In this study, we analyze the strengths and limitations of student convergence education and teacher-training programs offered by a science education institute in the capital region and provide suggestions for organizing and running similar programs in other science education institutes and schools. Reviews of relevant literature and interviews with internal and external expert groups were conducted, and an analytic framework was developed. Based on the framework, we collected data using focus group interviews and email communications with experts. The data were analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative methods within two areas, namely, convergence education programs for students and teacher-training programs. The data analysis results revealed the status of student convergence education and teacher-training programs in the institute. Furthermore, we also provided suggestions for improving programs in other informal science education institutes and schools through the interaction between the two areas in the framework and educational and social needs.

4C-STEAM을 활용한 과학인형극 프로그램은 연구자가 지난 6년 동안 50여회의 전국 공연을 담은 학생중심의 '과학예술융합 체험 프로그램'이다. 이는 학생들에게 융합과 창의, 소통과 배려의 기회를 제공하였지만, 프로그램의 재미 요소의 차이에 따라 참가자의 반응이 엇갈리는 것을 확인하였다. 따라서 본 프로그램 속에 재미 요소를 분석하고 전략을 강화하여 학생 참여와 교육 효과를 높이고자 한다.

This study aims to examine the cases of overseas experience programs centered around middle school students in South Korea and to derive implications for future overseas experience programs. To achieve this, data were systematically collected through search engines based on keywords, followed by comparative analysis. Frequency analysis, independent sample t-tests, and cross-analysis were conducted using SPSS 23. The research findings are as follows: First, the programs are operated nationwide, with a focus on smaller schools in various regions, and are particularly active in the Jeolla provinces. Diverse public funding, such as from the board of education and local governments, has been invested, categorizing operational costs into full financial coverage among others. The programs primarily took place in Southeast Asian countries close to South Korea. Second, the purposes of these middle school overseas experience programs largely encompass career exploration, cultural experiences, tourism, and sister school visits. We hope that school-based overseas career exploration programs are actively operated to provide opportunities for enhancing global competence and global citizenship, as well as exploring career paths.

This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of the experiences of the global start-up education program. With 10 study subjects selected from 'Eklya Global Entrepreneurship Camp' among global education programs in K University, pre- and post-survey and FGI were conducted. The collected surveys were analyzed by SPSS (24.0) and FGI. The results of this study are as follows: First, According to a comparison of the average score of the global start-up education program experience pre-post, 3.1 points showed that the program affected students' start-ups. Second, in the interviews conducted after the program participation, it was shown that detailed planning for their global start-ups, systematic education on finance, improved self-confidence for start-ups, and discussion-based education influenced their start-ups. Finally, this study expects that the comparative analysis of the college students participating in entrepreneurship education would lay the basis for more effective global entrepreneurship education in the future.

천문학은 시간적·공간적 규모가 크기 때문에 학습자의 수준에 따라 공감과 이해의 정도에 차이가 크다. 2015 개정 과학과 교육과정에 따르면 초등학교 5학년부터 태양계에 대한 내용을 다루고 있다. 하지만 이를 설명하기 위한 교과서의 사진과 동영상 자료는 태양계를 명확하게 전달하기 어렵다. 이에 대한 대안으로 3D Modeling을 통한 체험 교육을 제안한다. 천문학 교과에서 3D Modeling의 적용은 학생들의 흥미, 태도의 향상 등 교육적 효과의 상승으로 이어진다. 이에 본 연구에서는 3D Modeling의 도구 중 3D 프린터와 레이저 절단기를 이용해 융합교육(STEAM) 프로그램을 개발하고 학생들에게 적용하여 창의적 문제해결능력에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 한다. 초등학교 교육과정에 제시된 태양계 관련 학습자료를 분석하였고, 융합교육(STEAM)에서 제안하는 상황제시, 창의적 설계, 감성적 체험의 교육단계 중 '창의적 설계' 단계에 3D 프린터와 레이저 절단기를 통해 개발한 kit를 이용하여 융합교육(STEAM) 프로그램에 적용하였다. 개발된 프로그램을 형식 교육의 장에 적용하여 개발된 평가지표를 토대로 사전·사후 평가를 실시한다. 향후 3D Modeling을 초등학교 교육과정뿐만 아니라 중·고등학교 교육과정 또한 분석하여 적용한다면, 천문대중화를 위해 큰 도움이 될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

