  • Over the past several years many researchers have attempted to explore the determinants of franchise restaurant success. This study is a research on the critical success factors of the franchise restaurant management which is expanding. The purpose of this study is to present right information to the managers of franchise restaurant fur their marketing and sales. The information is achieved from studying customers' intention. I also measured customers' satisfaction fur management of franchise restaurant and assessed maturation extent. In conclusion, The results show franchise restaurant's menu, atmosphere and accessibility are a considerable level in research results. However, franchise restaurant's brand, service, food, price and size are low level(determinants fact). Therefore, franchise managers have to complement a those factors. The result indicated that the points in time of forecast about the franchise restaurants CSFs are in 5 years mainly.

  • This study measures the impact of restaurant franchise brand equity and brand value on consumer loyalty and customer satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between variables based on previous studies. The survey for this present study was conducted from consumers who visited in a franchise restaurant within three months. in Seoul and the metropolitan area. Research revealed that brand equity and value of the franchise restaurant appeared to have a positive impact on customer loyalty, and then consumer loyalty exhibiting a positive impact on consumer satisfaction. In addition, brand equity and value of the franchise restaurant showed a positive impact on customer loyalty.

  • This research was conducted about four weeks from April 1, 2016 until April 30. Data collection for customers who visit the restaurant franchise in Seoul. Results shown that choose a restaurant franchise result sync conducted a regression analysis to analyze the impact on consumers' purchase intention. Kindness was the influence of B=0.597 (p<.001), is a unique B=0.210 (p<.001), cleanliness is B=0.230 (p<.001) significant information on the degree of consumer purchases (+). Second, choose a restaurant franchise motivation verify the moderating effect of consumer attitudes between the purchase intention of consumers eating out analysis. In the first stage determining factor model to 0.630, F=128.612 (p<0.01) emerged as significant. In the second stage of the explanatory models increased by the addition of an additional 6.1% of consumer attitudes consumer attitudes to F=58.656 (p<0.01) for it came out significantly. In Step 3 of Select synchronization options* and the increase in explanatory power due to the additional input of consumer attitudes 0.6%, so for F=1.585 (p<0.01) emerged as a significant moderating effect.

  • This research was conducted over four weeks from January 1, 2016 until May 30. Data was collected from self-adminstered questionnaires of dwontwon Seoul franchise restaurant customers. The data was subjected to regression analysis to analyze the impact of consumer motives on revisit intentioned. Results show that gourmet is B=0.553 (p<.001), convenient, B=0.093 (p<.05), social B=0.294 (p<.001), and showing off is B=0.085 (p<.01) consumer goods all have a significant positive influence on revisit intention. Second, a significant moderating effect of web based rumores on the relationship between consumer and franchise restaurants motives and re-visit, 0.683, F=116.279 (p<.001). The two-level models add additional explanatory power increase due to a consumer culture is 2.9% and F=26.791 (p<.001) to 'revisit' emerged as significant.   • This study on the lifestyle of senior citizens measured how slection criteria affects franchise restaurant selection. Word of mouth was determined not to have a negative effect between senior citizen lifestyle and franchise restaurant selection. First, the lifestyle of senior citizens were categorized into 4 sub-variables-extroverted, open, progressive, and future-oriented -. It identified information about the properties of the choice variables franchise restaurants positively influence on the all relationships .Second, the mediating effect of word of mouth was verified form the realtionships.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest positioning strategy according to franchising family restaurant brands. Discriminant Analysis was utilized to suggest methodological framework that seeks to find their relative positions in the family restaurant brands. As a result, the results show that five factors (employee service, physical environment, marketing, accessibility, and food quality) were extracted from Exploratory Factor Analysis that contains twenty three questions related to service quality of family restaurant. Second, Discriminant Analysis revealed that three factors out of five including employee service, physical environment, and accessibility showed the highest discriminant power. Based on the three factors, positioning maps were made and the location of four brands were identified. Third, service quality, satisfaction, and willingness had a significant influence on revisit intention.

  • The purpose of this study is to segment visitors for beer franchise restaurants. Total of 308 questionnaires were distributed to the beer franchise restaurant customers of Kangnam area, Seoul. To accomplish the aim of this study, author took the following three steps. Firstly, literature review was done to find out selective attributes for restaurant and bar and market segmentation. secondly, Selective attributes of beer franchise were analyzed and five factors, -'additional service', 'side dish quality', 'service class', 'accessibility' and 'outlet image'- were extracted. Lastly, customers of beer franchise shop were divided into two groups by the selective attributes, -'simple visiting group' and 'active lover group'. Those variables-loyalty, intent to recommend and overall satisfaction- have significant influence on 'active lover group'. Other than that, other variables -demographic characteristics and customer's behavior characteristics- didn't play important role to distinct two groups. As a result, only basic information for setting up marketing strategy of each market was provided.
