Design and verification of VR gamification contents for cooperative thinking (협력적 사고 함양을 위한 VR 게이미피케이션 콘텐츠 설계 및 검증)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of cooperative thinking and communication ability through gamified VR contents. For the experiment, we designed the Forum VR content using gamification approach and validated its effectiveness with a survey tool. The experiment was answered after 63 elementary school students played the Forum VR content. According to the survey results, Forum VR content has positive effects on the development of collaborative spirit and communication skills of elementary school students. Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to study the systematic and technical measures to spread VR contents at educational sites, and to differentiate them according to the characteristics of the curriculum for connecting various educational topics and VR contents.

  • In this research, the PBL program was developed in terms of 'classroom practice ability', 'self-develop ability', and 'teaching profession character' which classroom friendly teachers get ready and was applied to the classroom friendly elementary mathematics teachers for studying the effectiveness of the program. From the result elementary preservice teachers' disposition in terms of thought about mathematics, mathematics learning, and mathematics teaching was changed to the positive direction through the PBL. They could developed their classroom practice ability, self-develop ability, and teaching profession character through application of new knowledge and plan for problem solving and reflection after solving the problems.

  • 컴퓨터기반 협동학습(CSCL)은 컴퓨터를 기반으로 학습자들이 공동체를 형성하고 상호협력관계를 통하여 학습하는 환경으로 학습자가 자신의 능력에 맞게 학습할 수 있고 다른 이들과 생각과 정보를 표현, 교환, 조언, 수정하는 등의 상호작용을 할 수 있다. 이러한 CSCL환경에서 학습자들이 어떤 학습 주제에 대해 주어진 프로젝트를 수행하기 위해 서로간의 생각과 정보를 효과적으로 교환하기 위해서는 그 주제에 속하는 개념들에 대한 용어들이 표준화되어지고, 개념들간의 관련성 및 제약성에 대한 정보들이 미리 정의되어 알려져 있어야만 한다. 그런데, 그러한 정보들을 학습자들이 일일이 파악하기란 매우 힘든 일이다. 이러한 문제는 온톨로지 기술을 이용하여 기계로 하여금 그러한 정보들을 이해하여 처리할 수 있도록 함으로써 해결할 수 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 CAD 분야에서 학습자들이 어떠한 제품을 설계하기 위한 프로젝트를 수행시 서로간의 정보와 의견을 효과적으로 교환함으로써 프로젝트를 보다 효율적으로 수행할 수 있도록 하기 위해 공동의 학습공간을 지원하고 제품 설계에 대한 온톨로지를 구성하여 이를 이용하는 것을 제안한다.

  • A ultimate purpose of education is to develop their ability that learners is able to solve present or future immediate problem well. In order to, the educator checks question settlement conditions and leads steadily, the learner needs various data and information for question settlement, and needs communication with many various people. By the way, WEB becomes the source of various data and information that it is naccesary to solve problem for freedom navigation of internet, because accelerates interaction quality communication needed question settlement process, offers the best studying environment for problem solution drilling. A methodolagical tactics for accelerating learner's question solution activity is helped by small-group action drill. According to, this treatise develops system of question solution drilling with web for a basis by small group action drill, applies the fifth grade it experimentally.

  • It is not easy for the customers to search the valuable information on the goods among countless items available in the Internet. In order to save time and efforts in searching the goods the customers want, it is very important for a recommender system to have a capability to predict accurately customers' preferences. In this paper we present a refined neighbor selection algorithm for clustering based collaborative filtering in recommender systems. The algorithm exploits a graph approach and searches more efficiently for set of influential customers with respect to a given customer; it searches with concepts of weighted similarity and ranked clustering. The experimental results show that the recommender systems using the proposed method find the proper neighbors and give a good prediction quality.

  • The Gifted need the constructivist loaming environments that reflect his or her cognitive and affective characteristics and needs to exert their potential fully. 'Structural Communication'was designed to encourage creative thinking in learners, allowing them to create an understanding of a topic, not simply memorize facts. It is considered in line with constructivist philosophy and cognitive paradigms. The major purpose of this study is to explore 'Web-Based Structural Communication'program to embody the collaborative loaming based on constructivism. It was applied on high school $2\times2$ matrix teaming for the gifted students. Recently developed computer technology, emerging network facilities, and internet enable us to extend the usefulness and efficiency of 'Structural Communication’Especially web provides not only the discussion environment that is free from space and time constraints and characteristics of leasers, but also the experiences of knowledge construction through the collaborative learning. Through the 'Web-based Structural Communication', the gifted will be able to argue, persuade and share their unique ideas and gradually elaborated ill-structured ideas. The gifted will escape from the tunnel vision of the early time and have multiple perspectives that are more objective and logical. As the result, the gifted are expected to acquire the effect of 'the Zone of Proximal Development'that Vygotsky advocated.

