Demands for Health Education through Internet in Middle and High School Students (중.고등학교 학생들의 인터넷을 이용한 보건교육 요구도)

  • Background: It is important to provide health education to students to ensure a healthy life. Using the internet for health education may be a way to overcome the practical barriers to health education such as time and content. This study was conducted to investigate the demands for health education using the internet. Subjects and methods: Six hundreds and twenty-four and male female students in middle and high schools, who lived on Gyeongju-si and Seongju-gun in Gyeongsangbuk-do province, were interviewed by means of structured questionnaires, from March 5 to March 28, 2003. Results: More than 90% of the subjects had their own computers, and nearly 38% of those possessing their own computers had accessed internet sites related to health and medicine. Middle school students and in particular, female students were more desirous for health education through e-mail. Regarding content, the three major topics which the respondents wanted to learn about were healthy lifestyles, growth and development, and disease prevention. In terms of the interval for providing educational materials, over half of the students wanted information once a week. Most of the students wanted to have the quantity of the material be one page. In addition, there were numerous additional topics requested by the students such as sleep and health, contraception and family planning, safety education, cancer prevention, emotional instability of juveniles, the utilization of medical care facilities, stress management, etc. Conclusion: The students had a desire for health education through the use of e-mail, and methods and materials should be developed for appropriate health education using the internet.

  • 컴퓨터 기술과 정보통신 기술의 발달로 인터넷 사용이 손쉬워 짐에 따라 청소년들에게 무제한으로 유해 사이트가 공개되어 많은 사회적인 문제가 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 인터넷 사용자에게 음란 정보를 담고 있는 웹사이트 접근을 차단하는 방법에 관한 것으로 칼라 영상에서 인체를 검출하는 새로운 방법을 제안하였다. 효율적인 인체 검출을 위해 인체의 특징의 하나인 피부색을 HSI(Hue, Saturation, Intensity)의 공간에서 조명의 강도 및 각도 차에 영향이 적은 H값과 피부색을 이루는 RGB(Red, Green, Blue)공간에서 R값의 비를 이용하여 추출하고, 미디언 필터를 사용하여 1차적으로 잡음 제거를 하고, 라벨링을 통하여 임계값보다 작은 라벨을 제거함으로써 2차적인 잡음을 제거한다. 다양한 자세의 전신을 템플릿으로 DB화하고, 유형을 2차적인 잡음을 제거한 영상의 크기와 동일하게 확대 한 다음, 템플릿 매칭으로 유사성을 비교하여 인체를 검출하는 방법을 제안하였다. 실험 결과, 피부색을 검출하는 제안 방법이 명암 차를 극복하였고, 다양한 피부색 검출에 양호한 방법임을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 다양한 템플릿을 만들어, 1차 잡음제거와 라벨링으로 2차 잡음제거를 한 입력 영상과의 템플릿 매칭으로 다양한 자세의 인체를 검출할 수 있었다.

  • 인터넷의 발전은 온라인상의 무한한 정보 이용을 가능케 하였다. 인터넷 상의 무한한 정보에는 유익한 정보도 있지만 그렇지 못한 유해한 정보도 있다. 대표적인 유해 정보인 음란물 사이트는 청소년들에게 쉽게 노출되어 심신건강에 악영향을 끼친다. 최근에는 이러한 음란물 사이트를 차단하기 위한 알고리즘 개발이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 음란물 사이트 차단을 위해 연구되고 있는 대표적인 알고리즘들의 성능 비료를 통하여 각 알고리즘의 취약점을 보완할 수 있는 새로운 방법론을 제시한다.

  • A large part of the wireless Internet contents which the young people access through their mobile phones is mobile games. However, mobile games currently available in the market are mostly simple entertainment packages, and there are hardly any educational game contents. This research divided the middle school computer education curriculum into five parts-common PC knowledge, operating systems, word processor, Internet, and multimedia-and designed and implemented a crossword puzzles mobile game. The mobile game designed in this research was given an emphasis to allow access of school lesson contents anywhere and anytime through actual mobile telecommunication networks, so that the students may experience less barrier to more fun and entertaining educational contents. The developed educational mobile game was applied on 2nd year middle school students. The mobile game had positive educational effects.

