This study is to develop a curriculum for training workers in the port logistics field. NSC is a standardized method improving the capability and knowledge scientifically and systematically in order for individual to carry out its own job and task successfully. To develop a curriculum for workers in the port logistics field, the following methodology is used. First, questionnaire is carried out. Second, a MECE method is used to draw out a proper education programme. This study can contribute to improving the job capability of employers working at the port logistics industry. Further, it can improve firms' competitive power and furthermore national competitive edge by introducing the filed-oriented training programme to port logistics industry. In the future, a developed education is to be applied and evaluated through more intensified industry, academy, research linkage.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of student-generated questions (SGQs) partially applied in a pathology course on learning motivation, communication abilities, and problem-solving skills in nursing students. A one-group pretest-posttest design was employed to conduct this study with 106 nursing students taking the pathology course in a university-setting. Data were analyzed using a Wilcoxon signed-rank test in SPSS version 20. The results showed that communication and problem-solving skills were significantly improved at the end of the semester compared to the beginning. The findings imply that SGQs could be an effective means to improve nursing students' skills of communication and problem solving. To equip nursing students with such core competencies, teaching-learning methods combined various strategies should be developed and applied to nursing education.

A higher quality level is generally perceived by customers as improved performance by assigning a correspondingly higher satisfaction score. The third generation index $C_{pmk}$ is more powerful than two useful indices $C_p$ and $C_{pk}$ that have been widely used in six sigma industries to assess process performance. In actual manufacturing industries, process capability analysis often entails characterizing or assessing processes or products based on more than one engineering specification or quality characteristic. Since these characteristics are related, it is a risky undertaking to represent the variation of even a univariate characteristic by a single index. Therefore, the desirability of using vector-valued process capability index(PCI) arises quite naturally. In this paper, we consider more powerful vector-valued process capability index $C_{pmk}$ = ($C_{pmkx}$, $C_{pmky}$)$^t$ that consider the univariate process capability index $C_{pmk}$. First, we examine the process capability index $C_{pmk}$ and plug-in estimator $\hat{C}_{pmk}$. In addition, we derive its asymptotic distribution and variance-covariance matrix $V_{pmk}$ for the vector valued process capability index $C_{pmk}$. Under the assumption of bivariate normal distribution, we study asymptotic confidence regions of our vector-valued process capability index $C_{pmk}$ = ($C_{pmkx}$, $C_{pmky}$)$^t$.

Since mid-1990s, demands for programmer have been decreasing, and the experts of planning IT strategy and solving overall management issues with IT have been increasingly needed. IS experts would have many different types of job as time passes, and they need variety of job competencies to meet their career paths. The purpose of this study is to investigate the potential careers to suit MIS major and the needed skills in that field to develop MIS Curriculum. We asked to the personnel working in the IS organization and user departments to evaluate the current MIS curriculum of 4 year colleges in Korea and to let us know what jobs are the most important for them, what the core job competencies for them are. The results of study show that there are several courses the users and IS experts regard as core courses: Introduction to Management, Project Management, Introduction to MIS, DBMS, ERP, Systems Development Methodology, and IS Strategy Planning. IS experts regard the data and application integration, IT evaluation and strategic planning as the important jobs, and the most important job competency to conduct those jobs is the category of interpersonal skills, and business management knowledge, IT skills are succeeded.

This is an empirical study with the purpose of analyzing the effects of interpersonal relationship skills and social support on adaptation to college life targeting freshmen. For the objective and questions of this study, 268 freshmen of D University located in Gyeonggi-do were selected and a survey was carried out. The collected survey data were analyzed using factor analysis, reliability analysis, frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, correlation and regression analysis with the SPSS program. The results of this study are as follows. First, there was a significant positive correlation among interpersonal relations, social support and adaptation to college life. Second, the factors, forming initial relationships, claiming rights, mental support and dealing with interpersonal conflicts in interpersonal relations, had a significant effect on adaptation to college life. Third, in the area of social support, family support, friend support and instructor support had a significantly positive effect on adaptation to college life. This indicates that interpersonal relations and social support by family, friends and instructors play an important role in adapting to the new environment of college, so it is necessary to develop and adopt various programs that foster interpersonal relation ability for college students to adapt smoothly to college life.

This study aimed to examine the effect of selected factors on confidence in nursing performance among new operating room nurses, with a focus on the mediating effect of learning flow. Data was collected from July to August 2019 using structured questionnaires. The participants were 250 new operating room nurses from university hospitals located in Incheon and Gyeonggi. The collected data was analyzed using the IBM SPSS Statistics 25.0 and AMOS 24.0. Structural equation modeling was performed to examine the effect of the selected factors namely web-based video programs on confidence in nursing performance, and the mediating effect of learning flow. Results: The factors of 'hygiene & safety' and 'patient care' from the web-based video programs had a positive effect on the learning flow. The higher the learning flow of the nurses, the greater their confidence in nursing performance. Just the 'hygiene & safety' factor significantly increased nursing performance. Conclusion: The study results suggest that new nurses perceive that 'hygiene & safety' is an important factor in building their confidence in nursing performance, even without the learning flow. Therefore, it is necessary to develop web-based video programs based on nurses' needs and to emphasize the importance of postoperative care.

Even though it is expected the industry on new media contents will be grown constantly, corporate feels that the related specialists, human resources are so lack and it is real that the specialty level on related personnel, skilled works is low. In current situation, it is essential that the active supports will be given to new media contents industry with constant high quality human resource development as a winning point to success. Therefore the curriculum development must be reflected the current field situation in this industry for the human resource to meet the field corporate requirements. The DACUM method is used to develop the curriculum on this study in order to develop the college level human resources who have active adoptability to corporate in new media contents industry.

This research aimed to investigate the benefits of incorporating Problem-Based Learning(PBL) approach in Business English classes in a Korean university. This study focused on student experiences of learning in a PBL environment. The study examined the feasibility of cultivating students' key job competencies, that of their learning achievement and their satisfaction with the PBL approach. Data on student experiences were gathered from questionnaires. The analysis of the data showed, first, that the PBL could cultivate students' key job competencies. Second, the PBL could have a positive effect on students' acquisition of business content knowledge and their English language development. Third, the PBL approach achieved above moderate level of student satisfaction.

VTM is regarded as a core element in e-Navigation under developing by IMO. IMO's e-Navigation aims for VTM which could provide more navigational information for ships and provide more active VTS services for safe and efficient marine traffic environment. To be successful for VTM under e-Navigation, VTS operator's experience and ability for carrying out VTM tasks are essential. In this study, Decision-making support system for VTS operators are designed conceptually which support VTS operators' VTM tasks by providing informations on traffic risk, and predicted behaviour of ships. This paper describes a designed system with design concept, main functions, main elements and necessary technologies to be developed.

Facial expressions decide an image for the individual, and the ability to interpret emotion from facial expressions is the core of human relations, hence recognizing emotion through facial expression is important enough to change attitude and decisions between individuals within social relations. Children with unstable attachment development, seniors, autistic group, ADHD children and depression group showed low performance results in facial expression recognizing ability tasks, and active interventions with such groups anticipates possibilities of prevention and therapeutic effects for psychological disabilities. The quantified figures that show detailed change in position of lips, eyes and cheeks anticipates for possible applications in diverse fields such as human sensibility ergonomics, korean culture and art contents, therapeutical and educational applications to overcome psychological disabilities and as methods of non-verbal communication in the globalizing multicultural society to overcome cultural differences.
