An Analysis on the Firms' Financial Performance of Coupon-System Management Consulting (쿠폰제 경영컨설팅 기업의 재무성과)

  • 기업 경영이 점차 글로벌화 되어가는 환경 하에서 중소기업의 경쟁력강화대책의 일환으로 경영컨설팅 지원사업이 시작된 지 10년이 되었다. 그동안 실증적인 사후자료에 의한 평가는 전무한 실정으로 본 연구에서는 중소기업 쿠폰제 경영컨설팅 사업을 통한 사업참여 중소기업의 재무적 상황을 중심으로 사업참여 전 후를 비교 분석함으로써 본 사업의 시행성과를 분석하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 2005년도 중소기업 쿠폰제 경영컨설팅 지원사업 참여기업 중 지원사업 중 지원예산의 규모가 가장 크고, 업체에 지원금액이 많은 사업 혁신과제컨설팅(II)부문의 컨설팅을 수행한 기업들을 대상으로 수집한 재무비율분석 자료를 활용하여 사업참여 이전 및 이후의 재무상황 변화를 분석하였으며, 2005년을 기준으로 이전 1년 및 이후 2년간을 비교하였으며, 2005년 중소기업 쿠폰제 경영컨설팅 지원사업 혁신과제컨설팅(II) 70업체 중 사업참여 이전 및 이후 2년간의 자료를 구할 수 있는 34개 업체를 대상으로 하였다. 각 년도별 표본의 재무비율 산출은 EXCEL 2007을 사용하였으며, 쿠폰제 경영컨설팅 전 후 두표본 집단간의 차이 검증은 SPSS win 15.0K의 Wilcoxon 부호순위검정을 실시하여 검증하였다. 검증결과 경영컨설팅 전 후 전반적으로 가설은 기각되고, 성장성지표의 매출액증가율 및 활동성지표의 경영컨설팅 후 2년 총자산회전율은 기각되지 않으나 역의 영향력(설명력)을 가진 것으로 나타나, 쿠폰제 경영컨설팅사업의 실질적인 효율성 제고가 필요하다.

  • 지식 서비스 산업 중에서 경영 컨설팅 산업은 타 산업으로의 파급효과를 통해 얻을 수 있는 부가가치가 막대하므로 우리나라의 성장을 위해서는 필수적인 산업이다. 그러나 국외에 비해 국내의 컨설팅 관련 연구는 많이 부족한 것이 현실이다. 본 연구는 성공적인 컨설팅을 결정짓는 요인들로 컨설팅 관련자들의 특성을 고려하였다. 컨설턴트의 특성, 의뢰기업 측 컨설팅 프로젝트 팀장의 특성을 성공적인 컨설팅 결정 요인으로 하여 실증분석을 하였다. 분석을 위하여 한국경영기술컨설턴트 협회에 소속하여 활동하는 경영 컨설턴트 172명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하고 이를 바탕으로 다중회귀분석을 하였다. 분석 결과 컨설턴트의 역량은 물론 의뢰기업 측 팀장의 역량도 컨설팅 성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

  • This research studied that the effect of consulting local SMEs focusing on the effective factors related to quality of theoretical study and the previous studies according to research model and research hypotheses. Also, in this empirical analysis, analyzed the consulting performance that distinguish such as consulting procedures quality, consulting adaptation, consultant emotional intelligence and efforts factors. Second, in relationship with consulting adaptation and performance, statistically significant relationship showed weak. Finally, the quality of the consultant engagement and emotional intelligence was analyzed high significance. Therefore, this study further accounting information systems consultant at consultant emotional intelligence factors can expect a useful guidelines.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of consultant 's competence on consulting satisfaction, consulting service quality, and understanding of client firm consulting. In summary, the results of this study suggest that the competency of a consultant influences the satisfaction of consulting and affects the satisfaction of consulting through service quality. Responsiveness, empathy, type, assurance and reliability have a significant impact on the hypothesis. Also, the higher the understanding of client firm consulting, the higher the satisfaction of consulting. In order to further improve the satisfaction of such consulting, it is necessary to enhance client firm consulting understanding. In order to improve the satisfaction of consulting, it is suggested that not only the consultant capacity but also the efforts to improve the consulting understanding of the customer can achieve the intended satisfaction. Further research is needed on how to improve understanding of how to improve consulting satisfaction in the future.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the consulting firm's professionalism on the business performance of the consulting client firm, the quality of the consulting service quality and the consulting participation of the service company. The purpose of this study is to find out how to improve the quality and participation of consulting firms. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: respondent, empathy, tangibility, certainty, and reliability have a significant influence on the hypothesis that the consulting firm's expertise will affect the management performance through mediating service quality. In addition, it was confirmed that the higher the participation of client firms, the more significant the management performance was. In order to further improve management performance through consulting, active involvement of client firms is suggested. It is believed that studying the characteristics that can increase the participation in the future can lead to meaningful implications.

