The purpose of this study is to analyze the self-status of fire service personnel to identify their effect on self-efficacy and job satisfaction, and to improve the performance of their tasks in the field and perform their tasks efficiently. A survey of 177 current firefighters in the southern city of Gyeonggi Province conducted a correlation analysis and regression analysis through SPSS 22.0. The first study found that in relation to the self-status factor and the self-efficacy factor of firefighting services, the self-efficacy is rather high and the self-regulating effect is very high. Second, the effects of the self-status factor on the self-efficacy were significant in order of type Adult (A), type Free Child (FC), and type Adapted Child (AC). Third, analysis of correlation between self-status factors and job satisfaction factors showed inadequate correlation in all job satisfaction factors for Critical Parent (CP) types, and static correlation in all job satisfaction for Nurturing Parent (NP) types. Type Adapted Child (AC) was less satisfying to itself, to itself, to pay, to promote, to co-workers. Thus, the current strategic approach based on rationality needs to be strengthened by lowering the authority of the Critical Parent (CP) function in terms of self-status factors and enhancing the Adapted Child (AC) function in the lower satisfaction level of the parent.

Education for an organization is implemented to improve the organizational and each individual's performance. However, the actual results are not as expected. Accordingly, this study is committed to investigate the education related factors that have impact on the organizational performance, which is defined by the trainee's organizational commitment and work performance. Based on the acquired knowledge, we suggest things to consider when designing corporate training for performance creation. First, it is investigated whether the task value and job relevance(educational content characteristics) and the degree of support for education within the company(organizational characteristics) affect learning-transfer of trainees. After that, the causal relationship from the learning-transfer to organizational commitment and work performance(organizational effectiveness) is analyzed. In this overall process, the effect of on-/off-line education is analyzed and compared. As a result, it is found that the task value, the job relevance, and organizational compensation have a significant impact on the learning-transfer, and the learning-transfer has impact on organization commitment and work performance. In addition, the moderating effect of the on-/off- education is identified. This study is conducted only with franchise enterprises and as a future study, a more general sampling is required to extend this work.
The purpose of this study is to identify the educational needs among social workers in social welfare facilities in Jeju province concerning lack of knowledge, skill and attitude, and establish the systematic education for prosecuting diverse training and suggest fundamental data for designing future curriculum. The results of analyzing top 10 educational needs for the workers are as follows: firstly technics for managing crises, understanding and practice for clients (characteristics, human right, safety and health), case management (basic), counseling technique (basic), case management (advanced), counseling technique (advanced), planning and operating social welfare program, managing client response and emotional labor, improving competence for communication (between staffs and clients, etc.), and finally assessing project outcome (project plan, execution, management and assessment, etc.). Social workers in social welfare facilities in the area have highly recognized the necessity of profession centred education. However, they had low satisfaction with the diversity of profession education in the Jeju island and the systematic training courses. This survey suggests the various results concerning qualitative growth of profession education, expansion of job-centred curriculum and security of professional instructors to fulfil systematic education training for social workers.

The purpose of this study was to identify the status of task performance and working conditions for nutrition teachers in order to determine new ways to improve the current nutrition system and increase job satisfaction among teachers. From the 14th of July to the 26th of September 2014, email questionnaires were distributed to and collected from 311 nutrition teachers nationwide, including teachers at elementary, middle, and high schools. The results are as follows. First, over 90% of nutrition teachers indicated that their work was demanding. In particular, 63.5% of nutrition teachers at high schools worked more than 40 hours of overtime per month. Second, 73% of nutrition teachers provided nutrition education, but the percentage significantly decreased at upper levels of school. Nutrition teachers had difficulties teaching due to the absence of standard teaching materials and a lack of time due to excessive work. Teachers also wanted 30 hours of job training once per year during their vacation organized by the regional Department of Education. Third, around half of the nutrition teachers considered that promotion and transfer professions are necessary for systematic foodservice and education. An additional allowance was demanded by nutrition teachers at schools that serve two or three meals per day. Considering the results, alleviating the workload of nutrition teachers and more time preparing nutrition classes for student are required. Fair evaluation of job performance that considers work conditions of nutrition teachers should be considered.

Recently, developments of engineering technology are too fast change to educate the students in the college of engineering. The lag between the innovation of the technology and the education of the college of engineering becomes larger and larger. In this situation, the appropriate education update system is needed to change the curricula for the updated engineering education. This study analyzed the factors affecting organizational adaptation among the members of SMEs. Until now, research on organizational adaptation has been mainly conducted in large corporations or public institutions. Very little research has been conducted on SME members. Factors affecting the organizational adaptation of employees were set by individual factors and job environment factors. In the individual factors, the sub-variables were set as self-efficacy, optimism, and resilience, and in the job environment factors, organizational fairness and organizational culture. The sample data were surveyed using a survey method such as visit, telephone call, e-mail and fax. 98 data were used for the analysis. Statistical analysis was performed using regression analysis. As a result, self-efficacy, optimism, and resilience of individual factors were analyzed as positive variables for organizational adaptation of employees, and organizational fairness in the job environment was analyzed as variables that did not positively affect organizational adaptation of employees. However, the organizational culture of the job environment was analyzed as a variable that positively affects organizational adaptation of employees. These results showed that the fair application of wage level, workload, compensation, and opinion reflection did not affect the organizational adaptation of employees. On the other hand, in the preceding studies, organizational adaptability was conducted mainly in large corporations, but this study was able to suggest practical implications in analyzing organizational adaptability among SME members.
The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of Ethical Leadership on job engagement, organizational commitment and unethical pro-organizational behavior and to analyze the dual mediation effect of job engagement and organizational commitment. We used 565 questionnaires collected by members in domestic companies. The result of the analyses are as follows: First, Ethical Leadership has no positive effect on unethical pro-organizational behavior. Second, in the relationship between Ethical Leadership and unethical pro-organizational behavior, job engagement does not play a mediating role, but organizational commitment plays a mediating role. Third, in the relationship between Ethical Leadership and unethical pro-organizational behavior, job engagement and organizational commitment play a dual mediating role. The theoretical implication is that this study once again confirmed the behavior patterns such as cognition, emotion, attitude and behavior of members in the organization. In addition, this study can contribute to theoretical expansion by explaining that these behavior patterns are identified by social exchange theory. The practical implication is that this study confirmed that members in the actual management field are willing to perform unethical pro-organizational behavior in order to achieve the organization's goal efficiently and effectively. Therefore, it is suggested that active efforts should be made to recognize these negative influences and possibilities at the organization level and to create a clean and fair organizational culture and environment that everyone can recognize at the social level.
