source of appealing which Gusadang Kim Nakhaeng's writing for ancestral rites is equipped with. Gusadang was one of the Confucianists in Yeongnam during the 18th century and was praised for his scholarly virtue of jihaenghapil and silcheongunghaeng. Although Gusadang's writing for ancestral rites and his teacher Milam Lee Jaeui's letters were even specially named as 'gujemilchal', there has been almost no research on Gusadang's writing for ancestral rites yet. Therefore, this study selects three pieces of Gusadang's writing for ancestral rites which are especially rich in emotional expression for discussion. Chapter 2 titled as 'the Reconstruction of Memory in a Microscopic Perspective' presents the reason why Gusadang's writing for ancestral rites is recognized even as a piece of work equipped with appealing. Writing for ancestral rites begins from the point that there exists memory that can be shared by both the living and the dead. In reconstructing the anecdote with the dead on the stage of ritual writing in detail, the writer's memory plays an important role. Chapter 3 titled as 'the Rhetorical Reconstruction of Elevated Sensitivity' examines rhetorical devices needed for writing for ancestral rites. Proper rhetoric is needed to upgrade the dignity of the ritual writing and arouse sympathy from the readers. Although writing for ancestral rites is supposed to express sadness in terms of its formal characteristics, it should not end up being a mere outlet of emotion. Chapter 4 looks into 'the Descriptive Reconstruction of Lamenting Sentiment'. There should be a clear focus of description to make the gesture of the living towards the being not existing in the world any longer an appealing story. While maintaining a distinct way of description, Gusadang organizes the noble character of the dead, pitiable death, the precious bond in the past, and the longing of those left for the dead systematically. Writing for ancestral rites is a field to mourn over the death and reproduce the sadness of the living through writing. To make the text written in that way get to work as ritual writing properly, it should be appealing necessarily. This study has found the fact that such appealing that gives life to ritual writing is grounded on authenticity.

  • 빛은 공간의 존재를 인식시키는 조형적 요소로서 사용되면서 시각적 감성을 자극하는 하나의 요소로 다양한 변화를 내포하고 있다. 빛은 다른 공간 요소들과의 상호작용을 통해 새로운 이미지를 형성시키고, 여러 요소와의 다양한 커뮤니케이션의 역할을 부여한다. 즉, 공간에서의 빛은 새로운 조형성과 공간감을 생성하고 조형적인 빛의 요소로 새로운 공간의 의미를 창조하고 변화시키고 있다. 공간에서 빛은 공간을 특화 시키고 감성적 호소력까지 제고하기 위한 주된 수단이 되고 있음에도 불구하고 지금까지 공간에서의 조명효과에 관한 체계적인 연구는 크게 다루어지지 않았다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 도시의 공간에 나타난 빛의 다양한 조형적 표현 특성을 연구함으로써 공간에서 조명의 새로운 활용가치와 가능성을 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 빛을 이용한 미래지향적인 공간으로 탈바꿈시키기 위한 연구를 목적으로 하고자 한다.

  • 선거 로고송은 출마자의 공약을 전달하며, 후보자의 이미지를 대중에게 각인시켜야 한다. 특정 계층에게만 호소력이 있거나, 거부감을 주어서는 안된다. 청중에게 다른 출마자를 비방하는 내용을 담지 않으면서도 상대 출마자와 차별화를 나타낼 수 있어야 하며 신뢰감을 줄 수 있어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 신뢰감의 기준으로 가사전달력을 비교 분석하였다. 역대 선거로고송에 사용되었던 음원 중 신세대 트로트를 선정하여 비교한 결과 평균 49.%였다.

  • Slogan is used widely from the political action to the area of advertisement that brings companies and products out. It gives a good image to the public and customers. In addition, the more the attitude of the public or customers is lukewarm, the more the appeal of the slogan is great. With the advent of the 21st century, it is time for the University where students become consumers to establish a groundbreaking brand identity strategy with increasing the university's brand value and awareness in rapidly changing environment. The UI Emblem of the University is related to University's identity and slogan must be fresh and appealing, should reflect the core values of brand. In this study, I researched the design relationship between emblem and slogan, visual elements of the UI which should be designed as a strategic marketing program with change of era and lifestyle and proposed the ideas which create mutual synergy effect.

