A Study on the Development of Noncontact Soldering Device of PV Cells Using Infrared Lamp (적외선 램프를 이용한 비접촉식 태양전지셀 솔더링 장치 개발에 관한 연구)

  • The reflector of infrared lamp is designed to the optimal circular shape through the analyses of lumination distributions with a triangular, rectangular and circular configurations of infrared lamps respectively by using Photopia. PLC is used to compare and amplify the difference between soldering temperature profile and feedback value. It is fed to IR lamp controller which adjusts the soldering temperature of PV cell. The soldering temperature measured using an infrared temperature sensor is then fed back to the PLC. The closed control loop of soldering temperature on a PV cell is implemented. The noncontact soldering device of PV cells using infrared lamp which is easily operated by HMI operation panel and controlled robustly by PLC and IR lamp controller is developed.

  • In uninterruptible power supply(UPS), a high speed phase control is usually required to compensate transients in the output voltage at the instant of transfer from the ac line to the inverter when the ac line fails or backs to the ac line in case of the inverter fails. To overcome this problem, this paper pre¬sents the closed digital phase-locked loop(DPLL) techniques designed by full software with TMS320C31 digital signal processor and describes the functional operation of the proposed DPLL. Fi¬nally, the performance of the proposed DPLL is shown and discussed through simulation and experiment.

  • In this paper, we design a robust output feedback controller for robot manipulators with bounded parametric uncertainties using high-gain observer. The proposed control scheme with integral action improves tracking error due to limit of the robust feedback gains. High-gain observer is used to solve the noise problem with the joint velocity measurement. This controller avoids the limitation on the variation of unknown parameters and guarantees the uniformly ultimate boundedness of the closed-loop system. The performance of the proposed method is demonstrated by simulation on a 2-link manipulator.

  • In this paper, we propose a robust control scheme of AC servo motors to suppress disturbance torques effectively. The proposed controller consists of both a model based feed-forward controller and a stabilizing feedback controller. The feed-forward controller is designed such that the output of the nominal plant tracks perfectly the reference velocity command with desired dynamic characteristics. The feedback controller stabilizes the overall closed loop system. Furthermore, the feedback controller contains a free function that can be chosen arbitrarily. The free function can be designed so as to achieve both suppression of disturbances and robustness to model uncertainties. In order to illuminate the superior performance of the proposed control scheme to the conventional ones, we present some simulation results.

  • In this paper, proposed the method to increase the battery life of the Wibro terminal by reducing its power consumption. The amount of power consumption was analysed. And as the results, it is shown that the suggested method can be reduced the power consumption. The performance of the proposed system, which control the number of pilot of symbol, analysed by the simulation. It is shown that the power consumption of the terminal can be reduced by the reduction of the CINR for the percentage of pilot per symbol, as 0.48dBm for 10% and 0.95dBm for 20%, which can be accomplished by changing the current system of having the fixed number of pilot.

  • This paper presents an output feedback robust H$\infty$ control problem for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems, which can be represented by an fuzzy dynamic model. The nonlinear system is represented by Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model, and the control design is carried out on the basis of the fuzzy model. Using a single quadratic Lyapunov function, the globally exponential stability and disturance attenuation of the closed-loop fuzzy control system are discussed. Sufficient conditions for the existence of robust H$\infty$ controllers are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs). Constructive algorithm for design of robust H$\infty$ controller is also developed. The resulting controller is nonlinear and automatically tuned based on fuzzy operation.

  • This paper investigates a PI control problem for the evaporator superheat, i.e., temperature difference between the two-phase region and the exit region of an evaporator, for multi-type air-conditioning/refrigeration system. Mathematical model describing the characteristics of compressor, condenser, evaporator, and electronic expansion valve are first derived. Then, two transfer function from the current input applied to an electronic expansion valve to the wall-temperatures of an evaporator tube at two-phase region and superheated region, respectively, are derived. The stability of the closed loop system with the PI controller designed it analyzed by using Nyquist stability criterion. Simulation results are provided.

  • In this paper, a robust direct adaptive contrdler is presented in a linear time-invariant. Continuous systems with unmodeded dynamics and bounded disturbance using a rmdified control law and the adaptive law to Compensate for the drawback of ${\sigma}$-modification algorithm. The proposed algorithm is awlied to a plant with unrmdeled dynamics represented as a singular perturbation. Boundness of all signals in overall system is guaranteed with mathematical analysis. simulation results are presented the effectiveness foc the first-order plant even in the presence of unmodelled dynamics or bounded disturbance simulatneousIy.eousIy.

  • In this paper, we propose a method that recognize hatched area based on segmentation and vectorization of a machine drawing. This recogntion of hatched area is composed of three parts. First, the proposed method segments an object, arrowheads and interpretation lines from the machine drawing and vectorizes the object and interpretation lines. Second, closed-loops are labeled with the vectorized objects, and then candidates of hatched areas arc determined. Finally, by recognizing hatched lines included in hatched areas, recognition of the hatched areas is completed. The proposed method is more useful in extracting and recognizing the hatched areas.

  • In this paper, a new controller using non-linear compensator for position control is presented, which we can satisfy the given specifications more easily than the existing one. We suggest an improved PDFE(Integral with Proportional-Derivative-plus-Feedforward) controller by which both phase margin and bandwidth are controlled simultaneously in the controller design problem. Replacing the feed forward term in the PDFF system with a CDIDF(Complex Dual Input Describing Function), the desired phase margin is obtained without diminishing the bandwidth of the closed loop system. The effectiveness of the proposed controller is confirmed through simulations and experiments. As The results of these, we know that it is possible to adjust overall specifications by varying parameters in the improved PDFF system.
