The purpose of this study is to find the way to build the concept image about natural logarithm and the method is using definite integral in calculus under GeoGebra environment. When the students approach to natural logarithm, need to use dynamic program about the definite integral in calculus. Visible reasoning process through using dynamic program(GeoGebra) is the most important part that make the concept image to students. Also, for understand mathematical concept to students, using GeoGebra environment in dynamic program is not only useful but helpful method of teaching and studying. In this article, about graph of natural logarithm using the definite integral, to explore process of understand and to find special feature under GeoGebra environment. And it was obtained from a survey of undergraduate students of mathmatics. Also, relate to this process, examine an aspect of students, how understand about connection between natural logarithm and the definite integral, definition of natural logarithm and mathematical link of e. As a result, we found that undergraduate students of mathmatics can understand clearly more about the graph of natural logarithm using the definite integral when using GeoGebra environment. Futhermore, in process of handling the dynamic program that provide opportunity that to observe and analysis about process for problem solving and real concept of mathematics.
The purpose of this study is to explore teaching and learning strategies through analyzing cases of foreign engineering education. With the analysis criteria composed of engineering education model, teaching and learning method, evaluation strategy, and technology supporting strategy, 10 foreign colleges of engineering in 5 countries were examined and analyzed. Teaching and learning strategies deduced from analysis state as follows. First of all, it need to develop engineering education models that reform should be made in systematic approach to teaching and learning, workplaces and laboratories, evaluation, technology support, etc. Secondly, the strategy for teaching and learning recommends supporting student directed learning, active learning participation, and collaboration learning by inductive learning strategies such as problem based learning, inquiry learning, project based learning, studio based learning, and blended learning. Thirdly, the evaluation strategy suggests that evaluation should be made to reflect students' learning and facilitate continuous learning based current learning results while it is necessary to build up a whole evaluation system. Finally, it is the educational technology approach for systematic engineering education that is required considering that many foreign colleges of engineering have reformed engineering education through technology supporting systems and are maximizing research and education in connection with other universities. This study is expected to contribute as preliminary data in developing further teaching and learning models and strategies for nurturing engineering students.

This study analyzes pre-service teachers' PCK dealing with visualization of the contents related to boiling point elevation and teaching methods in mock-lessons. As a result of analyzing pre-service teachers' knowledge based on PCK factors, most of the pre-service teachers accentuated on understanding boiling point elevation conceptually, whereas some of the others inclined to make students understand boiling point elevation in a scientific way, let the kids use numerical formulas to describe the concept, and motivate them to learn through the examples in real life. The pre-service teachers represented majority of the important facts of boiling point elevation as the knowledge required to understand things conceptually. However, they did not focus on improving the scientific thinking and inquiring levels of the students. Also, the pre-service teachers tended to teach at the level and order of the textbook. In some other cases, they considered the vocabularies and materials in the textbook (which could have been highlighted in the editing sequence) as the main topic to learn, or regarded the goal as giving students the ability to solve exercises in the textbook. It turned out that the pre-service teachers had a low level of knowledge of their students. It is recommended that they should make use of the materials given (such as data related to the misconception of students) during the training session. The knowledge of teaching and evaluating students was described superficially by the pre-service teachers; they merely mentioned the applications of models, such as the cyclic model and discovery learning, rather than thinking of a method related to the goals, or listed general assessment methods.
The world's best level of ICT(Information, Communication and Technology) infrastructure has experienced the world's worst level of ICT accident in Korea. The number of major accidents of privacy invasion has been three times larger than the total number of Internet user of Korea. The cause of the severe accident was due to big data environment. As a result, big data environment has become an important policy agenda. This paper has conducted analyzing the accident case of data spill to study policy issues for ICT security from a social science perspective focusing on risk. The results from case analysis are as follows. First, ICT risk can be categorized 'severe, strong, intensive and individual'from the level of both probability and impact. Second, strategy of risk management can be designated 'avoid, transfer, mitigate, accept' by understanding their own culture type of relative group such as 'hierarchy, egalitarianism, fatalism and individualism'. Third, personal data has contained characteristics of big data such like 'volume, velocity, variety' for each risk situation. Therefore, government needs to establish a standing organization responsible for ICT risk policy and management in a new big data era. And the policy for ICT risk management needs to balance in considering 'technology, norms, laws, and market'in big data era.

