Influence Factors on User Satisfaction of Commercial Areas in Downtown -focused on commercial areas near Cheonan railway station and central bus terminal- (도심 상업지역 이용자 만족도에 미치는 영향요소 분석 -천안역과 종합버스터미널 주변 상업지역을 중심으로-)

  • The aim of this study is to analyze the general satisfaction of the commercial areas near Cheonan central bus terminal and the rail-station and to extract various environmental factors of the city center which give effect to the user satisfaction of commercial area. As the result of the analyses, the environmental factors of the city center make a difference between the commercial areas of Cheonan central bus terminal and of the station in the aspects of user satisfaction. The user satisfaction of the commercial areas is appeared highest in 'comfort of walking environments' and 'convenience of commerce business transaction' which were environmental factors of the city center. For reactivation of the commercial area near Cheonan rail-station are needed improvement of walking environments and relocation of facilities as complex mall and bank etc.

Image Retrieval using Local Color Histogram and Shape Feature (지역별 색상 분포 히스토그램과 모양 특징을 이용한 영상 검색)

  • This paper is proposed to image retrieval system using color and shape feature. Color feature used to four maximum value feature among the maximum value extracted from local color distribution histogram. The preprocessing of shape feature consist of edge extraction and weight central point extraction and angular sampling. The sum of distance from weight central point to contour and variation and max/min used to shape feature. The similarity is estimated compare feature of query image with the feature of images in database and the candidate of image is retrieved in order of similarity. We evaluate the effectiveness of shape feature and color feature in experiment used to two hundred of the closed image. The Recall and the Precision is each 0.72 and 0.53 in the result of average experiment. So the proposed method is presented useful method.

  • The purpose of this study was to provide directions to help enter and expand long-distance routes by analyzing the characteristics of AirAsia X's network construction with Malaysia Airlines. To this end, long-distance route data was extracted from the OAG Schedule Analyzer and the network was analyzed on a two-period basis using SNA. Since AirAsia X's entry into long-range routes, Malaysia Airlines has steadily reduced its routes across the entire region. On the other hand, it is analyzed that AirAsia X is building an expanded network by increasing its network in Northeast Asia instead of ultra-long range routes. Studies have shown that LCCs also have potential growth in the long-distance route market of less than 7,000 km. The results of this study may help LCC establish a long-distance market entry and network deployment strategy.

  • The damaged district by flooding has been changed from mainly farmland to cities due to the weather phenomena which is different from the past. This has caused not only irreparable damage of people's lives and property but social infrastructures. There also exist serious damages such as isolation of drivers and traffic jam as the roads were flooded. In this study, we suggested a method to develop a flood risk index focused on not Si, Gun or Gu but roads. In addition, flood risk index in the roads just at the moment, when it rains quantitatively, will be provided by using real-time rainfall information provided by the Weather Center. Then it should be helpful to prevent people from being isolated by flooded roads in advance.

GIS-based Network Analysis for the Understanding of Aggregate Resources Supply-demand and Distribution in 2018 (GIS 네트워크 분석을 이용한 2018년 골재의 수요-공급과 유통 해석)

  • Based on the supply location, demand location, and transportation network, aggregate supply-demand characteristics and aggregate distribution status were analyzed from the results of the closest distance, service areas, and location-allocation scenarios using GIS network analysis. As a result, it was found that the average transport distance of aggregates from the supplier was 6 km on average, the average range of 7 km for sand, and 10 km for gravel was found to reach the destination. In particular, the simulated service area covers about 92% in Seoul-Gyeonggi Province, 85% in Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Province, and more than 90% in Daejeon-Sejong-Chungnam Province. These results have a significant implication in quantitatively interpreting primary data on aggregate supply-demand. Furthermore, these results suggest the possibility of a wide-area quantitative analysis of aggregate supply regions necessary for establishing a basic aggregate plan. The results also evaluated by the site-allocation scenario show that aggregate supply may be possible through companies less than 200 with large-amounts quarries, which is the 700 companies currently supplying small amounts of aggregates on the country. Therefore, in terms of distribution of aggregates, a policy approach is needed to form an appropriate market for regions with high and low density of aggregate supply services, and the necessity of regional distribution and re-evaluation is suggested through an aggregate supply analysis demand across the country. Furthermore, in analyzing the supply-demand network for the aggregate market, additional research is needed to establish long-term policies for the aggregate industry and related industries.

  • The major trade area of the South Korea is divided into Asia, America and Europe. Generally, marine transportation is the main method of mass cargo transportation, but unlike others, rail transportation is available in the Europe area. Also, as a result of China's growth, South Korea's position as northeast Asia logistics hub has weakened. That is the reason why we need to pay attention to rail transportation, an alternative competitive structure. In accordance with this background, this study focuses on analyzing economic feasibility comparing transportation routes to Europe using Trans-Korea Railway and Trans-Siberia Railway. Factors of analysis are transportation distance, period, cost and additional cost As the result, considering economic feasibility, TKR-TSR route(Route1) is the best transportation approach for six routes. Therefore, using TKR-TSR railway will be the best way to increase nation's competitiveness, in response to Russia government's far-east development strategy.

