An Analysis of Research Trend in Domestic Mathematics Gifted Education (수학영재교육 관련 국내 연구 동향 분석)

  • This study had suggested the direction and implications of mathematics education for the gifted student by looking into domestic research trends in relation with mathematics education for the talented children from 2000 to 2010. 168 theses were analyzed by researching theses about mathematics education for the talented children and the total 10 kinds of special journals that are registered or to be registered at National Research Foundation of Korea in order to find a research trend about mathematics education for the talented children. As a result of analyzing theses of each year, the number of theses on mathematics education for the talented children has been increasing largely since2004 and it is steadily being conducted until now. As a result of analyzing theses for each research theme, frequency was shown in order of development research about educational course program for mathematics education for the talented children and research on characteristics of the talented children. For analysis result of research target, research targeting elementary school students has taken great importance. For the aspect of research methods, research about development of program and research tool was used in theses and qualitative research method was mainly used in journals and therefore a direction of mathematics education for the talented children was discussed according to this.

  • The purpose of this study is to build a metadata set based on the semantic structure of the Korean studies research articles. For this purpose, we analyzed the related researches which suggested the semantic structure of the research articles, categorized the concepts of author keywords of the Korean studies research articles, and drew the metadata set of 16 elements from the results of the analysis and the categorization. The significance of this study is that it propose a semantic metadata configuration methodology which can reflect the scholarly sense-making of researchers in Korean studies. Especially, this study is significant because it reflects the keywords which was given by the actual researchers to examine the content characteristics of the Korean studies research articles.

  • More budget is supplied to R&D in Korea, more SCI articles are published rapidly recent years. But we can't know this SCI journals included the articles by Korean are subscribed print or licensed e-journals. So This study aims at discovering the trends and phases of SCI journals and articles published by Korean using bibliographic analysis. The SCI(Science Citation Index) database DVD version was used to search for the number of times paired Korean articles from 2004 to 2006.

An Analysis of Research Trends Related to "Christian School Education" ("기독교학교교육" 관련 연구 동향 분석)

  • This study analyzed research trends related to Christian school education in Korea. In order to analyze academic societies and conferences related to Christian school education, the topics of conferences and research results and theses related to Christian school education in Korea were collected to analyze the frequency and trend of Christian school education-related topics. In addition, papers searched as "Christian schools" among the academic journal's published papers were classified and organized. In order to understand research trends related to Christian school education, the year and frequency of academic journals related to Christian school education were analyzed, and the contents of the published papers were divided into research schools, research subjects, and research contents.As a result of analyzing research trends of Christian school education, it was found that there were very few academic exchanges or academic activities related to Christian school education, and most supported lectures and meetings related to the reconstruction of curriculum and class management directly supporting school sites. Therefore, this study proposed that academic societies and conferences should be revitalized in Christian school education-related institutions. In addition, this study found that annual academic conferences of Christian education-related academic societies were rarely held under the theme of Christian school education, and suggested to revitalize research related to Christian school education in the academic societies of Christian education in order that God's kingdom may be restored and expanded in the area of education by recovering school education through active research on Christian school education. Third, as a result of analyzing the papers published in domestic journals, it was confirmed that research on Christian school education was mainly conducted around universities, and the topics were limited to history, curriculum, religious education, identity, and missionary work. In this regard, this study proposed to expand the research topics related to Christian school education. Finally, as a result of analyzing the published academic journals that studied on Christian school education, it was found that the non-Christian camp is also conducting research with interest in Christian schools, and thus, communication with the non-Christian camp was proposed to revitalize research on Christian school education.

Analysis of Adaptation Research Trends of Multicultural Families Adolescents (다문화가정 청소년의 적응 연구 동향 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the research trends of adaptation research of adolescents in multicultural families and to seek future research tasks and directions. For this purpose, a total of 94 journal papers were selected and the research status, research method, research subject, and research contents were examined. The analysis results are as follows. Firstly, journal articles has been steadily appearing since the 1st edition in 2007, and has soared since 2018. As a result of examining the number of papers by journal, a total of 50 papers were found in various fields. By journal field, 37(74%) were the most in the social science field. Second, among the analysis results of the research method, 68 research surveys were found, and quantitative research analysis methods accounted for 74%. Third, as a result of analyzing the research subjects, 75 cases were studied directly for multicultural adolescents only, and 19 others studied parents, teachers (workers) or adolescents and other subjects together. Fourth, in the contents of the study, school adaptation characteristics were the most frequently(52), followed by sociocultural adaptation characteristics(37). Based on the analysis results, future research directions and tasks were discussed.

