The Nintendo Switch(NSW), which appeared as an 8th generation console, has succeeded worldwide as a hybrid gaming console. The NSW has E-shop itself, users can sign in to their account and purchase games. The keypad built in the NSW is similar to QWERTY keyboard. In the password input field the input information is hidden, but it's possible to get the value entered from the keypad with shoulder surfing attack. Because of the NSW with many party or family games, there is a high probability that someone else is watching the screen nearby, which acts as a vulnerability in account security. Thus we designed the new keypad which improve from this issue. In this paper, we check the problem about the keypad which built in the NSW, we present the proposed keypad and the compared to the built in keypad by showing the test result of unspecified individuals use.

We present a systematic way to armor a zero-knowledge interactive proof based identification scheme that has badly chosen keys. Keys are sometimes mistakenly chosen to be weak(neither random nor long), and a weak key is often preferred to a strong key so that it might be easy for human to remember. Weak keys severely degrade the security of ZKIP based identification schemes. We show using off-line guessing attack how the weak key threats the security of ZlKIP based identification schemes. For the proper usage of ZKIP, we introduce a specialized form of ZKIP, which has a secret coin-tossing stage. Using the secret coin tossing, a secure framework is proposed for ZKIP based identification schemes with weak key in the ideal cipher model. The framework is very useful in password based authentication and key exchange protocol

Nowadays many phishing sites contain HTTP links to victim web-site's contents such as images, bulletin board etc. to make the phishing sites look more real and similar to the victim web-site. We introduce a real-time phishing site detection system which makes use of the characteristic that the phishing sites' URLs flow into the victim web-site via the HTTP referer header field when the phishing site is visited. The detection system is designed to adopt an out-of-path network configuration to minimize effect on the running system, and a phishing site source code analysis technique to alert administrators in real-time when phishing site is detected. The detection system was installed on a company's web-site which had been targeted for phishing. As result, the detection system detected 40 phishing sites in 6 days of test period.

With the rapid evolution of mobile devices and the development of wireless networks, users of mobile social network service on smartphone have been increasing. Also the security of personal information as a result of real-time communication and information-sharing are becoming a serious social issue. In this paper, a framework that can be linked with a social network services platform is designed using OpenAPI. In addition, we propose an authentication and detection mechanism to enhance the level of personal information security. The authentication scheme is based on an user ID and password, while the detection scheme analyzes user-designated input patterns to verify in advance whether personal information protection guidelines are met, enhancing the level of personal information security in a social network service environment. The effectiveness and validity of this study were confirmed through performance evaluations at the end.

Recently, famous online shopping websites were hit by hacking attack, and many users' personal information such as ID, password, account number, personal number, credit card number etc. were compromised. Hackers are continuing to attack online shopping websites, and the number of victims of these hacking is increasing. Especially, the exposure of credit card numbers is dangerous, because hackers maliciously use disclosed card numbers to gain money. In 2007 Financial Cryptography Conference, Ian Molly et al. firstly proposed dynamic card number generator, but it doesn't meet reuse resistant. In this paper, we analyzed security weaknesses of Ian Molly's scheme, and we proposed a new one-time virtual card number generator using a mobile device which meets security requirements of one-time virtual card numbers. Then, we propose one-time credit card number generation and transaction protocol using Integrated Authentication Center for user convenience and security enhancement.
Analog-digital converter (ADC) should be one of the most important blocks that convert various physical signals to digital ones for signal processing in the digital signal domain. As most operations of the analog circuit for sensor signal processing have been replaced by digital circuits, high-resolution performance is required for ADC. In addition, low-power must be the critical issue in order to extend the battery time of mobile system. The existing integrating sigma-delta ADCs has a characteristic of high resolution, but due to its low supply voltage condition and advanced technology, circuit error and corresponding resolution degradation of ADC result from the finite gain of the operational amplifier in the integrator. Buffer compensation technique can be applied to minimize gain errors, but there is a disadvantage of additional power dissipation due to the added buffer. In this paper, incremental signal-delta ADC is proposed with buffer switching scheme to minimize current and igh-pass bias circuit to improve the settling time.

It is necessary to improve transfer impedance of express bus terminal users in order to increase the usage of public transportation. This study constructed a model for calculating transfer impedance based on bodily sensational transfer time in express bus terminal and calculated transfer impedance on major express bus terminals in Korea. The study results show that the addition of 100 meter exterior walking distance increases 3 minute travel time, 100 meter interior walking distance increases 5 minute travel time, 100 stairways increase 13 minute travel time, and escalators decreases 3 minute travel time. The calculated transfer impedance based on bodily sensational transfer time in this study can be utilized as objective criteria to compare transfer conditions of different bus terminals and to prioritize them for facility improvement. The calculated transfer impedance also can be used as facility guidelines for designing a new transit center.

Although fire incidents occur frequently in factory buildings, the focus has primarily been on property damage rather than human casualties. In this study, we conducted an analysis of RSET(Required Safe Egress Time) variation by examining the relocation of workbenchs using evacuation simulations. The results demonstrated that a simple change in workbench placement led to different RSET and variations in the feasibility of evacuation. Specifically, arranging workbenchs in a vertical configuration reduced travel time for workers and minimized total evacuation time. The hybrid layout of "vertical-horizontal" exhibited the shortest RSET, while the "horizontal-vertical" configuration resulted in the longest RSET. These research findings are significant as they provide practical alternatives to decrease RSET in small-scale factories where additional investments beyond essential safety equipment may pose challenges due to budget constraints. However, it is important to note that this study solely focused on comparing RSET while controlling for all other factors, without considering real-life fire simulations. Therefore, further research is necessary to integrate fire simulations and conduct comprehensive assessments of evacuation safety.
The rapidly growing IoT market is expanding not only in general households but also in smart homes and smart cities. Among the major protocols used in IoT, ZigBee accounts for more than 90% of the smart home's door lock market and is mainly used in miniaturized sensor devices, so the safety of the protocol is very important. However, the device using Zig Bee is not satisfied with the omnidirectional safety because it uses a fixed key during the authentication process that connects to the network, and it has not been resolved in the recently developed ZigBee 3.0. This paper proposes a design method that provides omnidirectional safety to the ZigBee authentication protocol and can be quickly applied to existing protocols. The proposed improved ZigBee authentication protocol analyzed and applied the recently developed OWE protocol to apply ECDH, which has low computational volume and provides omnidirectional safety in IoT. Based on this, it provides the safety of the ZigBee authentication protocol, and it is expected that it will be able to provide user convenience as it does not require a separate certificate or password input.
