An analysis on the Factors of the Consumption Expenditure on K-beauty Service Industry (K-beauty 서비스산업 소비지출의 영향요인 분석)

  • This study aims to propose for the K-beauty industry by analyzing the consumption situation. The data used the household trend survey and GDP from 06' to 16' provided by the National Statistical Office. The analysis results of the influencing factors of expenditure on the K-beauty service industry per household resulted in the increase of expenditure on hair and beauty services and their goods when ordinary income decreased, it was possible to understand the similarities between the change of Engel's coefficient. It was difference in the proportion of consumption of beauty services account by income quintiles.The increase of the GNI had an effect on that of the consumption of K-beauty. The above results show that beauty service industry is relevant to the items of households' income and expenditure. Plans are needed to take into account national economic trends and consumption patterns.

  • 최근 국내시장에 판매되고 있는 막걸리의 종류는 매우 다양하며, 주류시장에서도 큰 수입원으로 부각되고 있다. 또한 국내뿐 만아니라 해외수출 비중도 높아지고 있으며, 주류관련 기업에서는 고급화 전략으로 마케팅을 하고 있다. 막걸리와 더불어 상품화 비중이 높아지고 있는 기능성 주류는 미용, 건강, 갈증해소 등 다양한 효능을 가지고 있으나, 일반적인 주류의 홍보에 비해 상대적으로 미비한 상태이다. 본 연구의 일부분으로 제작되는 막걸리는 피부미용, 면역력 강화, 뇌기능 개선 등의 효과를 갖는 감태를 주성분으로 하여 제조한 기능성 주류이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 감태를 이용한 기능성 막걸리의 제조과정과 막걸리의 특성을 파악한 효과적인 홍보 방안을 위한 콘텐츠 설계 및 개발에 대한 제안한다.

A Study on the Effect on the Satisfaction of Pet Hospital (반려동물병원의 이용만족에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 )

  • This study was conducted to determine the effect on the satisfaction of pet hospital. For this research, the study was conducted on customers who raise dogs and cats nationwide and use pet hospital. Specialties, human factors, efficiency, physical factors, and pet satisfaction were derived from factors that affect pet hospital use satisfaction. Human factors included three factors as veterinarian, staff, and pet hairdressers, and regression analysis was performed. Research shows that professional, efficiency, and physical factors have a positive (+) effect on user satisfaction, veterinarians and staff, which are detailed factors of human factors, have a positive (+) effect on user satisfaction, and pet hairdressers do not. Overall, it was analyzed that it affects the satisfaction of use in the order of efficiency, professionalism, staff, veterinarian, pet satisfaction, and physical factors. This study is meaningful in that it divided human factors into occupational groups and developed and analyzed pet satisfaction factors as factors that affect pet hospital use satisfaction, and it is expected that pet hospital can help establish strategies to improve customer satisfaction.

  • This study examined the concept and characteristics of grotesque painting and its history and presented body painting convergence designs using paintings of each age as basic data on creative and unique body painting design. For the purpose, this study theoretically examined the concepts, characteristics and expressing techniques of grotesque and body painting, analysed images of grotesque paintings in each age and represented convergence body painting based on the results. As a result, it was discovered that paintings including grotesque paintings provided infinite imagination and diverse themes for body painting artists. It means that artistic works can work efficiently for future body painting design. Also, it is expected that they will inspire those who want to study them more academically and in an organized way and body painting will have an independent area in art.

The Effect of Hair Shop Brand Trust on Loyalty Behavior and the Moderating Effect of Brand Awareness (헤어숍 브랜드신뢰가 충성행동에 미치는 영향과 브랜드 인지정도의 조절효과)

  • This study is a study on the relationship between brand trust in beauty companies leading to consumer loyalty behavior. This study investigated the importance of brand trust and verified the moderating effect of brand awareness. The subjects of the survey were consumers with experience in using hair beauty services, and a self-written survey was conducted from December 15, 2019 to December 30, 2019. A total of 288 copies of response data were used for analysis, and the SPSS 21.0 statistical package program was used. Hairshop brand trust was classified into professionalism, favorability, and honesty. As a result of the analysis, professionalism had a significant effect on economic loyalty behavior, and honesty had a significant effect on economic loyalty behavior and social loyalty behavior. Favorability did not show an influence relationship. As a result of verifying the moderating effect of brand awareness, it was found that professionalism and honesty play a moderating effect in the influence relationship between social loyalty behaviors. This study aims to provide an effective direction to stably establish the relationship between the brand trust and customer relationship of the hair shop in a rapidly changing competitive environment.

A Study on the Beauty Culture of Chosun Period Appearing in Korean Genre Painting (조선후기 풍속화에 나타난 미용문화의 특성)

  • The purpose of this study is to consider the characteristics of beauty culture in the latter period of Chosun Dynasty from the viewpoint of public morals and find out how characteristic beauty culture was developed along with traditional culture. Therefore, the clothes, the make-up, the style of beard and hair were examined and the beauty culture of women in the latter period Chosun Dynasty was considered. The changes of the beauty culture on the genre painting and the characteristics of the latter period Chosun Dynasty were analyzed. Conclusions are as follows ;First, in case of woman dress, the Korean Jergori was short and the Chima was too long. Due to the diversification of wearing, the underpants play as a decorations. Second, the hair which focus on the cleanness and the sanitation and the skin maintenance method were important. The make-up focus on make-up with powder which emphasis on the slim and round eyebrow, the small and thick lips for the beauty look of the latter period Chosun Dynasty. Third, a unmarried woman did the braids('Taun Muri') and a feme covert did 'Unseen Muri'. As people cling to the big and head of hairs gradually, the chignon('Terae Muri') was in fashion. The beauty culture in the latter period of Chosun Dynasty clothes and cosmetic treatment style were generalized through nobility, common people, lowly people. The imitation mentality which follow after Gisaeng style that led the fashion of that period was shown up. With understanding the beauty culture of the latter period of Chosun Dynasty, the study on the traditional beauty culture should be revitalized. This study help to uplift the pride on Korea traditional culture and to promote the globalization of Korean culture.

