Many studies have been conducted for a relatively short period of time since the introduction of flipped learning in the country. However, most research focuses on the ways of flipped learning and its efficiency, hence, the perception of the teacher about flipped learning has not been studied yet. In this study, to investigate the teacher's perception of flipped learning, 1,038 teachers conducted the survey which consists of three areas such as their understandings of flipped learning, their using patterns and their expectations of flipped learning in the future. The results showed that teacher's understanding and using state of flipped learning was not that high. Also, they were very cautious of using flipped learning for their class. Based on the results, the activation plans of flipped Learning were also proposed.
The purpose of this study was to explore the feasibility of Flipped Learning teaching and learning methods in pre-math teachers' education through investigation of pre-math teachers' awareness about the method. To achieve the goal, we implemented Flipped Learning model that was composed of three steps in mathematics education class of 30 pre-math teachers and then we investigated their awareness about the model and process. Pre-math teachers' awareness were positive about the model and process of Flipped Learning, but some matters were suggested about learning environment. The results of this study showed the feasibility of Flipped Learning in pre-math teachers' education.
Recently, flipped learning has been paid much attention as one of the improvement methods of teaching and learning at university level. Few studies investigated the effects of flipped learning in general physics classes. However, in order to be successfully established and spread new attempts such as flipped learning, it is necessary to investigate in detail the effect of flipped learning and the way it is perceived by students in accordance with other variables such as student's background and characteristic. In this study, we investigated differences in students' perception on the flipped learning and their achievement according to their background and characteristic in flipped-learning-based introductory physics course in which class hours are divided into lecture and group problem solving equally. Students' achievement was more influenced by their readiness before the beginning of the semester than their time consuming for learning during the semester. Students generally had a very positive perception of the new way of flipped-learning-based physics teaching. However, students of insufficient prior learning, or relatively not-hard learner agreed with careful selection of subjects rather than the overall expansion of flipped learning.
This study attempted to apply flip-learning and to evaluate college students' awareness and academic achievements. Twenty-seven students in single-group dental hygiene were applied to the dental radiology class for four weeks. Data collection was done after the flipped-learning and collected data were analyzed using frequency, average and content analysis using SPSS 18.0. As a result, awareness of overall class was a positive response, and academic achievement evaluation was not statistically significant. It was found to be an effective educational program. However, the academic achievement evaluation was not statistically significant and it was considered that the evaluation system needs to be different according to the learning method.

The purpose of this study was to examine the phenomena that occurred when the students were practicing flip-learning lessons and to present the good points and the unsatisfactory points to improve the students' learning pleasure. Therefore, it is aimed to provide the basic data and the advantages and disadvantages which are needed to apply the flip learning method which is newly emerging recently to the university instruction. The method of this study was a questionnaire survey to understand the perception of flip learning. Based on the results of this study, the following conclusions are presented. First, the experience of flip learning instruction was first encountered by 50% of college students. Second, the students showed a very low tendency in practicing the flip learning instruction(video watching) the instructor intended. Third, college students have a habit of learning that they are not ready for pre-study of the subject. Fourth, the perception of flip learning lesson through the provision of video was highly positive. Fifthly, flip learning lessons have the advantage of being able to learn regardless of the time and place that they have, but they are not actively involved if they are not actually reflected in the test or grades. In conclusion, it was found that college students became accustomed to the incentive-style lessons due to the application of various learning techniques from elementary school age, making it difficult to participate in voluntary learning.
The purpose of this study is to explore supporting strategies for teaching and learning based on students' effect recognition and continuous intention in college flipped learning. It was analyzed 426 data by multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) by examining student's effect recognition and continuous intention on 15 flipped learning classes of K-university in Chungnam. The characteristics of learners were male, senior students, students who knew flipped learning, students who did not have previous experience, and students who were learning video at anytime. As a teaching strategy, it was found that effect recognition and continuous intention were high in the supplementary deepening flipped learning class and natural science or engineering area. As a teaching and learning supporting strategies, First, the university should develop and operate flipped class learning strategy program for females and low-grade students. Second, it should support the development of good flipped learning design and operation model of instructor. Third, it should support the development of high quality online learning contents that students can learn from time to time. Fourth, it should support the strengthening of teaching competency to develop and operate flipped learning classes. This study can be used as basic data to support and spread the effective flipped learning classes of the university in the future.
The purpose of this research is to make a Flipped-MOOC model which can be applied and practiced in the college course after analyzing the characteristics and cases of MOOC and Flipped learning. For this, this study implemented the following tasks. First, this study analyzed the management and class types of MOOC and flipped learning through literature research. Secondly, flipped learning was applied in the course for a semester and the strong point and weak point of the course was analyzed and the alternative was suggested. Thirdly, the core ideas and strategies of Flipped-MOOC model was deducted for enhancing the participation and interaction of the students in the course which uses the MOOC content and applies flipped learning, and the instructional strategies and direction for the effective management in the real educational field was suggested. As a result, Flipped-MOOC model is expected to contribute for the educational revolution, change and quality improvement, and it is expected that Flipped-MOOC model might contribute to the lifelong education and educational competitiveness.