The purpose of this study is to enhance the quality of APEC Edutainment Exchange Program (AEEP) that was developed for Korean multicultural students and implemented in Philippines. Based on literature review and data analysis, we designed and developed edutainment-based contents for their team projects. The participants of the AEEP which was carried out between Aug 12th and 19th in 2012 were 34 elementary and secondary school students with program coordinators. Data collection included survey, video, interview, report and episodes. The data analysis of AEEP activities revealed the features of global experiential learning and edutainment in the K-pop and cooking projects where the Korean-Philippino students exchanged their cultural activities with joyful cooperation. The data also confirmed the Korean students' positive changes toward multi-cultural understandings and attitudes.

The Purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of a simulated and structured senior program on nursing students. 42 nursing students participated in a simulated and structured senior program. Simulation equipment to revive the old man's feeling consisted of special space suits, glasses, gloves and sandbags. After the experiment, subjects composed the paper, which were analyzed according to the thematic content analysis method. Through the simulated and structured senior program, students could deepen their understanding not only upon physical weakness but also environment of elderly. And they came to have a wide perspectives of the elderly nursing.

The purpose of this study were to analyze effects of VR-based intervention on daily living skills and class attitudes of students with intellectual disabilities. To do this, 30 students with intellectual disabilities in the second and third grades of middle school were selected for this study and placed three group. A group took part in a class using only VR program, B group participated in experience activities program, and C group got in the intervention program that combine VR program and experience activities on daily living skills. Intervention programs were conducted 4 times in a week for 4 weeks from the fourth week of July to the third week of August and a class time of each class was 50 minutes. Evaluations were carried out in pre- and post-test. The Evaluation data were analyzed by One-way ANOVA and scheffe'. In Result of study, daily living skills of C group was improved more higher than other groups and class attitudes of C group was improved more higher than group B. These results showed that the intervention combining VR program and direct experience activities was more effective than the other methods.

This study explores the effectiveness and applications of event collection programs, which are integrated programs with event experience and collection experience as a cooperation model that combines school education and library resources as course-related materials. For the purpose, a triangulated analysis with both quantitative and qualitative data was conducted. As a result, This study examined an event collection program's effectiveness which were positive effects on the participated students' reading and perceptions on the roles of their school libraries. The event collection supported the students to self-construct their knowledge by exploring information with the provision of a collection with various materials on a topic, which would be hardly provided within the traditional library subject classification, and that the event collection program could be a useful tool for self-directed reading due to its promotion of interaction, sharing, and participation among materials and the participated students by functional factors of experiential marketing.

The purpose of this study is to analyze whether there is a difference in the needs of the prevention program for dating violence according to the gender and major of University students. The subjects of the study were the humanities, social science and health care students in U university, which included 220 male students, 131 female students, and a total of 351 students. The research tool produced and surveyed the questionnaire about the timing, content and method of education about prevention of dating violence through the review of previous studies. For data analysis, independent sample t-test and cross-analysis were conducted to analyze the differences in the demands for dating violence prevention programs according to the gender and major of University students. The results of the study were as follows: First, there was a significant difference in the demands of teaching methods of dating violence prevention programs according to the gender in personal counseling and experience activities using open KakaoTalk. The women were significantly higher than men in all sub-factors of dating violence prevention programs. Second, there was a significant difference in the demands of teaching methods of dating violence prevention programs according to the major in personal counseling and experience activities using open KakaoTalk. The health care students were significantly higher in all sub-factors of dating violence prevention programs than in humanities and social sciences students.
