Analysis of Hairdressing Technique Patent Trends (헤어미용 기술에 대한 특허동향 연구)

  • This study classified hairdressing techniques into hairdressing equipment, beauty/care, and styling and investigated current trends in patent applications. In addition, it analyzed what aspects should be concentrated on in terms of future hairdressing techniques and their growth potential. The results found the following: Hairdressing techniques have been on the rise since 1990 in terms of patent activities. In particular, they have been most active in 'electric hairdressing equipment such as hair dryers and hair straighteners. According to analysis of applicants' application trends, technique leaders were different by sector. In hairdressing techniques, in other words, expertise should be developed by sector. It is anticipated that this study would facilitate and expand the hairdressing market by analyzing hairdressing technique patent trends and establishing future directions for R&D in hairdressing techniques.

Effects of Emotional Labor of Hairdresser on Job Burnout and Turnover Intention (헤어 미용사들의 감정노동이 직무소진과 이직의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand how emotional labor of hairdresser effects job burnout and turnover intention. In order to achieve this study, the data is collected from questionnaires distributed to employees of beauty shops of Gwangju and Jeonam using convenience sampling method. A total of 356 questionnaires were used for the research. Survey data is analyzed by SPSS win 21.0 program. The research findings are as follows. First, the emotional labor of hairdresser is classified by the surface action and deep action. Also, job burnout of hairdresser is classified by the emotional exhaustion, reduced personal accomplishment and depersonalization. Second, the effect of emotional labor of hairdressers on job burnout have the significant influence. Third, the effect of emotional labor of hairdressers on turnover intention have the significant influence. Fourth, the effect of job burnout of hairdressers on turnover intention have the significant influence. These results suggest that programs to lower emotional labor should be focused on developments to improve the quality of beauty services.

  • In this study, we tried to investigate the relationship between the cosmetology major student's major satisfaction and the professionals by analyzing the effect of the cosmetology major student's major satisfaction on the beauty professional hall. Research Results It was found that there is a correlation (p <0.001) between the degree of satisfaction of college students in the hair beauty department and the beauty professionals (p <0.001), and the satisfaction of the department is "specialty" t = 4.625 (p =). .000),'Occupational recognition' t = 3.152 (p = .002), major value is'specialty' t = 2.330 (p = .021),'professional activity' t = 2.438 (p = .015), 'Occupation recognition' t = 4.843 (p = .000), university student activity adaptation is a subordinate factor of the cosmetology profession, "professional activity" t = 2.746 (p = .006), "occupation recognition" t = 4.303 ( Appearing as p = .000), it was found that the degree of satisfaction of college students in the hair beauty department has a significant effect on beauty professionals. For cosmetology college students, major satisfaction not only leads to satisfaction with the university and department, but also to self-satisfaction and cosmetology job confidence, allowing them to adapt to social life with a positive impact, and cosmetologists are hair With the values and attitude toward the beauty profession, you will be able to become a professional officer when you are a university student majoring in cosmetology. Through the research results, the formation of a positive professional hall for college students majoring in hair beauty and the satisfaction of the major will be enhanced, and the self-development of students, as well as professors and educational relations, will be established so that beauty professionals can be established through correct theory and practical education. Education and continued guidance on the professional ethics and values of the person is considered necessary.

  • The purpose of this study is to compare the perceptions of hairdressers, hairdressers-to-be, and ordinary people on hairdressers. For this, 286 hairdressers, hairdressers-to-be, and ordinary people residing in Daegu and Gyeongbuk were surveyed and analyzed. The study results are as follows: First, the job preferred by hairdressers is running their own salon. Most of those involved in the beauty industry considered that anyone who has an aesthetic sense can become a hairdresser, the average education level is college, and 5-10 years of experience would be adequate. On the other hand, the majority of the ordinary people thought different. Second, most of the hairdressers thought that professional theoretical knowledge and skills are required for hairdressers and that they have the role of leading beauty. On the other hand, the majority of the hairdressers-to-be and ordinary people considered that what it takes to become hairdressers are design sense and creativity and that they should take the responsibility of cleanliness and service. Meanwhile, all the research subjects shared common ideas that the competence required for hairdressers is skills and female hairdressers are preferred. Third, the most common cause for hairdressers to move from a workplace to another was wage-related issues, and the most answered entry-level salary was between KRW 1 million and 1.5 million and average working hours a day 9-10 hours. Fourth, the research subject groups showed significant differences in their perception of the occupation of hairdresser. The results suggest that although the social perception of hairdressers is improving, ordinary people still need to change their perception.

