This study aims to analyse the research trends and identify issues in elementary physical education in the new normal era. For this purpose, the taxonomic analysis method proposed by Spradley (2016) was applied, and 43 Korean academic articles were finally categorised and analysed. The findings are as follows. First, due to the changes in the educational environment caused by COVID-19, most of the remote and online physical education classes were conducted as content-oriented classes. It was found that there was a lack of communication between teachers and students in online physical education classes. Second, the difficulties of remote and online physical education classes and online and offline combined physical education classes, as well as research on how to overcome and improve them, were concentrated. Third, the need for evolution of physical education teachers and training of future professionals in line with the methodological transformation of primary physical education and the current situation was raised. In addition, the number of studies utilising blended learning, flipped learning, and new technologies, which have gained attention in primary physical education due to COVID-19, has increased. Based on the findings, we proposed the direction and future tasks of elementary physical education in the new normal era.

지식정보화 사회에 발맞춰 학교현장에서도 초 중등학교 정보통신기술교육 운영지침 개정안의 내용을 바탕으로 정보통신기술 교육을 강화하여 소양 교육과 교과 활용교육 간의 연계를 통하여 효과적으로 교육 목표를 달성할 수 있도록 노력하고 있다. 하지만 체육교과 부문의 ICT활용에 관한 연구는 다른 교과에 비해 다소 부족한 편이라 할 수 있다. 이에 발전적인 ICT 활용 체육수업을 위해 2007 개정 교육과정에 따른 초등교사의 ICT 활용 체육수업에 대한 실태분석 및 개선방안을 제시하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study was to empirically investigate the relationship among physical education professor-trust, attitude in physical education and self-management which pre-service elementary school teachers perceive. For this purpose, data from 328 students in universities of education located nationwide were collected and analyzed. Descriptive statistics analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis were conducted on the collected data by using IBM SPSS 23.0 statistical program, and confirmatory factor analysis and verification on structural equation model were conducted by using IBM AMOS 23.0 program. Through this research process, following conclusions were obtained; First, prospective elementary school teachers' confidence in physical education has a significant effect on attitude in physical education. Second, prospective elementary school teachers' attitude in physical education has a significant effect on class satisfaction. Third, prospective elementary school teachers' confidence in physical education has a significant effect on class satisfaction.

The purpose of this study is to find out the effects of convergence gifted education program for science-physical education on self-efficacy of the gifted students in elementary school. So, the program was carried out for the gifted students in the 5th grade of elementary school during the 8 hours on two subjects, we investigated the cause and effect through the pre-post test of self-efficacy and interview. The results were as follows. First, it was observed that it would have a meaningful effect to improve the self-efficacy of gifted students who performed gifted education program for science-physical education convergence. Especially, the results of 'confidence', 'difficulty preferences' was statistic meaningful differences. Second, convergence gifted education program for science-physical education enhanced confidence and challenge of consciousness of students. Especially, when products of gifted students are applied to real-world valued the higher confidence. Therefore, we found that in order to increase the gifted students' self-efficacy, gifted education program is configured by applying the products to the actual field.

This study was conducted to analyze the creativity education contents of dance activities in physical education textbooks for the 3rd and 4th grades of elementary school. For this purpose, 16 types of textbooks and auxiliary data for physical education in the 3rd and 4th grades of elementary school were collected and analyzed using the creative education content analysis frame of the physical education textbook based on the 4P model. In order to secure the integrity of the research, expert consultation was operated. The results of this study are as follows. First, from the viewpoint of creative person, 'inquiry' was the most common in creative mind, and the rest of the elements appeared relatively evenly. As for the subject of activity, 'individual' and 'colleague (team)' showed similar frequencies. Second, from the viewpoint of the creative process, all activity areas appeared as 'learning', and most of the elements of the activity purpose appeared evenly, and the creative process was explored. Third, from the viewpoint of creative output, physical activity performance was the most common activity method, and two or three activity methods were used together. In the creativity factor, all factors appeared evenly, and sensitivity and sophistication were the most common with 4 factors. Fourth, from the viewpoint of the creative environment, most of the activity spaces were no restrictions, and the activity media consisted of many educational contents using the body. Through this study, it was requested that creativity education in dance activities should be expanded quantitatively and intensified in quality, and the necessity of spreading creativity education contents of dance activities to other areas was explored.