  • This study groups the life content of adolescents according to their time spent during the week and compares their internet use. The data were collected from 2210 middle and high school students, including their life content and hours, and various internet factors such as self-evaluated internet addiction, internet support, internet experience, chatting subjects and the type of internet service. Adolescents were divided into five groups: TV-oriented group, computer-oriented group, peer-oriented group, self-study group and extracurricular institution group. The purpose of internet use, internet experience, chatting subjects, negative aspects of internet and internet addiction were different by adolescents' group type. The peer-oriented group had the highest real self image as opposed to the cyber self image and trusted other's words on the internet. The TV-oriented group had the lowest trust in the internet. The computer-oriented group received the highest internet support and internet experiences, but didn't use the internet for the purpose of information search. The self-study and extra-curricular institution groups used the internet the least, used it to solve stress and were interested in school circles on the internet.

  • This study conducted five day school week as seeking direction for programs and policies that meet the needs of weekend activities want the satisfaction of youth to find out what to investigate. For purpose, actually a lot since five day school week and weekend programs whether or not to participate, hope to weekend programs, weekend activities operating in the way were examined. Findings, for the first five day schol week of youth satisfaction than girls, boys lower was, since five day school week and weekend program participation rates were lower. Most since five day school week in activities with friends, sleep, games or Internet, hobby alone, watching TV, family and activities in order appeared. Young people can study their aptitude to live autonomously in a student-centered curriculum of education is required, arising from a rapidly changing society and human relationships, social problems, to respond to a variety of leisure time, and to participate in the program will be provided an opportunity. Lessons five day school week, increased leisure time of youth, school, and community for the desired program, you will need to plan and operate with local conditions.

Credibility Judgement of Information by Tweens (트윈세대의 정보 신뢰성 판단에 관한 연구)

  • This study investigates the credibility judgements of information by tweens using digital media and information. Particularly, the study focused on tweens' perception of internet research and information use and on their credibility judgement of source and message, internet service providers, and on consulting with others for their credibility judgement. The survey methodology was used to collect data from grade 5 and 6 students in two elementary schools whose parents are likely in middle and upper class. 336 valid questionnaires were collected among 400. Descriptive statistics, factor analysis, and t-test were used to analyze the data collected using SPSS 25. Findings suggested that tweens understood the importance of using smart media and computers, that they used Youtube, Naver, Kakao talk, Naver JisikIN much in sequence, and that they believed the Internet research was easy and fun. Using exploratory factor analysis, the survey questions for credibility judgement were classified into three factors: Internet service providers, sources and information, and consulting with others. Tweens used sources and information credibility, consulting with others credibility, Internet service providers credibility in sequence. However, it was interesting to find that there were greater deviation in answers on knowing how to find out the cognitive authority of the authors and on the importance of using current information. This study suggests the critical need for tweens' credibility judgement research for promoting critical thinking skills as well as for proactive educational practices in schools and libraries on information literacy.

The effect of parents concern and cultural capital on Internet using behaviors of primary school students (부모의 관심과 문화자본이 초등학생의 인터넷 사용 형태에 미치는 영향)

  • This study explores the empirical impact of parents' concerns and cultural capital on using Internet with elementary school children. Using the representative data from the 2010 korean adolescent panel data, this study found that the degree of parents' concern for their child directly affected to the Internet using behavior. This study showed the following results. The patterns of Internet use depended on their parents' attitude. The time for game decreased according to the increase of the parents' concern, while the time for searching information for learning increased. Cultural capital directly and indirectly affected to the behavior of Internet use. These results implied that children felt less need to use Internet to spend their time since they learned how to spend the time and to make relationships with other children through the cultural experiences.

