  • 폐기물 가스화는 생산된 합성가스를 이용하여 발전 등 직접적인 에너지원으로 이용할 수 있으며, 고부가가치 화합물의 원료 공급원으로도 이용할 수 있다. 폐기물 가스화를 이용한 고부가가치 화합물 제조의 경우 기존 화합물 제조공정에 폐기물 가스화 공정이 연계되어, 하나의 복합시스템으로 운영이 된다. 따라서 기존 공정과 최적으로 연계될 수 있는 폐기물 가스화 시스템의 개발 또는 선정이 필요하며, 이를 위하여 폐기물 가스화 시스템에 대한 분석 평가가 적절하게 이루어져야 한다. 본 연구에서는 시스템공학 개념을 적용하여 폐기물 가스화 시스템의 체계적인 분석 평가를 위한 프레임워크를 개발하였다. 시스템공학은 요건분석, 기능분석, 합성(통합), 분석/관리 프로세스를 통하여 시스템을 성공적으로 구현하기 위한 다학제적인 접근방법이다. 이러한 시스템공학의 개념 및 기본 프로세스를 적용 조정하여 폐기물 가스화 분석 평가 프레임워크를 개발하였으며, 개발된 프레임워크는 계층구조로 표현이 된다. 계층구조는 분석관점, 분석항목, 분석지표로 구성이 되며 분석된 데이터에 대한 평가는 AHP를 통하여 계산된 가중치를 적용하여 이루어진다.

Analysis of Anti-Bias Education Activities in Early Childhood Education (유아교육분야에서의 반편견 교육활동 연구 분석)

  • This study aims to analyze anti-bias education activities for young children in Korea by reviewing related research. Focusing on the themes of biases and teaching medium/methods applied in the research, it tends to enhance general understanding about anti-bias education activities for young children. For this purpose, a total of 125 research papers published from 1995- 2017 dealing with anti-bias activities/programs for young children were analyzed. The results of this study were as follows: In terms of the period of research, almost half of the studies (53 studies) were conducted from 2000- 2004. Regarding the themes of biases covered in the education activities, single bias related activities included 64.8% of the total studies reviewed, and the main themes of bias included disability and gender. In studies that included multiple bias themes, more than half investigated from three to five different bias themes, including appearance, family, disability, gender, race, and culture. The most common teaching medium/method applied in activities was children's story, accounting for 60.8% of all activities. The following was utilizing inclusive environment, which was 14.4% of the activities. Based on these findings, this study would help systematize the contents of anti-bias education and develop diverse teaching-learning approaches.

Social Context-aware Recommendation System: a Case Study on MyMovieHistory (소셜 상황 인지를 통한 추천 시스템: MyMovieHistory 사례 연구)

  • Social networking services (in short, SNS) allow users to share their own data with family, friends, and communities. Since there are many kinds of information that has been uploaded and shared through the SNS, the amount of information on the SNS keeps increasing exponentially. Particularly, Facebook has adopted some interesting features related to entertainment (e.g., movie, music and TV show). However, they do not consider contextual information of users for recommendation (e.g., time, location, and social contexts). Therefore, in this paper, we propose a novel approach for movie recommendation based on the integration of a variety contextual information (i.e., when the users watched the movies, where the users watched the movies, and who watched the movie with them). Thus, we developed a Facebook application (called MyMovieHistory) for recording the movie history of users and recommending relevant movies.

A Comparative Study of a New Approach to Keyword Analysis: Focusing on NBC (키워드 분석에 대한 최신 접근법 비교 연구: 성경 코퍼스를 중심으로)

  • This paper aims to analyze lexical properties of keyword lists extracted from NLT Old Testament Corpus(NOTC), NLT New Testament Corpus(NNTC), and The NLT Bible Corpus(NBC) and identify that text dispersion keyness is more effective than corpus frequency keyness. For this purpose, NOTC including around 570,000 running words and NNTC about 200,000 were compiled after downloading the files from NLT website of Bible Hub. Scott's (2020) WordSmith 8.0 was utilized to extract keyword lists through comparing a target corpus and a reference corpus. The result demonstrated that text dispersion keyness showed lexical properties of keyword lists better than corpus frequency keyness and that the former was a superior measure for generating optimal keyword lists to fully meet content-generalizability and content distinctiveness.

