다수의 진동체로 구성된 부 구조물에 의한 감쇠 효과 (Dissipation Effects Induced by Substructures Comprised of Multiple oscillators)

  • The goal of this paper Is to characterize the vibration damping induced in a main structure by a large number of sub-oscillators. A simple expression is obtained for the substructure impedance when the number of sub-oscillators approaches Infinity. It is found that the induced damping depends on the total mass of the sub-oscillators resonating in a frequency band of interests and nearly independent of their Individual loss factors. A modal overlapping condition. which corresponds to bandwidths that exceed the spacing of those natural frequencies, is required for the sub-oscillators to have such effects. An impulse response of the system is also considered. When the sub-oscillators lack damping and do not satisfy the modal overlapping condition, the vibratory energy is returned from the sub-oscillators to the main structure at later times. The result of this paper is consistent with that found with the fuzzy structure and SEA framework.

  • This paper is concerned with the design and application of an Electro-Rheological(ER) fluid damper to suppress the vibration of a rotor system. The system is flexible with a slender shaft and a thin disk, being supported by two ball bearings. In addition, to investigate the system performances also in the high speed range, the driving torque is made transmit through a speed increasing gear train. Along with the experiments, to predict and compare the ER damper effect, the rotor system is simulated as to its free and forced vibration characteristics by means of a finite element method code, which is assembled with the mathematical model of the designed ER damper.

  • The Roadway caused through Power Train engine vibration and bad ride comfort. It is very important to analyze the vibratory characteristics. The mathematical models on the Power Train, which is composed of engine-/transmission block, universal joint shaft, differential, rear axle arm and wheels, are developed and is verified by the experiments. This Paper describes the coupling influence occurred through a complete drive system for the power train. Dies study is carried out computationally with a calculation program and experimentally with the aid of the mode analysis.

  • In this paper, vibration and flow-induced flutter instability analysis of cantilever multiwall carbon nanotubes conveying fluid and modelled as a thin-walled beam is investigated. Non-classical effects of transverse shear and rotary inertia are incorporated in this study. The governing equations and the associated boundary conditions are derived through Hamilton's principle. Numerical analysis is performed by using extend Galerkin method which enables us to obtain more exact solutions compared with conventional Galerkin method. Cantilevered carbon nanotubes are damped with decaying amplitude for flow velocity below a certain critical value, however, beyond this critical flow velocity, flutter instability may occur. Variations of critical flow velocity with both radius ratio and length of carbon nanotubes are investigated and pertinent conclusion is outlined.

  • A modeling method for the modal analysis of a multi-packet blade system having tapered cross section undergoing rotational motion is presented in this paper. Blades are idealized as tapered cantilever beams that are fixed to a rotating disc. The stiffness coupling effects between blades due to the flexibilities of the disc and the shroud are modeled with discrete springs. Hybrid deformation variables are employed to derive the equations of motion. To obtain more general information, the equations of motion are transformed into dimensionless forms in which dimensionless parameters are identified. The effects of the dimensionless parameters including tapered ratio and the number of packets as well as blades on the modal characteristics of the system are investigated with some numerical examples.

축열형 전기온돌의 난방특성과 진동소음 제거에 관한 실험적 연구 (An experimental research on the heating characteristics and the elimination of noise in electric ondol for off-peak storage use)

  • 본 연구에서는 전기온돌의 안방열손실을 감소시키고 축열효과를 향상시키기 위한 방법을 검토하였으며 전기온돌에서 발생하는 진동소음을 감살시킬 수 있는 대책을 제시하였다. 저육들은 6.6[m$^{2}$] 크기의 전기온돌 model을 이용하여 건물의 구조차이와 하향열단열층의 설치유무에 따른 보온특성의 차이를 기록분석하였으며 그 결과 열전도계수가 0.03[kcal/m.hr.deg. C]정도인 내열성 Styropol과 지석 Mortar로 구성된 하향열단열층을 전기온돌의 마닥에 설치할 경우 난방부하의 감소로 인하여 축열효율이 약 2배나 향상된다는 결론을 얻었다. 또한 전기온돌공사시에 발열선을 지지할 수 있는 대각선형 Spacer를 설치하고 발열선이 매설콘크리트가 완전히 양생된 이후에 전력을 인가하면 흔히 전기온돌에서 발생하는 120-960[Hz]의 가청진동소음을 방지할 수 있다는 사실을 실험적으로 확인하였다.

  • In this paper, static and oscillatory loss of stability of carbon nanotube conveying fluid and modelled as a thin-walled beam is investigated. Analytically nonlocal effect, transverse shear and rotary inertia are incorporated in this study. The governing equations and the boundary conditions are derived through Hamilton's principle. Numerical analysis is performed by using extend Galerkin method which enables us to obtain more exact solutions compared with conventional Galerkin method. Variations of critical flow velocity for analytically nonlocal effect, partially nonlocal effect and local effect of carbon nanopipes are investigated and pertinent conclusion is outlined.

  • The sludge oils were produced necessarily in the ships operation, so that it will be the best way to manage the sludge oils inside ship itself from a viewpoint of the prevention of marine oil pollution from ship. The present study deal with the ultrasonic breaking systems which recycle the sludge oil from ships into usable oil to be burnt. The first place, experimental studies were carried out to investigate the homogenizing effect of the marine oils by repeated vibration of ultrasonic transducer. Variation of the properties(viscosity, specific gravity and pH) and the matrix structures for the environment of various marine oils were interpreted to analyze the breaking, dispersion effects by cavity. The experimental results can be useful to the development of sludge oil disposing systems.

면내/면외 변형이 있는 회전 링의 진동해석을 위한 비선형 모델링 (Nonlinear Modelling for the Vibration Analysis of a Rotating Ring with the In-Plane/Out-of-Plane Deformations)

  • Nonlinear models for a thin ring rotating at a constant speed are developed. The geometric nonlinearity of displacements is considered by adopting the Lagrange strain theory for the circumferential strain. By using Hamilton’s principle, the coupled nonlinear partial differential equations are derived, which describe the out-of-plane and in-plane bending, extensional and torsional motions. The natural frequencies are calculated from the linearized equations at various rotational speeds. Finally, the computation results from the nonlinear models are compared with those from a linear model. Based on the comparison, this study recommends which model is appropriate to describe the behavior of the rotating ring.

구동기의 성능 한계를 고려한 구조물의 진동제어 알고리듬의 적용에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Applicability of Structural Vibration Control Algorithm Considering the Performance Limit of Actuator)

  • 본 논문에서는 구조물이 과도한 기진력을 받을 때에 구조물의 진동 제어를 위하여 제안 되어진 여러 가지 포화 제어 알고리듬들의 유용성을 실제적인 관점에서 살펴보았다 제안된 포화 제어 알고리듬 중세서 수정된 뱅뱅 제어 알고리듬이 매우 유용한 것임을 확인할 수 있었으나 이는 제어력 파형 결정 파라미터의 어떤 범위내에서만 효과적이며 그 범위를 넘어서는 경우에 있어서는 제어기를 불안정하게 할 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다 따라서 수정된 뱅뱅 제어 알고리듬의 적용시에 과도한 외부 기진력에 대하여 제어기의 안정적인 작동에 의한 구조물의 진동제어효과를 얻기 위해서 제어력 파형 파라미터를 과도 기진력의 크기에 따라 변화시키는 적응형의 방법을 제안하였고 이의 유용성을 수치실험 및 유압식 질량 감쇠기를 장착한 축소 구조물 검증 실험을 통하여 확인하였다.
