Virtual Nail Art Using Nail Detection (손톱 검출을 이용한 가상 네일아트)

  • This paper proposes a nail detection algorithm using OpenPose and implements virtual nail art using it. Based on the key points detected by OpenPose, the finger area is detected using skin color characteristics for each finger. The nail region is detected from the edge image of the detected finger region. Then, a virtual nail art is implemented by synthesizing nail tips in the nail area. In a somewhat controlled shooting environment, simulation results show that the proposed algorithm detects nail areas well and implements virtual nail art well.

  • 자동 음성 인식(Automatic Speech Recognition, ASR)은 컴퓨터가 인간의 음성을 텍스트로 변환하는 기술이다. 자동 음성 인식 시스템은 다양한 응용 분야에서 사용되며, 음성 명령 및 제어, 음성 검색, 텍스트 트랜스크립션, 자동 음성 번역 등 다양한 작업을 목적으로 한다. 자동 음성 인식의 노력에도 불구하고 노인 음성 인식(Elderly Speech Recognition, ESR)에 대한 어려움은 줄어들지 않고 있다. 본 연구는 노인 음성 인식에 콘포머(Conformer)와 피쳐 퓨전 모듈(Features Fusion Module, FFM)기반 노인 음성 인식 모델을 제안한다. 학습, 평가는 VOTE400(Voide Of The Elderly 400 Hours) 데이터셋으로 한다. 본 연구는 그동안 잘 이뤄지지 않았던 콘포머와 퓨전피쳐를 사용해 노인 음성 인식을 위한 딥러닝 모델을 제시하였다는데 큰 의미가 있다. 또한 콘포머 모델보다 높은 수준의 정확도를 보임으로써 노인 음성 인식을 위한 딥러닝 모델 연구에 기여했다.

  • 본 논문에서는 데이터-드리븐 기법을 이용해 가상환경에서 사용자의 동작에 따라 아바타의 저글링 움직임을 자연스럽게 처리할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 사용자의 저글링 동작 정보를 이용하여 아바타의 움직임을 제어할 뿐만 아니라 가상 공의 궤적을 실시간으로 표현할 수 있다. 이 과정에서 사용자의 손위치 정보를 모두 활용하는 것이 아닌, 한 쪽 손의 데이터를 기반으로 다른 쪽 손의 궤적을 합성한다. 또한 계산량이 큰 물리 기반 최적화 과정이 아닌, 상대적으로 경량화된 기법인 포물선 운동을 활용해 가상 공의 궤적으로 실시간으로 표현할 수 있는 결과를 보여준다.

This Paper has been realized to optimal algorithm and designing of a circuit connection controller by multi-processor to pre-stage for the development of ICS. The H/W is composed able to remote control to circuit connector with the several slave processor and a processor for master, and this has taken possible through without any obstacle to communication circuits of a control signal by FSK system. The S/W make possible monitoring for communication condition of other circuits by means of a serial communication system by the multi-processing. This paper has been studied for connecting to a circuits wished to rapidly and precisely by the full application to a interrupt technique. A technique to control by remote to a number of transceiver is a way increasing to application for a frequency resource of the limited MF/SF, VHF and the existing radio communication technique. According to, this paper will achieve to be the reduction of energy & equipment and multiplicity of information delivery in the general communication and disposal to rapid and exact for the important communication as distress, urgency and safety on the sea.

A 16 bit FPGA Microprocessor for Embedded Applications (실장제어 16 비트 FPGA 마이크로프로세서)

  • SoC(System on Chip) technology is widely used in the field of embedded systems by providing high flexibility for a specific application domain. An important aspect of development any new embedded system is verification which usually requires lengthy software and hardware co-design. To reduce development cost of design effort, the instruction set of microprocessor must be suitable for a high level language compiler. And FPGA prototype system could be derived and tested for design verification. In this paper, we propose a 16 bit FPGA microprocessor, which is tentatively-named EISC16, based on an EISC(Extendable Instruction Set Computer) architecture for embedded applications. The proposed EISC16 has a 16 bit fixed length instruction set which has the short length offset and small immediate operand. A 16 bit offset and immediate operand could be extended using by an extension register and an extension flag. We developed a cross C/C++ compiler and development software of the EISC16 by porting GNU on an IBM-PC and SUN workstation and compared the object code size created after compiling a C/C. standard library, concluding that EISC16 exhibits a higher code density than existing 16 microprocessors. The proposed EISC16 requires approximately 6,000 gates when designed and synthesized with RTL level VHDL at Xilinix's Virtex XCV300 FPGA. And we design a test board which consists of EISC16 ROM, RAM, LED/LCD panel, periodic timer, input key pad and RS-232C controller. 11 works normally at 7MHz Clock.

