Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the influence of hope, core beliefs, and social support on the posttraumatic growth of mothers with chronically ill children. Methods: In this study, 94 mothers who gave written consent completed the questionnaires between July 21 and July 31, 2012 when they visited a university hospital in Seoul, Korea. Data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression. Results: Hope, core belief and social support had positive correlations with posttraumatic growth. Models including these variables explained 64.8% (F=55.276, p<.001) of the variance for posttraumatic growth. Hope (${\beta}$=.441, p<.001) was the most influential factor. Conclusion: The findings demonstrate that it is essential for nurses to mediate and facilitate posttraumatic growth of mothers caring for chronically ill children. Furthermore, there is an need to develop and implement new strategies in clinical practice that will result in improvements in posttraumatic growth.

사업장에 우수한 안전문화를 정착시키기 위한 필수요소는 무엇일까. 근로자들의 적극적인 참여, 원활한 노사관계, 경영진의 확고한 의지, 선진 안전기술 및 기업 등 다양한 요소가 있다. 이 모두가 무재해 사업장을 만드는 기본 틀이지만 그중에서도 '경영진의 안전의지'는 단연 사업장 안전활동의 성패를 결정짓는 핵심 요건이라고 할 수 있다. 실제 우수한 안전관리 체계가 갖추어진 사업장들을 보면, 공통적으로 경영진이 안전보건에 높은 관심을 가지고 있음을 확인할 수 있다. 지난해 말 열린 안전경영대상에서 최고상인 종합대상의 영예를 차지한 한국가스공사 인천기지본부 역시 이런 특징을 갖고 있다. 본부의 총책임자인 유두현 본부장이 굳건한 안전 신념으로 사업장 전반의 안전관리를 진두지휘하고 있는 것이다. 유 본부장을 만나 그의 경영방침과 철학 등에 대해 들어봤다.

오륜은 지난 1989년 설립 이래 지금까지 지속 성장을 거듭하고 있는 대표적인 강소(强小)기업이다. 이 전남 여수의 작은 기업이 어떻게 200여 명의 사원을 거느린 탄탄한 중견기업으로 성장할 수 있었을까. 이에 대한 해답은 '경영자의 높은 안전의식'에서 찾을 수 있다. 오륜의 창업자이자 현 경영자인 이기동 대표는 국내 주요 화학회사에서 근무를 하며 IFP공정 등 화학전문과정을 수료한 화학공정전문가로, 설립 초기부터 안전을 경영의 핵심가치로 내세웠다. 기업의 지속 성장을 위해서는 반드시 안전이 뒷받침 돼야한다는 것이 그의 철학이었다. 이런 이대표의 굳은 신념에 따라 오륜은 체계적인 안전관리시스템을 구축하고, 이를 바탕으로 기술력을 향상시켜나갔다. 그리고 그 결과 삼성SDI 등 국내 굴지기업들의 협력사이자 삼성전자의 주력 제품에 부품을 공급하는 핵심 기업으로 거듭났다. 또한 이 대표는 올해 대한산업안전협회로부터 감사패를 수여 받는 등 안전문화 확산에 대한 높은 공로를 대내외에서 인정받았다. 안전경영의 표본으로 올라선 이기동 대표를 찾아 그의 경영방침과 안전철학에 대해 들어봤다.

The This study aimed at clarifying that the cognitive interpretation code is essential for college students to read the correct culture while discussing the producer's story production system for creative advertising content and the process of interpreting the meaning of advertisers and the formation of principles and beliefs. The production of advertising content aimed at persuasion should first identify anachronistic reason system based on the target audience's perception principle. A concise analysis of the experiment found key clues that confirmed that a sample of the producer's intended story would be inconsistent with the clues of information that a college student could remember. I have tried to organize a semantic analysis tool that combines these key clues and as a tool for reading culture of the right time for college students. As a result, university student inmates were able to identify one side of positive communication: reading a new cognitive symbol culture based on their subjective experience and beliefs, rather than analyzing cross-sectional analysis of the primary language and non-verbal expressions of their advertising contents. In the future, if an advertising content story producer works to identify such a process in advance, it will help persuade inmates.

In Europe, the diversity in religions, cultures, languages and historical backgrounds is enormous. World War II and the Soviet Regime have played a large part in this and the flow of refugees from other continents increases the pluralism. How can religious education add to bridging between differences? The language across European countries is different, literally between countries, but also figuratively speaking and even inside individual countries. These differences occur in cultural sense and across age groups as well. Secondary education has the task to form young people to become firmly rooted people who can hold their own in society. It is essential that they learn to examine their own core values and their roots. Recognising their values should be a main focus of religious education. However, schools are currently accommodating increasing numbers of non-religious pupils. What role do religious values still play in this situation? How do pupils feel about active involvement in religious institutions, and about basing life choices on religious beliefs? Can other, non-religious values be detected which could form the basis for value-oriented personal formation? Research of these subjects has been ongoing in the Netherlands for more than twenty years and is currently being expanded to the Czech Republic and(former East) Germany. These are also secularized countries but have a very different history. Does the history and context of these countries play a role, and does this show in the values that are important to pupils? A comparative pilot study is being conducted as start of this broadening perspective geared towards greater insight into the values of pupils in these three European countries. This information helps to design appropriate new forms of religious value-oriented worldview education.