Research Trends of Korean Journals on Sex Education for Young Children·Elementary School Students·Middle School Students (유아·초등·중등 학생의 성교육 국내 학술지 연구 동향)

  • The purpose The purpose of this study was to compare and observe research trends of sex education for young children·elementary school students·middle school students, provide base material for research on sex education, and present research prospects and tasks for the future. For this, 30 theses from Korean journals related to sex education for young children·elementary school students·middle school students from years 2000 to 2019 were extracted and analysis was conducted on the general trends (by research period and by academic field) of sex education and they were categorized by research topic, by research subject, and by research method. Research results showed that, with research period, research increased in the mid-2000s and with journal trends by research subject, and was published in 24 journals. Second, with regard to research topic aspects, most studies looked into 'sex education perceptions and conditions' and research dealing with 'gender concept development' and 'program development and teaching method strategies' also increased. Third, in terms of the research subjects, there were 9 papers for children, 6 papers for elementary students, 14 papers for middle school students, 2 for high school students, and 9 papers for teachers and parents. Fourth, with trends according to research methods, the quantitative research method of 'questionnaires' was used most and following were 'literary studies' and 'interviews', in that order. Reflecting these research results, discussions were presented and proposals for future studies were made.

  • 연구기관의 연구 활동에 대한 평가는 연구기관에 소속된 연구자들의 논문으로 연구 활동을 분석함으로써 이루어질 수 있다. 논문으로 연구 활동을 분석하여 연구기관에 대한 평가를 하기 위해서는 논문을 작성한 저자의 소속기관이 가장 먼저 식별되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 국내 과학학술지 논문에 대한 저자의 소속 연구기관을 식별하는 시스템을 구축하여 각 연구기관의 연구 활동에 대하여 분석해 보았다. 이러한 시스템을 기반으로 연구기관별 논문 수, 피인용 횟수, 1회 이상 피인용 된 논문 수 등의 기본 연구 활동을 분석하여 얻은 결과는 연구 기관 평가의 근거로 사용할 있으며, 나아가 특정 분야에서 강세를 보이는 연구기관과 연구기관끼리의 협업 관계를 분석하여 정책에 활용할 수도 있다.

Domestic Research Trends of Mathematics Teacher Education: Focused on the Journals by the Korea Society of Educational Studies in Mathematics (수학 교사교육에 관한 국내 연구의 동향 분석 -대한수학교육학회의 학술지를 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the trends of domestic research on mathematics teacher education in terms of timings, topics, methods, and subjects. For this purpose, a total of 111 articles dealing with mathematics teacher education, published since 1992 by the Korea Society of Educational Studies in Mathematics, were analyzed. The results of this study showed that the number of such articles has been rapidly increased since the late 2000's. Research on the professional development for teachers has been the most frequent topic but the studies dealing with teacher knowledge or orientation tend to be popular. Qualitative research methodology, specifically case study, has been most frequently employed in studying mathematics teacher education. The subjects for research included a similar portion of in-service and pre-service teachers, and elementary and secondary school teachers. Given these results, this paper closes with several implications for future research direction on mathematics teacher education.

Analysis of research status on domestic AI education (국내 인공지능 교육에 대한 연구 현황 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify research trends on artificial intelligence education. We analyzed 164 domestic journal papers related to AI education published since 2016. The criteria for thesis analysis are number of publications by year, journal name, research topic, research type, data collection method, research subject, and subject. The main research areas and areas that require further research are reviewed. The method of the study was analyzed based on the topic and summary of the selected thesis, but the text was checked if it was unclear. As a result of the study, research on 'artificial intelligence education' started in earnest after 2017, and has been rapidly increasing in recent years. As a result of the analysis, there were many studies on artificial intelligence education programs and content development, and artificial intelligence perception and image. As for the type of research, there were many quantitative studies, and the development research method was used a lot as a data collection method. In the study subjects, elementary school had a high proportion, and in subject, it was found that there were many practicial subject(technology) dealing with artificial intelligence contents.