  • 본 논문은 우리나라 청소년들의 경제교육을 좀더 효과적이며 내실 있는 교육방법을 찾는 데에 그 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 세계적 무한경쟁시대(無限競爭時代)에 주역이 되어야 할 우리나라 청소년들에게 어릴 때부터 체계적인 경제 지식과 마인드를 심어줌으로써 미래지향적이고 세계주도적인 인재로 성장할 수 있는 기틀을 잡아주고, 어떻게 교육하는 것이 가장 효과적이며 내실 있는 방법인가를 고찰하였다. 현재 우리나라 초 중 고에서의 경제교육에 관한 현황을 살펴보고, 실태조사를 바탕으로 경제교육의 방향과 활성화에 시사점을 두었으며, 특히 디지털 매스미디어를 중심으로 한 교육방법을 살펴보았다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 디지털 시대의 청소년 경제교육 방향을 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청년실업자의 활용이라는 측면에서 청소년경제교육을 직접 지도할 수 있는 전문가를 양성하여야 한다. 정년실업자를 청소년 경제교육에 관한 skill 교육을 통해 전문경제교육자로 양성한 후 현장에 투입하여 활용하는 방안이다. 현재 학교교육에서의 경제교육을 전문적으로 도와줄 수 있는 전문가의 부재를 청년실업자를 바탕으로 정책적, 민간기관의 지원을 바탕으로 자격증을 취득한 전문경제교육자를 현장에서 활용하는 것이다. 둘째, 청소년들의 환경에서 가장 큰 영향력을 행사하는 디지털 매스미디어를 경제교육의 도구로 활용하는 웹 활용교육(WBI)이 되어야 한다. 디지털을 이용한 경제교육의 매력은 매스미디어에 대한 청소년들의 거부감이 없다는데 있다. 그리고 웹 활용 교육(WBI)과 프로그램 개발을 통하여 인터넷과 홈페이지 그리고 다양한 경제교육과 학교 수업에 효율적으로 사용될 수 있다.식품으로서 사료의 위생적인 생산을 가져올 수 있을 것으로 생각된다. 서비스에 대한 인지된 유용성과 UI의 편의성은 사용자 선호에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면에 정보 품질, 서비스 연계성, 흥미 성, 시스템 품질은 사용자 선호에 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 정보 품질과 시스템 품질의 결과는 유의 수준에서 크게 넘어가지 않는 결과가 나와 반드시 영향을 미치지 못하는 것은 아니라고 조사되었다. 본 연구는 검색 서비스라는 특정 서비스에 대해서 사용자 선호에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대해서 알아보고자 하였다. 이는 학문적인 측면에서 기존의 통합적인 웹사이트 평가에 대한 연구의 확장을 가능케 하였고, 개인사용자 측면에서는 좀더 좋은 정보를 제공하는 검색 서비스에 대한 이해를 높일 수 있는 계기가 되었다고 할 수 있다. did not showed any characterized sign of acute or subacute liver damage or intestine lesion. A Study of Web-oriented Learning Method and Effect for English (웹기반 영어교육의 온라인 학습과 효과에 관한 연구)

  • It has been widely researched in many studies what is the most effective way to learn English as a second language. It has been generally accepted that the most effective teaching method is to make students interested in learning of English. Teaching method has to be modified with the change of the times according to the demand of the students. The purpose of this study is to reveal that language teaming method through internet could be more effective than that of the existing teaching one by offline loaming. For this purpose some subject students were divided by two groups of the experimental and of the controlled. From the result of the study it could be derived that teaching method, by means of cyber lecture, make a great effect not only on the attitude but on the achievement of the students when they are in the class of English as a second language. This paper also shows what could be the typical model for the teaching method by internet based on the experiment. This kind of way of teaching is supported by the questionnaire which has much more positive response from the students who were in the member of experimental group. Finally such a experiment would be described based on the Web-oriented teaching method with the respect of education of digital contents.