Effects of Young Children's Social Development and Picture Representation Ability On Wordless Picture Books Activities (글 없는 그림책 활동이 유아의 그림 표상능력과 사회성 발달에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examined the effects of Children's Social Development and Picture Representation Ability on Wordless Picture Books Activities. The study subjects were 30 children aged 3 years in K kindergarten: 15 in the experimental group and 15 in the comparative group. The experimental group was exposed to Wordless Picture Books Activities for 8 weeks. Image representation ability and social development test were conducted in both groups before and after the study. The after Wordless Picture Books Activities were found to be effective in linking various colors, detailed descriptions, harmonious spatial representations, various shapes, subject-related representations, uniqueness of representations, completeness of figure representations, and language representations. These study results are expected to validate the educational value of the wordless picture books meaningfully as teaching-learning materials in the field of early childhood education.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the perceptions of scientifically gifted middle school students about their engineering design process according to gender and talent division. The instrument in surveying their perceptions about the engineering design process consists of 24 items (Likert 5 point type) five domains: problem definition, information collection and utilization, idea generation, inquiry performance, and teamwork (communication, cooperation, leadership). A total of 102 scientifically gifted students participated in the survey, according to gender (69 males and 33 females) and talent divisions (physics, biological sciences, software, mathematics, space-geological sciences, and chemistry). They had a high level of awareness of their engineering design ability. It is necessary to develop a customized gifted-education program so that their talent in their field of interest can be fully displayed according to the gender and talent division. In addition, the teaching and learning methods and strategies of the engineering design program for the scientifically gifted middle school students should be established to fully reflect the practical needs of the talented.

  • The purpose of this study is to provide a basis for the sustainability of cooperatives, To provide theoretical support for healthy development and academic research. The purpose of this study is to improve people's understanding of cooperatives (farmer professional cooperatives) in China. First of all, we analyze the background and concept of the introduction of cooperatives and the use of the latest advance research in China and South Korea; Secondly, we propose the status of Chinese cooperatives and the growth process of the legal system; Thirdly, we focus on the law and system of Chinese farmer professional cooperatives. Therefore, this study proposes the following four enlightenments : First, China should continue to improve and improve its legal systems, such as the tax assistance legal system, financial preferential legal system, and technical assistance legal system. Secondly, it is necessary to strengthen government supervision of cooperatives, improve the internal system of farmer cooperatives, improve the financing policies of farmer cooperatives, grasp the relationship between development and regulation, and form a development model centered on farmers. Third, the development of farmer cooperatives must be integrated with the local culture. Fourth, we must strengthen the training of cooperative members and strive to improve the level of management and self-innovation.

  • The study started from the point that learners should be basically equipped to quickly respond to changes in demand for future human resources efficiently and effectively, and an attitude to take part in learning voluntarily should thus be cultivated. To this end, the author applied the TAI model based on a module as a class strategy to solve problems related to several classes occurred in specialized high schools. This application of the TAI model was also motivated by the necessity for designing an appropriate teaching-learning method that encourages improvement of self-learning capacity, consistent learning motivation, and willingness rather than external factors. Through this work, the author aims to heighten the interest of learners and improve endurance in learning. The study results are as follows. First, the learning unit was structuralized as a module and then learning stages were proceeded with so that capacity to adapt to learning would improve. The achievement standard (learning goal) was structuralized in a module type by analyzing and reorganizing the textbook considering the link between the actual practice field and a curriculum based on subject characteristics. Through the process of module type learning stages, the student's capacity to ascertain characteristics of units and to adapt to learning both improved. Second, through application of a TAI model based on a module, Self-Directed Learning capacity and capacity to adapt to a new field improved. By applying the module, Self-Directed Learning could be accomplished more effectively than in the existing passive learning environment. By grafting cooperative learning of the TAI model, students had greater interest and achievement in classes, self-confidence and community consciousness, and an opportunity to broaden their thinking. In particular, improvement of self-confidence is effective in cultivating the capacity required in industrial society to transcend the learning of simple functions and knowledge, as well as the capacity to adapt to new environments. Third, by solving tasks focused on fields related to industrial sites, not only actual survey capacity but also additional capacity to identify and solve tasks through various experiences improved. Furthermore, it was helpful for students to have interest and motivation about their own life and learning to cultivate the qualities and capacity to adapt to the working world where new knowledge and technology rapidly change. Fourth, by applying a standard-based assessment system for technical subjects introduced in 2012 to model design for learning plans, clearer and more objective assessment criteria were arranged, and individual learning through instruction at each achievement level could be accomplished. This improved achievement level of individual learners was helpful in reaching achievement goals at specific levels by overcoming the disadvantages of cooperative learning in each group.