  • A good storytelling is essential to make a computer game more immersed and appealing as it impress the players emotion. The Storytelling consists of many factors. Among them, the Plot, or the flow of the story (Story-flow) is significant. The 'Call of Duty' is a successful computer game in the aspect of the story-flow. In this paper, the way to apply traditional theories about the story-flow to this game is analyzed. And an applying policy of traditional story-flow theories to computer games is presented.

Sensibility According to Blouse Type and Their Best-fit Color Tone (블라우스 종류에 따른 감성 및 최적 색채 톤)

  • Sensibilities to the clothing components such as style and color tone of fashion product are considered important to the consumers in fashion industry today. So the combinational study of clothing sensibility and proper end-use style are needed to improve the product refinements in developing process through scientific research method. The purpose of this study is to measure the sensibilities of the blouse type as a clothing component for it is a representative garment of women and to look for the best matching color tone according to blouse type. We surveyed the questionnaire to two hundred college students and found that there was a meaningful relational consistency between blouse type and color tone. Blouses have been told the best if they are of Bright color tone. They preferred Shirt blouse type and Bright color tone best of all. They are fond of Vivid color tone but they think Vivid tone is not so proper to the blouses. Each blouse has 1~2 best-fit color tones, and color sensibility affect the harmony of blouse style and color tone. The sensibilities of blouse type and color tone are deeply correlated each other regardless of subject's major or gender except a few cases.

  • Mobile industry has been progressed rapidly with new mobile technique develpment. The mobile is a communication device for the young generation and give great additional images through animations and characters. It is expected that the mobile industry would elevate greatly in means of the animation characters that is connected directly, closely, and amicably to the sense of humane beings. Of those animations, 3D animation is a high communication technique that rinks to directly the expression of person in way of a sense of space, three dimension, and reality. Surely the new 3D animation will be developed constantly and in various way. It is consideralbe that the manufacture of 3D mobile animation links closely to cartoon that forms concerns of people.

  • As the speed of social change consumers' buying patterns change, with an effective and competitive means of communication is an effort to find ads world. Characters have to maximize its own image, the character font used for the situation fits perfectly expressed in the formative Calligraphy differentiated pay plan as part of Calligraphy is considered. People feel in the hand by writing letters that can not be standardized as a strong symbol and symbolism, and the appeal and beauty, dynamic motion, mystery, and can be expressed. Design disciplines across all areas of Calligraphy extensive coverage, digital coolness of the hard preparation for the soft and warm lyricism analogue availability is required to meet contemporary needs. Media ads that emphasize the use of the Calligraphy emotional representation of the contents of the ads favorable to improve cognitive function, attention, recall of positive affect and, therefore, character-driven emotional expression as an art communications capabilities with one of the media is situated in the heart of the culture.

Emotional Characteristics of Materiality Expressed on Peter Zumthor's Projects (피터 줌터의 건축에 나타나는 물성의 감성적 표현 특성 분석)

  • Even though the importance of emotional aspects in design has been discussed and researched actively, researches mainly focusing on the emotional aspects expressed through architectural materials have been rare. Thus, Previous researches were investigated to draw typical categories to express emotional characteristics through architectural materiality. Case study shows Zumthor's practical methodologies in these state: tectonic expression with creative tectonic methods and local residents' voluntary-participation in construction; enhancement of intimate emotional ties with the local heritage through the usage of local materials and traditional construction techniques; coexistence of past and present materials, and showing the change of materiality via weathering; activation of synesthesia by touching multiple senses; sustainability by using environment friendly materials and construction methods. The results can be hopefully helpful to future researches related to emotional aspects on spatial design.
