A Study on the Mediating Effect of FLOW between Marketing Stimulation and Impulsive Buying Behavior : The Moderating Role of Self Behavior Control and Sensation Seeking Tendency (마케팅자극과 충동구매행동 간의 관계에서 플로우의 매개효과에 관한 연구: 자기행동통제와 감각추구성향의 조절효과)

  • Until now, most of the studies about the impulse buying have focused mainly on the product of off-line shop, while there have relatively been very few studies about the product in internet shopping mall. The goal of this study was to understand Impulse Buying Behavior(IBB) for digital contents in the internet. Data has been collected from 278 respondents. The questionnaire method was adopted to collect the data for this study. The research was conducted by using SPSS 12.0 and AMOS 5.0. It was found that as follows: First, marketing stimulation factors, such as price, product, promotion was related positively to FLOW. Second, marketing stimulation factors was related partly positively to IBB. Third, FLOW has mediating effects in the relations between marketing stimulation factors and IBB. Finally, Self-Behavior Control and Sensation Seeking Tendancy has moderating effect in the IBB process. Thus, It also provides a core strategic Implication with Digital Contents Marketers.

Determinants of Trust in Power Blogs and Their Effect on Purchase Intention (파워블로그의 신뢰 요인이 제품 및 서비스 구매 의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study is focusing on factors influencing trust in power blogs, and the effect of trust on users' attitude and purchase intention. The research model is based on the theory of online trust formation process and content quality. The statistical analysis was conducted through the survey of 122 power blog users. Research findings show that scope, accuracy, uniqueness, links, quality of wring, and reputation of power blogs significantly affect trust. Also, trust was found to have a significant influence on the users' attitude and purchasing intention on products/services.

  • After pandemic crisis, the volume and amount of watching global contents through OTT platforms have been increased explosively. This study investigates the relationship between consumers' attitude measured by satisfaction and favorability on global contents and purchase intention to global products with the moderating effect of ethnocentrism of consumers. Survey method using structured questionnaire was conducted on university students. As a result, the more satisfied and favored on global contents, the stronger purchase intention to global products. And the relationship is negatively moderated by consumers' ethnocentrism. Implications and future research issues are summarized.

  • 본 기업의 스폰서십 참여가 기업과 스폰서십의 어울림, 구매의도 및 구매태도에 미치는 영향을 규명하기 위해 수행되었다. 연구 대상은 대전광역시에 위치한 P대학교의 재학생이며 목적표집법에 의해 표집하고, 실험 전 후에 설문지를 작성하게 하여 자료를 수집하였으며, 총 100명의 자료를 분석에 이용하였다. 자료처리는 SPSS 18.0과 AMOS 7을 이용하였고, 분석방법은 빈도분석, 기술분석, 신뢰도분석, 상관분석, 확인적요인분석, 회귀분석, 구조방정식 모형분석 등을 실시하였다. 연구결과 기업의 스폰서십 참여는 기업과 스폰서십에 대한 어울림이 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 구매의도와 구매태도 역시 높아지는 것으로 나타났다.

Influence of SNS Digital Characteristics on Cultural Contents Purchase Intention (SNS 디지털 환경의 특성이 문화콘텐츠 구매의도에 미치는 영향 - 정보적 참여, 감정적 애착의 매개 역할을 중심으로)

  • Under the influence of information technology, there has been a significant change in the consumers' attitude and behavior toward the cultural products. Especially, the social network service (SNS) is predicted to effectively facilitate the growing interaction among potential consumers, which may lead to consumption of the cultural products. The goal of this study is thus two-fold: (a) to investigate the characteristic features of the digital environments based on SNS, and (b) to examine how these factors result in the purchase of the cultural contents. The survey data identified the digital environments as Informational interaction, Information connectivity, and Informational trust in the SNS environment. Subsequently, the structural equation methods confirmed that these factors facilitate consumers' participation in the information network and promote consumers' emotional attachment to the cultural contents, which eventually lead to the positive attitude toward the purchase of the cultural contents.

