  • Woman officers with the power of the future is likely to be more female officers can increase castration. These changes to the times in order to meet the recent Lady, chosen to increase the Police and military, and female employees in the movement to operate inside the police organization to efficiently is increasing. This study with regard to women soldier and police women a typical one of speecial job of womanpower, there is the purpose of study to suggest the direction to improve the job performing ability through the careful anlysis. On account of the minority in number of women soldier and police women in the group which consist of many men, there are lots of difficulties on duty. In order to keep up with the times for the expansion of opportunities for excellent womanpower, army and police should lead to stronger efforts for them. Besides, in comparison with the general work of womanpower, woman soldier and police woman have a special duty assignments in the groups wihich have a specific predisposition. In conclusion, it is necessary to have lots of politicasl support and cosideration.

Job Satisfaction, Job Stress, and Nursing Performance of Comprehensive Nursing Care Service Ward Nurses and General Ward Nurses (간호·간병통합서비스병동과 일반병동 간호사의 직무만족, 직무스트레스, 간호업무수행)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate and compare job satisfaction, job stress, and nursing task performance for nursing and nursing integrated service wards and general ward nurses to provide basic data for efficient nursing manpower management in nursing and nursing integrated service wards. For comparative research. The subjects were 136 nurses in the nursing and nursing integrated service ward and general ward nurses at a general hospital in D metropolitan area. There was no significant difference between the groups in the job satisfaction, job stress, and nursing task performance of the nursing and nursing integrated service ward nurses and general ward nurses. The performance was high. Factors influencing the performance of nursing tasks were job satisfaction and job stress, with 20.6% of nurses in nursing and nursing integrated service wards and 47.5% of nurses in general wards. Therefore, there is a need for support to improve the ability to perform nursing tasks that can increase job satisfaction and maintain job stress.

The Importance of Work Capability and the Educational Needsfor Optometric Duty (안경사 직무에 관한 작업수행의 중요도와 교육의 필요도)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to document the importance of work capability and the educational needs for optometric duty. Methods: Questionnaires were distributed to 813 optometrists and 89 full-time faculties on nation wide in July, 2008. Results: Statistical analysis showed that high mean of 3.53, maximum of 4, for the importance of work capability, and 3.46 for the educational needs as for the total optometric duty. Especially, optometric dispensing was the highest on the importance of work capability and the educational needs, where as medical ethics and optometric jurisprudence and business management was the lowest. Conclusions: Both optometrists and full-time faculties agreed to the importance of work capability and the educational needs, and therefore it should be reflected in optometric education program.

  • Aims of subject specialist librarian's education is an improvement of their professionalism which could reinforce librarians' ability to achieve their speciality. The curriculum should be competency based one which could gain knowledge and skills to accomplish subject librarian services. The study aims to suggest competency based curriculum that is needed for specialist librarian's work. The study proposes six educational courses and fifteen subjects. Six courses are as followings: resource development, information services, library marketing, user education, subject research, and library administration.

  • This study was performed to deduce the constituents of competence for the practical duty in technical high school's heat treatment and tensile test practice. In order to accomplish this purpose 1) the constituents of competence for the practical duty were deduced through the job analysis and the skill hierarchy analysis of heat treatment and tensile test, 2) the deduced constituents of competence for the practical skill performance were correspond to the Mager's five performance type, that is, discrimination (knowing when to do it, knowing when it's done), problem solving (how to decide what to do it), recall (knowing what to do, knowing why to do it), manipulation (how to do it) and speech (how to say it). The results of this study will be helped to the selection of learning objective, learning content, instruction and evaluation method.