Q 방법은 인간의 태도와 행동을 연구하기 위해 철학적, 심리학적, 통계적, 그리고 심리측정과 관련된 개념을 통합한 방법론으로서 인간의 주관성을 정량적으로 분석할 수 있는 특수한 통계기법이다. 소비자의 인식, 가치, 태도, 신념과 같은 개념을 객관적으로 연구할 수 있는 방법으로서 가설 생성을 위한 탐색적 연구와 이론의 검증과 같은 확인적 연구에서도 적용될 수 있다. 많은 수의 표본을 대상으로 한 횡단적 R 방법에 비하여 개인이나 소집단에 대한 깊이 있는 탐구가 가능하다는 점에서 소비자 행동 연구에 유용성이 매우 높다. 개인의 주관성을 바탕으로 한 소비자 개인의 특성과 차별성을 이해하는 것이 마케팅 분야의 핵심을 이루고 있음에도 불구하고 그 동안 소비자의 주관성에 대한 깊이 있는 접근이 이루어지지 못하였다. 1935년에 심리학 분야에서 개발된 Q방법은 이를 분석할 수 있는 컴퓨터 패키지의 보급과 더불어 사회과학 전반에 걸쳐 그 활용이 확산되어 가고 있다. 이에 Q 방법의 과학철학적 특성과, 현재 널리 이용되고 있는 변수 중심의 R 방법과의 차이, 그리고 컴퓨터 분석을 포함한 구체적인 Q 분석방법 및 관리적 활용상의 문제점에 대해 논의하였다

Motivated reasoning refers to biased reasoning that is affected by motivation to achieve a particular result or goal. In this study, we attempted a theoretical study on motivated reasoning that hinders the development of scientific thinking and empirical study on actual context of motivated reasoning in the research experiences of next-generation Korean researchers in the field of science and technology. To be specific, literature reviews were conducted to explore the psychological meaning of motivated reasoning and its negative impact on scientific thinking and science research. To understand the substantial meaning and context of motivated reasoning in the field of real science and technology research, we conducted in-depth interviews with eight graduate students and one young science and technology researcher. As a result of the literature reviews, we found out that motivated reasoning can interfere with the proper theory and data coordination, which is the core process of scientific thinking at the individual level. At the socio-cultural level, it can lead to cessation of constructing scientific knowledge and it can act as a mechanism in the process of using science for specific socio-cultural beliefs or purposes, thereby hindering the development of science and technology based on rationale and objective scientific thinking. Quantitative analysis with in-depth interview data showed that graduate students and the young researcher's experienced motivated reasoning results in trying to protect prior beliefs, make hasty conclusions, protecting socio-cultural belief or rationalizing decisions made by their community. Their motivated reasoning could become an obstacle in constructing valid science and technology knowledge through appropriate theory and evidence coordination. Based on these findings we discussed science education for improving scientific thinking.

The purpose of this study is to figure out the movements of policy actors in the policy process of the establishment of a local cultural foundation in B-gu(district), A-si (city), then to explore the way to contract out of the management of public libraries to the cultural foundation in the policy process. Data for the study were collected from various sources from newspapers and assembly minutes to blogs and SNS messages of the policy actors, then analysed based on Advocacy Coalition Framework (ACF). The results showed that 'agreement of contract-out' coalition only accepted public interest of the public libraries between the public interest and specialty of librarianship which were insisted by 'disagreement of contract-out' coalition's policy beliefs. The comparison between this case and a similar policy case showed that the specialty of librarianship as a core belief is effective in changing the beliefs of other coalition. Eventually, it is required to differentiate and to specialize library services among public services in a local area in order to keep the direct management of public libraries by the local government, and this means that everyday library services influence the decision making of library policies in the local area.

활자 종주국 국민답게 많은 사람들이 현존 세계최고의 금속활자본을 묻는 질문에 어렵지 않게 1377년 발간된 '직지심체요절'이라고 답을 한다. 하지만 세계 최고의 금속활자본을 발간한 나라가 근대 인쇄의 핵심이 되는 서체를 1980년 즈음에 이르러서야 본격적으로 개발하기 시작했다는 사실을 아는 이들은 많지 않다. 특히나 해방 직후에도 계속해서 일본이 판매하는 활자를 그대로 쓸 만큼 인쇄 종주국 대한민국은 서체개발에 있어 후진국이었다. 하지만 2002년 현재 우리는 2000여 가지가 넘는 다양한 서체를 보유하고 있다. 20여년만에 이룩한 장족의 발전 밑바닥엔 알아주지 않지만 신념 하나로 서체 개발에 매달렸던 이들의 노력이 있었다. 1949년 공병우 박사의 3벌식 타자기부터 일본의 서체에 대항해 우리의 서체를 지켜내고 세계가 함께 쓰는 다국적어 서체를 개발해 내고 있는 글꼴 9단들과 또 다른 서체 중독자들을 길러내기 위해 교단을 누비는 이들의 힘겨운 이야기를 들어보자.