  • This study was conducted to provide basic data to promote hair beauty service education by identifying the difference in the effect of positive psychological capital on job performance and job satisfaction of hair salon workers. For this purpose, in order to empirically verify the effect of positive psychological capital on job performance and job satisfaction of hair salon workers, 280 people engaged in hair salon workers in Gwangju, Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do were targeted. As a result of the study, positive psychological capital of hair and hair salon workers affects job performance and job satisfaction, and among the sub-factors of positive psychological capital, hope and optimism appear to affect both job performance and job satisfaction. Therefore, in order to strengthen the positive psychological capital of hair salon workers, it is necessary to develop a convergence program development and strategy that can enhance job performance and job satisfaction and apply it to the hair beauty service field.

Analysis of Mistakes Made in Using Loan Words in Domestic Hairstyling-related Academic Papers (국내 헤어 논문 외래어 오류 실태 분석)

  • This study attempted to improve the quality of hairstyling-related studies and provide basic data for future studies on hairstyling terms through analysis of cosmetology-related loan words used in hairstyling theses among recent cosmetology papers. For data collection to derive valid conclusions, the signatures of a total of 1,980 academic papers collected after typing in the keyword 'Hair' at the Research Information Sharing Service (http://www.riss.kr) were analyzed. The results show that researchers in hairstyling seem not to pay close attention to the correct use of foreign loan words. Therefore, the study results would be very helpful to the development of future cosmetology studies. The correct notation and use of foreign loanwords should be further encouraged.

  • As the importance of national technical qualifications for hairdressers to verify qualifications and skills as a professional is increasing, it is time to improve achievement motivation and job attitudes through research on job attitudes perceived by hair designers toward hair practical tasks. As a result of studying the effect on the job attitude of a hairstylist working in a hair salon, it was found that blow-drying induced the hairstylist's job efficacy among the practical tasks for the hairdresser's hair national technology certification, and scalp scaling and shampoo were the job of the hairstylist. was found to induce satisfaction. Based on the research results, it is possible to present a variety of practical certification tasks with practicality that can be usefully applied to customers in various techniques in the beauty industry, rather than unrealistic practical techniques limited only to wigs. We want to induce improvement. In addition, I believe that this study will provide basic data for the development of various practical tasks to improve the achievement motivation of hair designers.

  • The Hair part of Cosmetology is development with Ubiquitous age. In this paper, 1 would design and implement for Ubiquitous Hair Changing on Ubiquitous network. Hair artist have customer's features in use digital camera for operating hair beauty. They are agree with hair design and style in monitor on internet at customer's choose in digital contents of cut, permanent, up-style, dye, long hair from web server. After operation on customer's hair from image of mobile terminal, hair artists take a photograph of customer's face and update it on internet. Customer's features was saved in her's mobile terminal. I would contribute to development of Beauty Information Society that the design of Ubiquitous Hair Changing System and the implement of digital hair contents that on-line internet system Sl mobile terminal were applied by Ubiquitous Network.

A Study on the Effects of Empowerment Perception Level on Job Satisfaction of Hairdresser (헤어 미용사들의 지각된 임파워먼트가 직무만족에 미치는 영향)

  • This study attempted to determine differences between the perceived empowerment level and job satisfaction depending on hairdressers' demographic characteristics and analyze the effects of their empowerment on job satisfaction. For this, a total of 310 hairdressers in Gwangju-Jeonnam and Seoul-Gyeonggi-do were chosen through convenience sampling, and then a questionnaire survey was conducted. The valid 277 copies were used for final analysis. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, factor analysis, reliability analysis, t-test, ANOVA, Duncan's test, and multiple regression analysis were conducted using SPSS 15.0. The study results found the following: First, in terms of the subordinate factors of empowerment, the following four factors were found: meaningfulness, self-determination, competence, and impact. Second, depending on demographic characteristics (e.g., age, career, type of beauty salon, job title, punch-in time, monthly pay), a statistically significant difference was found between empowerment and job satisfaction (p<.01). Third, hairdressers' perceived empowerment level had a positive impact on job satisfaction (p<.01). In terms of the empowerment on job satisfaction by sub-factor, 'self-determination' was largest, followed by 'meaningfulness' and 'competence.' Therefore, beauty salon owners need to manage their business more efficiently by converging cosmetology and business management by expanding empowerment among hairdressers properly after recognizing the importance of hairdresser empowerment.

  • This study is hair salon satisfaction and self-efficacy in major college students preparing course is to identify the factors that affect the action. The subjects of the study were 173 male and female college students attending the College of Hair and Beauty in G region from March 10 to 25, 2021, and 150 of them were finally SPSS.It used the WIN 22.0 program. First, it has been verified that the satisfaction of hair and beauty college students' majors directly affects career preparation behavior. Second, the hair salon for preparatory actions in the course of major college student satisfaction and self-efficacy turned out to be a very important influence. Third, action represents a direct impact on career preparation is college student's hair salon self-efficacy and research to do significant impact. Based on the results of this study, students with high satisfaction with their majors suggest that they are preparing for a systematic professional life for career preparation when they are self-efficacy in college.