  • In this study, a poly (amino acid)s derivative grafted with retinoic acids, which could form self-assemblies in an aqueous solution, was successfully synthesized. The synthesized amphiphilic poly (amino acid)s were controlled with 5, 10, 30 mol% substitution of retinoic acid. Then, the amphiphilic poly (amino acid)s were self-assembled by inter/intra molecular stacking of retinoic acids in an aqueous solution. Also, the increasing the degree of substitution (DS) of retinoic acids decreased the size of self-assembled nanoparticles and induced structural transition to bilayer structure from spherical structure. The retinol was stably encapsulated into a core of self-assembled nanoparticle with 10 mol% of DS. This strategy to prepare the self-assemblies of amphiphilic polyaspartamide will serve to improve the efficiency of targeted delivery for a functional cosmetic with various biological modalities.

Flexural Performance and Cracking Resistance of Continuous Composite Slab using Micro Steel Fibers (마이크로 강섬유 콘크리트를 적용한 연속 합성슬래브의 휨 및 균열 저항성능)

  • In the present study, to enhance the constructability, a composite slab system using deck plate and micro steel fiber concrete was studied. In the proposed slab system, on-situ re-bar placement is not required. Steel fibers replace the temperature reinforcement. The present study focused on the crack control at the slab top in the continuous composite slab without spliced bars. Eight continuous slabs with various parameters were tested under vertical loading. The test parameters were the amount and types of micro steel fibers, types of deck plate, and the use of top bars in the continuous slab. To evaluate the crack resistance of the slabs, crack widths were measured in the continuous slabs. The test results showed that although the top spliced bars were not used, cracking were restrained by large flexural stiffness of the composite sections.

Improvement of UV Photoluminescence of Hydrogen Plasma Treated ZnO Nanowires (수소 플라즈마 처리된 산화 아연 나노선의 자외선 발광 특성향상)

  • ZnO nanowires were synthesized by vapor-liquid-solid (VLS) process using ZnO and graphite powders on the sapphire substrate coated with an Au film as a catalyst. ZnO nanowires had two prominent emission bands; i) near-band edge (NBE) emission band at 380 nm, and ii) a relatively stronger deep level (DL) emission band ($I_{NBE}/I_{DL}$ <1). In order for the ZnO nanowires to be utilized as an effective material for UV emitting devices, the photoluminescence intensity of NBE needs to be improved with the decreased intensity of DL. In the current study, hydrogen plasma treatment was performed to improve the photoluminescence characteristics of ZnO nanowires. With the hydrogen plasma treatment time of more than 120 sec, the extent of performance improvement was gradually decreased. However, the intensity ratio of NBE to DL ($I_{NBE}/I_{DL}$) was significantly improved to about 4 with a relatively short plasma treatment time of 90 sec, suggesting hydrogen plasma treatment is a promising approach to improve the photoluminescence properties of ZnO nanowires.

  • In this paper, we propose the low sldelobe digital doppler filter bank design algorithm which is practically applicable to coherent radar equipment in complex air-defense system. Using the proposed algorithm, we can obtain a digital doppler filter bank of lower peak sidelobe level and higher clutter suppression capability. In this method, it is possible to achieve higher target-detectability without loss of Target SNR. The proposed algorithms are verified by simulations and experiments.

  • In the era of energy climate, IGCC technology is one of the powerful solutions for the demands of new energy with low carbon green growth. The present study is conducted to investigate the combustion characteristics of syngas from the coal gasifier to predict problems when it is fed to the gas turbine. Through high and low combustion tests, we understood that hydrogen is the main reason of NOx emission but easily controled by injecting the dilution of nitrogen. CO emission of syngas was comparable with that of methane and pressure fluctuation of syngas was not significant. The data from this study will be used for the optimization of combustion in the Korea first IGCC plant in 2015.