Effects of Self-leadership and Job Involvement on Clinical Competence in General Hospital Nurses (종합병원 간호사의 셀프리더십과 직무몰입이 임상수행능력에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: This study was performed to identify the effects of self-leadership and job involvement on clinical competence in general hospital nurses. Methods: The participants in this study were 443 staff nurses working in general hospitals and having more than 6 months of nursing experience. Data were collected using self-administered questionnaires. Results: There were significant positive correlations between nurses' self-leadership and job involvement, and between nurses' self-leadership and clinical competence. In the multiple regression analysis, clinical career, type of department and self-leadership were significant predictors in explaining nurses' clinical competence and accounted for 28% of the variance in nurses' clinical competence. Conclusion: Study findings suggest that nurses' self-leadership is defined as having an important influence on nurses' clinical competence. In order to strengthen nurses' clinical competence, there is a need to develop education programs to increase nurses' self-leadership.

Relationships among Emotional Leadership, Commitment, Patient Orientation, and Job Performance in Dental Hygienists (치과위생사의 감성리더십, 몰입도, 환자지향성과 직무성과의 관련성)

  • This study intended to search for measures to effectively improve and manage the job performance and personality of dental hygienists. In this study, the effects on job performance of the following variables were analyzed: emotional leadership, commitment, and patient-orientation. The subjects of the study were 328 dental hygienists who were working in a dental clinic and the assessment was made based on a self-administered questionnaire. T-test, one-way ANOVA, and Stepwise multiple regression were performed for analysis. The average of emotional leadership was 3.48 points, and commitment was 3.30 points. Also, the average of patient-orientation was 3.95 points and that of job performance was 3.39 points. Emotional leadership and commitment, as well as patient-orientation and job performance, showed positive correlation (p<0.001). The factor with the highest correlation with job performance was patient-orientation (${\beta}=0.306$), followed by the following: relationship management (${\beta}=0.209$); age (${\beta}=0.162$); self-awareness (${\beta}=0.139$); social-awareness (${\beta}=0.123$); and clinic type (${\beta}=0.101$). Based from the results of the study, there is a need to recognize the relationship among emotional leadership, commitment, and patient-orientation in connection with job performance.

  • Successful industries that have maintained their competitiveness are characterized by well-established skills framework system. Skills framework establishes the agreed-upon, industry-identified knowledge, skills and abilities required to succeed in the workplace. Skills framework forms a solid foundation for the development of outcomes-based instruction and assessment, thus it benefits industry, students, educators and government. Each group has a major stake in the education of our students and in the efficient development of a productive workforce. Particularly in fast-changing fields like information security, relevant data that accurately reflect current and future knowledge and skills enable timely direction of resources, development and revision of industry-relevant curriculum, and efficient development of career information and job profiles. Skills framework occupies an indispensable position in any dialog concerning education or training in technical fields. In this study, we develop the skills framework for information security professionals.

  • Smart work, which is a new way of working at out-of-home instead of an office, has become a widespread practice because it is considered as beneficial for both organization and employee. This study is conducted to investigate the differences about attitude toward the organizational effectiveness between smart worker and office worker in a call center. The result showed that the perceived advantages of smart worker(higher service climate, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, service capability) are more positive than those of office workers. Based on this result, the implications and policy directions of smart work were discussed.

Influence of Professional Self-concept, Ego-resilience, and Job Stress on Job Performance of Nurses who are Reemployed after Career Interruption (경력단절 후 재취업한 간호사의 전문직 자아개념, 자아탄력성, 직무 스트레스가 업무수행능력에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the influence of professional self-concept, ego-resilience, and job stress on job performance in reemployed nurses after career interruption. Methods: The participants were 207 nurses who worked at hospitals with more than 100 beds located in Seoul, Gyeonggi and Gangwon provinces. The nurses had experienced a career interruption of at least one year, and had less than five years of experience at the current workplace. The collected data were analyzed utilizing SPSS 24.0 program and using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression. Results: The participants' job performance, professional self-concepts, ego-resilience, and job stress showed significant positive correlations. It was found that the professional self-concept, ego-resilience, and job stress had an effect on the participant's job performance in order, and explained 51.3% of variance in job performance. Conclusion: To improve the job performance of career disconnected nurses, it is necessary to reinforce job stress control, professional self-concept, and level of ego-resilience.