Comparison Analysis on Operation Characteristics of Design Consultancies between Korea and America (한국과 미국의 디자인컨설팅기업의 운영현황 비교 분석)

  • This study aims to consider the action plans to make the industry of Korean design consultancies accomplish qualitative growth by comparing the operation characteristics of design consulting firms between Korean design firms and American ones. For this, questionnaire survey and comparison analysis was performed for the operation characteristics of 109 Korean design firms and 97 American ones. The analysis results shows that operation characteristics of Korean design firms comparing to those of American ones keep low in all 7 areas of building long-term partnership relationship, building multi- disciplinary organization, utilizing result-based compensation system, developing design at the strategic business level of clients, executing active design business, making convergent networking with other industry and performing specialized design services. In order to accomplish stable industry infrastructure of design consulting industry with qualitative growth, it requires continuous effort to execute 7 operation characteristics of Korean design firms.

The NACUFOK Business Consulting's Influence on the Management Performance of the Primary Credit Unions (신협중앙회 경영컨설팅이 단위신협의 경영성과에 미치는 영향)

  • Business consulting which aims at advising overall management, comparative advantage in competitive environment, administration and so forth is deemed to be significant so that a credit union may flexibly respond to rapid and complicated financial environment. Accordingly, business consulting has been initiated and implemented in credit union since 2002, which seemingly leads to positive outcome to enhance its competitiveness. However, very few research exists which analyze the credit union's competitiveness and business performance after the business consulting. Thus, the research intends to verify how consulting influences on management performance by its various factors. With the above studies in mind, hypothesis is formed that the characteristics of a consulting comsumer and the characteristics of supplier will give a meaningful impact on management performance. The test shows the result as followings: Firstly, a primary credit union's trust and NACUFOK's expertise demonstrate that they are closely relevant to financial and non financial management performance. Secondly, support and willingness to apply states that they influences on non financial performance, while no direct impact is found to financial performance. Thirdly, NACUFOK's capability is rarely interrelated to financial and non financial performance. The present study implies that the credit union as a consulting beneficiary should participate in the consulting, accept the result, and make effort to solve the management problems. In addition, NACUFOK as a consulting supplier should initiate the organization in exclusive charge, perform the professional group, and foster the professional consultant for the development of consulting method, the improvement of consulting process, and the specialization of consultant including the enhancement of core competencies. When these perspectives are sufficient, it will be connected to the management outcomes, further, it will be boosted up the competitiveness of the Credit Union. Hopefully the present study helps to motivate the consulting of primary credit union, boost up the effectiveness of consulting, further, providing the perspective on consulting the credit union. And these may result in the indication of consulting development direction and the competitiveness of Credit Union.

An Analysis of Instruction Consulting System in Universities and its Implications (대학 수업컨설팅 체제 분석 및 시사점)

  • The instructional consulting has emerged as an important teaching development program in university. So, this research aims to analyze the instructional consultation system in centers for teaching and learning in four-year-course universities and deduce implications from it. To this end, focusing on instruction consulting program types, status, and example cases for promotion, homepages were reviewed and phone interview was conducted from July to August, 2015. The results were as follows. First, 9 types of instruction consulting system in universities were found. Second, the status of offering the programs and implementing them did not correspond to each other. Third, universities were mainly using in-school consultants. Fourth, universities had various ways of using the results and reward systems. Lastly, as for the example cases, through various consulting programs, consultant pools, use of results and reward system, and connection with other programs, it was found that instruction consulting system was operated organically. The implications that the research result offers are as follows. First, there should be accurate diagnosis of instructors and customized consulting systems based on needs. Second, there should be supports inside schools and cooperation between external organizations that can help raise consulting teams of various backgrounds. Third, the instructional consulting should be made through joint considerations and reflections of instructors. Fourth, universities should provide systematical support for instructional consultation and have higher awareness about it.

A Study on the Kindergarten Teachers' Perception and Need of Kindergarten Consulting (유치원컨설팅에 대한 교사의 인식 및 요구)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the kindergarten teachers' perception and need for kindergarten consulting. The subjects in this study were 178 kindergarten teachers who worked in kindergarten in the city of Busan. The data were analyzed using the descriptive statistics by the SPSS 18.0 program. The findings of the study were as follows: First, kindergarten teachers' perceptions for kindergarten consulting were above average in all areas. Concerning the impact of the variables for kindergarten teachers, there were statistically significant differences in perceptions for kindergarten consulting according to their career, academic credential, license, and the type of instruction. Second, regarding the need of the kindergarten teachers for kindergarten consulting, the need in the area of teaching consulting was highest. Concerning the impact of the variables for kindergarten teachers, there were statistically significant differences in the need for kindergarten consulting according to their career, academic credential, license, and the type of instruction.

  • This study examines whether there is a difference in satisfaction according to understanding level and participation level as well as the question of what kind of difference in consulting result. As a result of analyzing the model using the structural equation, it was confirmed that even if the quality of the consulting service was high, the satisfaction of the consulting company would be lowered if the contents were not understood or the participation was low. In other words, it was confirmed that service quality and satisfaction level of consultants were influenced by understanding and participation of company. The result implies that the high level consulting services of the consultants are also important, but in order to understand the understanding and participation of the consulting firms also affects the consulting satisfaction, and to increase the consulting performance, It is necessary to make aggressive effort to implement a corporate culture that can raise the level of education.