  • As fashion is a visual symbol that reflects age and culture, cosmetics and beauty are other products of fashion that move the time. A dominant designer of 20th century Chanel does not merely stand for a design innovation of fashion industry that created a vogue. With liberation from corsets that cruelly exaggerated and suppressed female body, meaning of style in modern fashion could be found not only in clothing but also in make-up and hair style. Simplest possible comfort was aimed for, and philosophical concepts of minimalism, modernism and dandyism were incorporated with clothing, cosmetics, perfume, make-up and hair style to establish aesthetical concept of total fashion. Chanel thought of cosmetics as an accessory with essential role and although her philosophy on cosmetics and beauty is not as well known as her clothing style, the authors believe that understanding such philosophy will become an important stepping stone for accurately understanding Chanel style. The purpose of this study is to firstly illuminate the idea that cosmetic beauty can be studied with artistic and philosophical background in addition to its functional side and to secondly investigate the reason why Chanel style is being loved by women with such durability over time and space and with what tempo fashion is connected with cosmetic beauty culture and develops. Third, by studying the ways in which characteristics of Chanel's fashion philosophy are expressed in cosmetics and beauty culture, this study aims to accurately understand Chanel's philosophy on cosmetics and beauty. The meaning of this study can be found by showing the evidence that globalization of Korean fashion beauty culture can be achieved only when cosmetics and beauty culture moves with an intimate connection to clothing culture.

The Influence of the Service Quality on Switching Barrier and Customer Satisfaction in Skin Care Shop (피부미용실의 서비스품질이 고객만족과 전환장벽에 미치는 영향)

  • This study is conducted to verify out whether any important differences can be made with factors of service qualities by the population statistics and trait of skin care shops. And this study is conducted to find out the relation that service qualities may influence on switching barrier and customer satisfaction. For this study, 396 questionnaires were used which had been returned from the customers of the skin care shops of Seoul, Gyeonggi and Chungchyung provinces from 15th April to fifth May, 2013. To analyze above data, frequency analysis, t-test, ANOVA, factor analysis, regression analysis are carried out by using an SPSS 18.0 statistical package. The results are as follows : The features of services of the skin care shops are analyzed into four factors which were Assurance, Materiality, Responsiveness, Agreeability. The features of switching barrier are analyzed into three factors which are Alternative attractiveness, Interpersonal relationship, Switching cost. There are important differences in the concept four service qualities of skin care shops by the features of the statistics of population according to sex, marriage, monthly income and the types of job. The four features of service qualities of the skin care shops have positive influences on the three features of switching barrier - Assurance, Responsiveness, Agreeability and the three features of customer satisfaction - Assurance, Materiality, Agreeability. Through this study, We can have the conclusion that the switching barrier made by the building up the qualities of service can prevent the customers from dropping away.

A Study on Men's Satisfaction and Intention to Revisit Beauty Shop Service (20-40대 남성의 이.미용 서비스만족도와 재방문 의도에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify factors evaluating beauty service and to find determinants of consumer satisfaction and intention to revisit a beauty shop for Korean men aged from 20's to 40's. The study was done by survey method. Data of three hundred were collected by on-line survey. Descriptive analyses, factor analyses, Duncan tests, multiple regressions, and path analyses were applied to analyze data. The results were as follows: First, factor analysis produced five factors on men's beauty service quality. They were store environments and convenience, employee's skill, service efficiency, store management methods, and service fee. Second, men's service satisfaction on beauty shop and on beauty shop employee were significantly affected by all the beauty service factors. Third, men's intention to revisit beauty shop and to revisit beauty shop employee were positively and significantly affected by all the beauty service factors and satisfaction on beauty shop employee. In conclusion, men's satisfaction and, in turn, intention to revisit beauty service were affected mainly by evaluation on beauty service. To increase customer satisfaction followed by store loyalty, comfortable shop atmosphere and outstanding styling quality service are likely to be most important. Beauty service quality could be perceived in comparing with service fee. Thus, diverse ways of price related promotion would be required to improve beauty service satisfaction.

  • Despite accelerating market changes in the beauty service industry, there are still inadequate service education programs and a lack of objective data and research to develop systematic policies to strengthen competitiveness, thereby fostering the beauty service industry. Accordingly, this study will examine the factors that affect customer satisfaction in terms of customer touchpoints, hence uncovering what the beauty service needs to develop systematic customer service education programs. It aims to contribute to the improvement of beauty service quality by providing basic empirical data that is necessary to build service education programs and strengthen the touchpoint staffs' job competency. A total of 16 people, 8 male, and 8 female customers in their 30s and 40s, who have ever used hair shop services in the metropolitan area, and 8 male and female hair designers and owners, were interviewed during a 9week period from October 31, 2017, through December 30, 2017. The data was analyzed as follows in order to measure service quality, SERVQUAL was revised and supplemented according to the purpose of this study, and a table for customer satisfaction factors was constructed. In addition, the results of the study were derived by classifying the relations among the customer satisfaction factors with respect to the interviews. The results show that the price of hardware, the location of the store, and hair designers' ability, which are the direct components of customer satisfaction, have a great influence on the customer satisfaction considered when selecting the beauty services (hair shops). In addition, it can be seen that human services including human-ware, which are accompanying services make up a high proportion considering customer satisfaction factors.