The purpose of this study is to understand of flipped learning of vocational high school teachers and to provide basic data of teacher training program development that can support flipped learning classes of vocational high school. We conducted surveys and focus group interviews to solve these research problems. The focus group interview is conducted on four flipped learning teachers who participated in the questionnaire. The results of this study are as follows. First, vocational high school teachers only heard the term 'flipped learning', but they did not have much experience in class. Second, it is necessary to learn contents and pre-learning for basic understanding of flipped learning, method of making learning contents of learning materials that focused on students' motivation and interest in the classroom. Also, we needed a method to induce participation in classroom activities, and a compensation method and evaluation method to maintain it. In addition, they requested specific flipped learning instruction procedures and various learning materials at each stage in accordance with the vocational high school situation. Third, I requested training contents and practice - centered training method that can induce interest and motivation as the training management method for the vocational high school teachers' flipped learning classes. In addition, it required step - by - step training according to the understanding level of flipped learning of high school teacher.
This study redesigned the Korean speaking classes to foreign undergraduate students as flipped learning classes and verified their effect on speaking-related emotional variables. In addition, international students' perceptions of what experiences are needed to improve speaking efficacy in Korean were examined. For this purpose, the 'Creative speaking' subject for freshmen was redesigned to flipped learning class and operated for one semester. To analyze the effect of speech-related emotions, a paired t-test was conducted on 26 foreign students' pre-post scores of speech efficacy and anxiety. Also awareness of experiences needed to improve speech efficacy was surveyed and content analysis was conducted. As the result, the speaking efficacy of students after flipped-learning has been significantly improved. This means that flipped learning classes for the Korean speaking are effective for the positive emotions of foreign students speaking Korean. In addition, international students perceived that Korean speaking efficacy can be improved by practicing speaking in Korean, learning with Korean colleagues. Based on these results, several discussions and suggestions were presented.

The purpose of this study was to develop and examine the effect of flipped learning in hand sewing practice. The flipped learning class was designed to three steps(pre-class, in-class, after-class). Pre-class: Students learned kinds of hand sewing by watching video and ppt. In-class: Students were evaluated for their prior learning through the quiz. After the quiz, instructor had a brief hand sewing demonstration. Then basic hand sewing practice was progressed. After that advanced project(making things using more than 3 kinds of hand sewing methods) was progressed. After-class: Students were evaluated each other through project exhibition. The effectiveness of flipped learning was measured based on the students' self-reflective journals and class awareness surveys. As the results, students were actively participated in flipped learning and satisfied with the overall quality of the flipped learning class. They said that videos, project & feedback were helpful in understanding hand sewing. Flipped learning applied to hand sewing practice showed more positive learning effect than the general practice class.