Effects of Simulation Based Learning in Psychiatry on Self-efficacy, Problem Solving Ability, and Knowledge of Nursing Students: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis

  • The aim was to evaluate the effects of simulation based learning in psychiatry on self-efficacy, problem solving ability, and knowledge of nursing students. PubMed, Cochrane Library, Embase, CINAHL, KISS, RISS, and ScienceOn were searched until July 2023. A systematic review and meta-analysis was conducted of 22 studies (20 reports), with a total of 1,414 nursing students. Overall, simulation based learning in psychiatry appeared to have beneficial effects on self-efficacy (ES = 0.65, p < 0.001, I2=71%), problem solving ability (ES = 0.15, p < 0.001, I2=27%), and knowledge (ES = 0.45, p = 0.003, I2=84%). These results demonstrate that, if integrated appropriately, a simulation educational approach can be used as an active learning methodology in psychiatric academic settings.

THE SOCIAL SKILLS TRAINING IN CHILDREN WITH ATTENTION-DEFICIT HYPERACTIVITY DISORDER(ADHD) (주의력결핍/과다활동장애(ADHD) 아동에서 사회기술훈련)

  • Objectives:The children with ADHD have some deficits in social skills including the peer relationship. There are several approaches to teaching social skills to children with ADHD, and many are combined in comprehensive programs to maximize treatment effects. We conducted this study to explore the direct effects of social skills training program applied to children with ADHD. Method:Five children and their mothers who were diagnosed to Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder(ADHD) in Y elementary school survey participated to the study. We performed the 8-session program with the modified the Pfiffner and McBurnett's program(1997), and assessed the social skills, problem behaviors, peer acceptance, parenting behaviors, and parenting stress. Results:Parent's reports were some different from teacher's reports;teacher reported improvement in social skills and peer acceptance, but parent notified decrement in problem behaviors. And also, there were no changes in maternal behaviors, but significant reducing effects in parenting stress. Conclusion:The stimulants are mainstream in treatment of children with ADHD. The social skills training programs are combined in comprehensive treatment programs in children with ADHD to maximize treatment effects.

  • While the 7th national education curriculum is gradually proceeding, science education tries various teaching-learning method for integration in science education. The first purpose of this study is to investigate Earth Systems Education(ESE), which is approaching method to integrate science education, especially in its focus on planet Earth. Also, the second purpose is to know what the reactions of students are obtained after 'The Global Climate Game' in ESE active learning program is applied to the field. The results of this study are as follows; ESE is to propose the integrated approaching method of searching for natures and ESE teaching-learning method is to try to overcome fixed conventional teaching-learning method focus on the text book, and practical application of ESE teaching-learning method is that we can develope the student-emphasized instructional program through the discussional cooperation-teaming models, role-play instructional models. In this study, 'The Global Climate Game' found that was suitable of understanding about relating of atmosphere, hydrosphere, lithosphere and biosphere composing Earth System. Reaction of most students for ESE was showed a positive change of aspect affective region and ESE active learning program is more efficient to improve schoolwork achivement and students positive attitude toward science subject than conventional teaching-learning method. Thus if ESE active learning program is applied for a long time, the general positive attitude of students concerning science will be increased, and then the students is expected to extend the ability of application of science in their life.

