A Context-aware Workflow System for URC Services (URC 서비스를 위한 상황인지 기반의 워크플로우 시스템)

  • An URC (Ubiquitous Robot Companion) is aimed for providing the best service according to situational information that it recognizes. In order to offer human-friendly and intelligent services, a robot middleware requires the technique to automate and control URC service processes, which are based on context-awareness. In this paper, we propose a context-aware workflow system to provide web services based URC services according to situational information. The proposed system offers a platform-independent command object model to control heterogeneous URCs, and supports web services based context-aware URC services. Therefore, the proposed system can increase the reliability of URC services in ubiquitous network environment, on which the diverse URC robots and platforms exist. And it can enhance the flexibility and adaptability of the functional and structural changes of URC systems.

The Framework for Cost Reduction of User Authentication Using Implicit Risk Model (내재적 리스크 감지 모델을 사용한 사용자 인증 편의성 향상 프레임워크)

  • Traditional explicit authentication, which requires awareness of the user's authentication process, is a burden on the user, which is one of main reasons why users tend not to employ authentication. In this paper, we try to reduce such cost by employing implicit authentication methods, such as biometrics and location based authentication methods. We define the 4-level security assurance model, where each level is mapped to an explicit authentication method. We implement our model as an Android application, where the implicit authentication methods are touch-stroke dynamics-based, face recognition based, and the location based authentication. From user experiment, we could show that the authentication cost is reduced by 14.9% compared to password authentication-only case and by 21.7% compared to the case where 6-digit PIN authentication is solely used.

  • Electronic contract systems are widely used to integrate and manage the contract management process based on the development of ICT technology. Recently, improvement methods using block chain technology are being studied. However, contract management systems have processing performance, security vulnerabilities, data entry, and service accessibility issues. In this paper, we propose a block - chain based contract management platform with block chain, smart contract, and Rest API. The suggested platform includes the RPBFT algorithm which solves the processing performance and security vulnerability of the existing consensus authentication algorithm, and the algorithm to prevent data entry and enhance transparency of participants. The block-chain-based contract management platform proposed in this paper provides a use environment with improved processing performance, security, reliability, and transparency, and can be used through API without burdening construction. Therefore, The effect can be expected.

  • Fault localization plays a significant role in enormous distributed system because it can identify root cause of observed faults automatically, supporting self-managing which remains an open topic in managing and controlling complex distributed systems to improve system reliability. Although many Artificial Intelligent techniques have been introduced in support of fault localization in recent research especially in increasing complex ubiquitous environment, the provided functions such as diagnosis and prediction are limited. In this paper, we propose fault localization for self-managing in performance evaluation in order to improve system reliability via learning and analyzing real-time streams of system performance events. We use probabilistic reasoning functions based on the basic Bayes' rule to provide effective mechanism for managing and evaluating system performance parameters automatically, and hence the system reliability is improved. Moreover, due to large number of considered factors in diverse and complex fault reasoning domains, we develop an efficient method which extracts relevant parameters having high relationships with observing problems and ranks them orderly. The selected node ordering lists will be used in network modeling, and hence improving learning efficiency. Using the approach enables us to diagnose the most probable causal factor with responsibility for the underlying performance problems and predict system situation to avoid potential abnormities via posting treatments or pretreatments respectively. The experimental application of system performance analysis by using the proposed approach and various estimations on efficiency and accuracy show that the availability of the proposed approach in performance evaluation domain is optimistic.

  • The real-time bio-signal monitoring system based on the ZigBee and SIP/RTP has proposed and implemented for telemedicine but that has some problems at the stabilities to transmit bio-signal from the sensors to the other sides. In this paper, we designed and implemented a real-time bio-signal monitoring system that is focused on the reliability and efficiency for transmitting bio-signal at real-time. We designed the system to have enhanced architecture and performance in the ubiquitous sensor network, SIP/RTP real-time transmission and management of the database. The Bluetooth network is combined with ZigBee network to distribute traffic of the ECG and the other bio-signal. The modified and multiplied RTP session is used to ensure real-time transmission of ECG, other bio-signals and speech information on the internet. The modified ECG compression method based on DWLT and MSVQ is used to reduce data rate for storing ECG to the database. Finally we implemented a system that has improved performance for transmitting bio-signal from the sensors to the monitoring console and database. This implemented system makes possible to make various applications to serve U-health care services.

  • What is an alternative to medical information security of medical information more secure preservation and safety of various types of security threats should be taken, starting from the software design. Interspersed with medical information systems medical information to be able to integrate the real-time exchange of medical information must be reliable data communication. The software architecture design of medical information systems and sharing of medical information security issues and communication phase allows the user to identify the requirements reflected in the software design. Software framework design, message standard design, design a web-based inter-process communication procedures, access control algorithm design, architecture, writing descriptions, evaluation of various will procedure the establishing architecture. The initial decision is a software architecture design, development, testing, maintenance, ongoing impact. In addition, the project will be based on the decision in detail. Medical information security method based on the design software architecture of today's medical information security has become an important task of the framework will be able to provide.

  • Due to the development of private education and changes in the educational environment, the need for an academy management system is emerging for various tasks of academy management in the community and mobile environment with students. However, solutions developed for existing academy tasks, such as attendance management for students, announcement, and instructor management to sponsors, are specialized and specialized in large academy, making it difficult to use in small and medium-sized academy. Also, there are problems that are not suitable for most academy and cannot reflect various requirements of institutes because of the high cost. In order to solve these problems, this paper designed a B2M-based academy management system that can quickly improve information processing, improve credibility, and reduce the cost of processing tasks based on optimized functions such as academic administration and manager management, attendance management, and student management.

  • A Serials Union Catalog is an essential Bibliographic Control tool for integrated and shared the serials information which is scattered to the domestic libraries. It provides reliable informations about serials to user through creating optimized catalogs and holding informations. It is important of the consistency of the bibliographic record and the record's duplication ratio is an important criterion about Database Quality Assessment. This paper checks bibliographic data elements and proposes the duplicate detection process to improve union catalog quality for minimizing duplicate detection.

  • This research provides the solution of defect problem and detection of defect and its causes that happen on software development. For developing a reliable software, a key factor is to find and manage defects that are during software development. Based on defect items analysis, we understand associated relation between defects and design defect opportunity tree. Developing the similar project, we can estimate defect and prepare to solve defect by using defect management opportunity tree.

  • This paper suggests a PDA-based scientific traffic accident investigation system in order to improve the reliability and accuracy of a traffic accident investigation procedure. In order to fulfill this objective, a standard accident sheet with 32 elements to be used in the PDA system was developed through a reference review and an expert survey. Using this information, the required functionalities and realization procedure of the PDA system for traffic accident investigation were presented including mobile network environment and GPS/GIS design. A prototype of PDA system is presented and more improved and efficientmanagement is highly expected by applying the system developed in this paper.