체육교과에서 맨손 체조를 구성하는 수업은 기존의 자료 제시 형태의 컴퓨터 활용 수업에서는 일제식 수업이나 학습 목표를 달성하지 못한 흥미 위주의 수업으로 흐르기 쉽다. 그래서 맨손 체조에 관련된 제 7차 교육과정 내의 학습 내용을 살펴보고, 학습자가 자신에게 필요한 맨손 체조를 직접 구성하는 프로그램을 설계하였다. 여러 가지 동작을 익히고, 그 동작의 효과를 학습한 뒤, 적절한 동작을 연결하여 맨손 체조를 구성하는 프로그램으로써 평가를 통해 피드백이 가능하도록 한다. 이 프로그램을 통해 맨손 체조 구성 학습에 대한 학습자의 동기를 유발하는 동시에 학습 목표에 충분히 도달하여 학습자의 자기주도적 능력을 신장시키고자 한다.

The purpose of this study was to report the changes in underwater anxiety, physical self-efficacy, and water safety consciousness in elementary school students through participation in survival swimming education, and the relationship between variables. For this purpose, 300 out of 312 elementary school students who participated in survival swimming education in Busan were used as valid samples. The collected data were analyzed through exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correspondence sample t-test, and multiple regression analysis using the SPSS 25.0 statistical program, and the results are as follows. First, the underwater anxiety of elementary school students before and after participating in survival swimming education decreased, and the physical self-efficacy and water safety awareness increased. Second, underwater anxiety of elementary school students who participated in survival swimming education partially negatively affected physical self-efficacy and water safety consciousness, and physical self-efficacy partially positively affected water safety consciousness. Based on these results, the effectiveness of survival swimming education could be confirmed, and the direction of qualitative expansion of the program could be reconsidered.

This study was to analyze the related contents by securing 32 volumes of 8 types of physical education textbooks for grades 3, 4, 5, 6 that are being used in the school field for the revitalization of dance education. As a result, the 3rd grade expression area organized textbooks focusing on movement language and expression elements. For the 4th grade, most textbooks suggested gymnastics using balls, hoops, and ribbons. In the 5th grade, Ganggangsullae and Mask dance were suggested in relation to Korean folk dances, and Tinikling and Gustaf's skoal suggested in relation to foreign folk dances. had been In the case of 6th graders, the exploration of expression elements and the expression process were presented in relation to thematic expression, and the subject expression was made possible with a focus on creative gymnastics. Also, line dance among practical dances was presented in most textbooks. Despite the importance of the expression domain, field teachers at school are complaining of difficulties in teaching and learning due to various internal and external problems. The need for activation is raised in that the expression domain can exert effects in all cognitive, mental, and affective domains.

In this study, we analyzed what STEAM-related subject contents, except mathematical knowledge, are contained in 2009 revised elementary first grade mathematics textbooks. STEAM-related subject contents in the textbooks were examined by unit and by strand of the content in the elementary school mathematics curriculum. According to the results, the number and the type of STEAM-related subject contents are different depending on the unit and the strand of the mathematics content. Generally speaking, in each unit and in each strand of mathematics, storytelling liberal arts-related contents are seen the most, followed by non-storytelling liberal arts-related contents and physical education contents in order, while the number of musical contents was very small. So we need to develop different STEAM materials in order to activate STEAM education in our elementary math classrooms.

The purpose of this study is to construct a knowledge structure for the application of physical education in ecological marine sports. As specific exercises, a volleyball game (beach volleyball) and open water swimming were set, and a knowledge structure analysis framework was used for the study. Expert consultation was conducted to secure the validity of the study. The study results are as follows. First, a knowledge structure based on the 2022 revised physical education curriculum was prepared. Second, the basis for the application of physical education classes for ecological marine sports was prepared. Third, learning contents in the knowledge·understanding domain, process·functional domain, and value·attitude domain of beach volleyball were proposed. Fourth, learning contents of knowledge·understanding domain, process·function domain, and value·attitude domain of sea swimming were proposed. This study is meaningful in that it prepared in advance for the realization of the 2022 revised physical education curriculum to be introduced in the future.