  • The Korea high speed train was launched from Seoul to Busan of 1st construction phase at 1st April, 2004. This huge project will be lead to a great change in korean society such as existing mode choice behavior change and the concentrating on KTX station zone lifestyle pattern's change. With the result to opening high speed train railway was diminished train journey time between Seoul to Busan from 4 hours 10 minute to 2 hours 40 minutes, and has been change population movement, favorite location of corporation headquarters, existing metropolitan transportation pattern and so on. In the middle of this study, I choose to analyse Seoul-Cheonan/Asan stations, Seoul-Deajeon stations, Seoul-Deagu stations, Seoul-Pusan stations. This study have a information to analyse among as like movement of population, status of employee structure, usage of land, movement inland transportation mode. I sure that this study will lead to helpful prediction both 2nd phase of Kyoung-bu high-speed railway and Ho-nam high-speed railway in advance.

A Comparative Study on Income and Travel Price Effects on Korean nternational Tourism Demand (내국인 국제관광수요에 대한 소득 및 여행가격효과 비교연구)

  • This paper investigates the characteristics of Korean international tourism demand for selected 13 destination countries by estimating income and travel price elasticities using quarterly data from 1990:1 to 2006:2. Major findings of this paper could be summarized as follows. First, long-run equilibrium relationships between Korean international tourism demand for 13 destination countries, real income and travel price variables are confirmed. Second, the estimated income elasticities of Korean tourism demand for 13 destination countries are all elastic; especially, those for Australia, Philippine, Thailand and China are very elastic. And their estimated values vary with destination countries, which implies the income effects for 13 destination countries are all different; however there is no evidence that the income effects could be characterized by traveling distances. Third, the estimated travel price elasticities of Korean tourism demand for 13 destination countries also differ from destination countries; in most cases, they are elastic except those for Hong Kong and United States. The most travel price elastic countries are Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

A Study on Vertiport Location and Corridor Selections using GIS Analysis in Busan Area (GIS 분석을 활용한 부산권 버티포트 위치 및 회랑 선정에 관한 연구)

  • As urban traffic congestion and environmental pollution are becoming significant issues in major cities, Urban Air Mobility (UAM) is gaining attention as an efficient solution. In this study, we conducted a geographic information system (GIS)-based spatial analysis and clustering algorithm considering the actual data of the terrain and infrastructure in the Busan area, through which we were able to select the location of vertiports and corridors (flight routes) for the UAM operation. Based on the Gimhae International Airport, which is expected to be the center of the UAM infrastructure system in the Busan region, we judged that three vertiport locations in the target area were suitable. Subsequently, we used the A* (A-star) algorithm considering Ground Risk to select a flight path that minimized both risk and distance. Through this, we confirmed a risk reduction effect of 80.168% compared to the minimum distance route.

  • 국제전기통신연합 (ITU)에서 주관하여 2015년 11월 2일-27일 스위스 제네바에서 개최되는 WRC-15(세계전파 통신회의, World Radiocommunication Conference)회의에서는 28개 의제에 대해서는 의제별 주파수대역별로 국제전파규칙(Radio Regulations)을 개정하게 된다. WRC-15 본회의에는 200여개 ITU회원국의 국가대표 3,000여명이 모여서 회의를 진행하게 되며, 원활한 회의진행과 의견 결정을 위하여 각 국가별 제안서 제출은 지양하고, 해당 지역별 국가들의 공동제안서를 중심으로 논의하게 된다. ITU에는 현재 6개의 지역(유럽, 러시아, 아랍, 북남미, 아프리카 및 아태지역) 공동체가 등록되어 있으며, 아태지역은 아태지역 전파통신협의체(Asia-Pacipic Telecommunity)를 구성하여 WRC 의제에 대응하고 있다. 지난 2015년 7월 27일-8월 1일에는 WRC의제에 대한 아태지역의 공동제안서(PACP)를 작성하기 위한 최종 회의(APG-15 5차회의)가 서울 힐튼호텔에서 개최되었다. 과학업무 의제의 경우, 5개 의제에 대한 공동제안서가 작성되었으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 7145-7250 MHz 대역의 지구탐사위성(지구대우주)업무의 1순위 분배 지지, 2) 9,200~9,300MHz 및 9,900~10,400MHz대역의 지구탐사위성업무의 신규 SAR용 1순위 분배 지지, 3) 우주선 근거리통신용 410-420MHz 대역 관련 거리제한 규정 삭제 지지, 4) 윤초 삭제 지지, 5) 나노 위성 및 피코 위성의 규정개정 연구를 위한 차기 WRC회의 의제 수행 지지를 들 수 있다. 따라서 본 발표에서는 7월에 개최된 APG-15 5차회의의 주요 결과를 소개하고, WRC-15회의에 대비하여 국내 전파천문업무 보호를 위한 주요 이슈에 대해 소개를 하고자 한다.