  • This study investigates Chinese consumers who have recently purchased products through internet personal broadcasting of Wang Hong and explores how factors related to Wang Hong, broadcasting contents, and products affect purchasing satisfaction of consumers. The present study also examines whether this satisfaction affects the consumer loyalty to the shopping through the Wang Hong in the future. The results indicated that consumers' perception of the informational level rather than entertainment level of broadcasting contents had significant effects on the product satisfaction. The perceived uniqueness and credibility of Wang Hong were found to have positive impacts. In terms of products, the more consumers perceived the product to fit their images or values, and the higher the fit between the images of Wang Hong and the endorsed product, the higher the satisfaction with the product. Product satisfaction increased the customer loyalty, including the intention of repurchasing products endorsed by the Wang Hong.

  • This study studied the influence of beauty influencers, who act as supporters of cosmetics companies, on the purchase intention of cosmetics by consumers using Instagram content. To this end, we focused on the influence of demographic characteristics of consumers exposed to product evaluation contents of beauty influencers acting as cosmetics company supporters on purchase intention. The research data questionnaire surveyed a total of 15 items in 237 parts. Frequency analysis, factor analysis, independent t test, ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis were used for data analysis, and SPSS 23.0 was used for analysis. As a result of researching purchase intention according to product introduction through Instagram contents of a specific account HAJIN_21 Beauty Influencer, gender did not have a statistically significant positive effect, and final education was statistically influenced on purchase intention. It was found to have a significant positive (+) effect. As a result, it was found that final education was an important factor in purchase intention. Furthermore, it is expected that this study can be used as a basic data in the direction of promotion using cosmetics companies supporters.

Purchase Intention depending on Appraisal of Outward Visual Elements in Superhero Action Figures (슈퍼 히어로 피규어의 외형적 시각요소 평가에 따른 구매의도)

  • Superhero films have formed a new genre convention encompassing all the generations. Figures derived from image contents are solid figures produced by means of professional figuration skills. Possession of figures has a symbolic meaning as a medium connecting the imaginary world and real one. From this perspective, figures hold an important position as a character product derived due to market expansion of the content industry. In this context, the study, which analyzed how appraisal of outward visual elements in superhero action figures might affect consumer's purchase intention, aimed to identify their purchase patterns. For this, the study established colors, types of physical body, facial figures and motions as independent variables for appraisal of outward visual elements, and purchase intention as a dependent variable and then conducted a multiple regression analysis. As a result of the analysis, the study found that colors, types of physical body and facial figures had a positive influence on purchase intention, while motions had no significant influence.

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the factors that have the impact on Vietnamese female consumers' attitude towards PPL and purchase intention on products in K-Drama. Additionally, the current study aims to discover the moderating effect of usual perception on PPL and the effect of usual flow level on the effects of PPL informativeness and intrusiveness. The existing PPL related research have focused on the effect of the domestic contents on the domestic consumer. However, it is significant that this study examines the impacts of domestic contents on foreign audience' purchase intentions on advertised products. The empirical results are as follows. First, informativeness has positive impacts on attitudes towards PPL and purchase intentions on products. Second, intrusiveness has negative impacts on the outcome variables. Third, attitudes towards PPL shows positive effect on purchase intentions on products. Lastly, the research revealed some interesting evidences on the moderating effects of usual perception on PPL and usual flow level on the main effects.

Study on the Relationship between the Pay TV Subscriber's Genre Preference and VOD Purchase : Focusing on the Movie VOD of IPTV Service (<유료 방송 가입자의 장르 선호도와 VOD 구매의 관계에 관한 연구:IPTV 영화 VOD 이용을 중심으로>)

  • This paper investigates the relationship between the Pay TV subscriber's genre preference and VOD purchase by analyzing actual purchase data of movie VOD of IPTV subscribers for 8 months. The result shows as follows. First, in case of purchasing movie contents below 4000 won, user's genre preference was higher than that of using contents over 4,000 won. This means the subscribers tend to follow their genre preference when the mass-typed recommendation is limited. Second, those who purchase foreign contents show higher genre preference than those who purchase domestic movies. Third, subscribers who purchase more frequently and much more tend to use more diverse genres. Heavy users or those who have higher willingness to pay would consume more diverse contents. It implies that VOD use would increase by supplying the personal recommendation service based on the subscriber's genre preference.