purpose of this study was to find out problems in experiments for electrolysis of an aqueous CuCl2 solution in high school science textbooks and to suggest an improved experiment considering students' capability of experimenting and laboratory safety in high schools. For this study, the experiments for electrolysis of an aqueous CuCl2 solution presented in 11 high school science textbooks were classified by their experimental methods. After high school chemistry teachers performed the experiments as presented in the high school science textbooks, an analysis was performed on problems of the experiments, and an improved experiment was devised. According to the results of this study, in the experiments for electrolysis of an aqueous CuCl2 solution using a U type tube and a U type tube with branch, reaction velocity of the electrolysis was slow, therefore, a side reaction was generated. In the experiment using a beaker, reaction of each electrode could not be observed separately. And in the experiment using an electrolysis instrument, it was difficult to identify property of the reaction product. In the improved experiment using a reaction vessel of ㅂshape, reaction velocity of the electrolysis was fast, reaction of each electrode could be observed separately, and the side reaction decreased. From these results, it was suggested that the improved experiment would help high school students understand scientific conception regarding electrolysis.
This study examines the sampling bias that may have resulted from the large number of missing observations. Despite well-designed and reliable sampling procedures, the observed sample values in DSFH(Demographic Survey on Changes in Family and Household Structure, Japan) included many missing observations. The head administerd survey method of DSFH resulted in a large number of missing observations regarding characteristics of elderly non-head parents and their children. In addition, the response probability of a particular item in DSFH significantly differs by characteristics of elderly parents and their children. Furthermore, missing observations of many items occurred simultaneously. This complex pattern of missing observations critically limits the ability to produce an unbiased analysis. First, the large number of missing observations is likely to cause a misleading estimate of the standard error. Even worse, the possible dependency of missing observations on their latent values is likely to produce biased estimates of covariates. Two models are employed to solve the possible inference biases. First, EM algorithm is used to infer the missing values based on the knowledge of the association between the observed values and other covariates. Second, a selection model was employed given the suspicion that the probability of missing observations of proximity depends on its unobserved outcome.
The purpose of this paper is to promote bilateral friendly relations, the elements that hinder Hate Korea wave's(Kenkanryu) status and an analyzation of the characteristics of its causes and solutions for it. However, there was both general awareness of a gap between criticism and support. The gap was about what is not unusual on the Internet and not to be greatly concerned about. I also compares anti-Korean's awareness to Korea with general Japanese's, and finds that there are gap between them. For example by analyzing general Japanese's awareness we can find 18% of people who criticize the Hate Korea wave or have positive image of Korea. futhermore the proportion of anti-Korean contents in internet is not very high, so we don't have to worrying about the phenomenon seriously. but because of the following three points, there are sufficient needs to concern about the phenomenon constantly. First, sources of Hate Korea wave are traditional media. Second, the consumers of Hate Korea wave are mainly young generation who will make future relation of two countries. And last, Hate Korea wave include potential power to explode when certain conditions are met.
The advent of the $4^{th}$ industrial Revolution requires entrepreneurship to the student as one able to produce creative solutions of complex problems embedded in society with active engagement. Maker Education indicates a new educational approach in which students produce a tangible output as a concrete solution to their problems, experiencing spirits of productive failure, sharing and openness with others during the process due to its educational values and effects which are well-matched with entrepreneurship. This study, in this context, aimed to verify the effect of the maker education in the sense of cultivating entrepreneurship: For this purpose, this study conducted a case study of Maker Education to 56 university students during 7 weeks (14 hours) in K university. The results based upon data analysis collected from reflective journals and interviews showed attitude change of the students in terms of entrepreneurship characterized as self-directedness, risk-taking, and creativity. For more active practices of Maker Education in higher education, both instructors' role as the facilitator, and easily and freely accessible Maker Space should be considered.
The purpose of this study was to explore how an elementary school teacher developed PCK by utilizing her knowledge domains in teaching practice, regarding the specific science topic of 'animals:' A case study approach was adopted with the participation of a 1st grade teacher, in a poor urban neighborhood elementary school in NYC. Data was collected through interview and the participant observation method in order to investigate: a) the teacher's existing knowledge base in terms of subject matter knowledge, pedagogical knowledge and contextual knowledge; b) how she develops PCK during classroom practice, centering on the relationship between knowledge domains. The findings illustrate the ways in which the three knowledge domains are closely related and developed as PCK through the whole teaching process. In particular, the findings indicate that the teacher's contextual knowledge plays a critical role in shaping and developing PCK. Before instruction, her contextual knowledge regarding the administrative policies and the school test system in the district enabled her to make decisions and plans about teaching science. During classroom teaching, her knowledge of students' sociocultural backgrounds and living conditions in the urban setting helped her to identify specific teaching strategies and resources suitable to the students' needs and interests. The study results imply that science instruction can be more feasible in meeting the demands of particular groups of students if teachers make an effort to become knowledgeable about their own teaching context and utilize it in developing their PCK.

This study aims to investigate the effects of science writing activities on the students' science-related attitude, motivation for learning science, and academic achievement. One hundred and twenty seven second graders of a middle school located in Gyeonggi province participated in this study. The experimental group performed science writing activities, while the comparative group performed problem solving activities at the end of the regular science lessons over 30 class hours. For the students' science-related attitude and motivation for learning science, TOSRA, PALS, and MSLQ were used with some modification and supplementation. For the students' academic achievement, scores on science examinations were used. The results of this study are as follows: First, the test of the science-related attitude showed that science writing activities have positive effects on the cultivation of sciencerelated attitude, as for the sub-factors, 'attitude towards scientific inquiry,' 'pleasure of science lessons,' and 'active attitude towards science'(p<.05). Second, the test of motivation for learning science showed that the science writing activities had positive effect on the improvement in students' motivation, as for the sub-factors, 'difference in values on task' and 'self-efficacy'(p<.05). Third, science writing activities are effective on improvement in the students' academic achievement(p<.05), especially on the high-level achievement group.