  • Objective : Autistic Spectrum Disorders(ASD) is a developmental disorder characterized by atypical sensory adaptation, communication problem, stereotyped behavior, and feeding disorders. The reasons for ASD feeding disorders are oral sensory motor, cognitive, behavioral, and social problems. Major symptoms include picky eating, selective eating, food refusal, food neophobia, limited food variety, and food aversion. ASD feeding disorders could be accompanied by various problems such as health and nutrition intake problems, feeding development, eating-related sociability, and family and caregiver stress. Feeding problems and disorders in ASD can present from birth. However, ASD is diagnosed by the age of 3, and there might be an appropriate treatment gap. Usually, symptoms of feeding disorders tend to decrease with age. However, the symptoms often remain, so early evaluation, intervention, and periodic checking are necessary. In this study, the general information about the feeding disorder characteristics of ASD, influencing factors, and intervention were described through a literature review. Conclusion : Sensory-based therapy and behavior-based therapies are generally used for feeding disorders in ASD. Sensory-based therapy is effective for food sensitivity and behavior-based therapy for food selection. As the symptoms of feeding disorders in ASD are diverse, a comprehensive approach includes play and participation, oral motor exercise, diet, and daily life. However, appropriate evaluation, intervention protocol, and guidelines for the treatment of feeding disorders in ASD are limited. Therefore, a complex approach based on a more systematic understanding is needed. Feeding rehabilitation specialists, such as occupational therapists, should provide appropriate evaluation and intervention.

Comparison between Machine Learning and Traditional Tecnique for Suicide Prediction based on Meta-analysis (메타분석에 기반한 자살 예측 연구에서 전통적 통계 기법과 머신러닝 기반 접근법의 예측력 비교)

  • The purpose of this study was to compare the predictive accuracy of traditional prediction models (methods) and machine learning algorithms in predicting suicidal behaviors. The research aimed to go beyond a systematic review level and scientifically examine the predictive capabilities of these two techniques through meta-analysis, analyzing variables identified through domestic research, particularly at the regional level. In order to achieve this, a total of 124 studies, including 50 studies utilizing machine learning and 74 studies employing traditional methods, were included in the meta-analysis. The results of the study revealed that the integrated area under the curve (AUC) for studies using traditional methods was .770, which was lower than the integrated AUC value of .853 for studies using machine learning. Particularly, studies conducted in Asia (AUC = .944) demonstrated higher accuracy compared to studies in Western countries (AUC = .820) and Korea (AUC = .864). Additional analysis of the moderating effects in domestic research indicated that a higher proportion of males and the prediction of suicide attempts were associated with higher prediction accuracy. On the other hand, prediction accuracy was lower when the prediction target was suicide deaths and when studies utilized neural network analysis. This study synthesized various research findings on the prediction of suicidal behaviors, verified the effectiveness of prediction using machine learning, and holds significance in exploring variables applicable in the context of South Korea.

Modularization of Automotive Product Architecture: Evidence from Passenger Car (자동차 아키텍처의 모듈화: 승용차 사례를 중심으로)

  • How has the passenger car's architecture evolved? In the meantime, the discussions on the car architecture have been mixed, i.e., integral, modular, and the coexistence of two types. Therefore, in this study, we aim to develop two indices can measure the degree of modularization of passenger car and its all modules using global trade data. By applying the indices to the framework of architecture positioning that reflects the hierarchical structure of a product, we examined that the degree of modularization of the passenger car architecture has been enhanced. Meanwhile, the degree of modularization differs across the modules that make up the car. Specifically, we observed the higher degree of modularization in front-end, cockpit and seat modules. Whereas, we found that body module had a relatively low degree of modularization. In particular, we observed that the platform of passenger car has notably modularized due to carmakers' efforts to achieve model diversification and reduction of cost and period in new product development at the same time. Interestingly, we showed that three modules, i.e., engine, chassis (relatively less modularized), and transmission (relatively highly modularized), had a different level of modularization, even if they commonly make up the platform. We contribute to the suggestion for analytical approaches that examine the degree of modularization and its progress longitudinally. In addition, we propose the necessity of decomposition of a system into elements in a study of product architecture, considering the possibly distinctive progress of modularization across the elements.
