  • We propose an algorithmic approach for handling linguistic values defined in the same linguistic variable. Using the proposed approach, we can explicitly capture the differences of individuals' subjectivity with respect to linguistic values defined in the same linguistic variable. The proposed approach can be employed as a useful tool for discovering hidden relationship among linguistic values defined in the same linguistic variable. Consequently, it provides a basis for improving the precision of knowledge acquisition in the development of fuzzy systems including fuzzy expert systems, fuzzy decision tree, fuzzy cognitive map, ok. In this paper, we apply the proposed approach to a collective linguistic assessment among multiple experts.

  • The purpose of the study was to suggest the characteristics and goals of the science teaching model for use as criteria in selecting the appropriate teaching model for science in secondary schools. These characteristics and the goals have been organized based on the analyses of the literature on the teaching and/or instructional model. The teaching models have been classified into four areas, and the characteristics and goals of each area have been summarized as follows: $\cdot$ Traditional models: teaching of scientific knowledge through lectures, acquisition of scientific knowledge through discovery, acquisition of inquiry process skills through inquiry-based teaching/learning $\cdot$ Transitional models: demonstration and discovery as teaching strategies, acquisition of inquiry process skills through inquiry approach, acquisition and change of scientific knowledge $\cdot$ Modernistic model - conceptual change models: differentiation of scientific knowledge, exchange of misconceptions for scientific concepts - learning cycle models: conceptual differentiation, exchange of misconceptions, acquisition of science process skills Also described in this paper are the model's characteristics and goals that can be used as the criteria for selecting the appropriate teaching model for the subject that will be taught.

  • The Seventh Curriculum makes sure that those students who don't have a proper understanding of contents required at a certain stage take a remedial course. But a trend contrary to the intention is formed since there is no systematic education for such a course and thus more students get to fall into the group of low achievement. In particular, solving a simultaneous equation in a rote way without understanding influences negatively students' achievement. Schoenfeld introduced the basic elements of one's own mathematical problem solving process and behavior, referred to Polya's. Employing Schoenfeld's strategy, this study aimed to induce students' active participation in math classes, as well as to focus on a mathematical problem solving process during the study. Two students were selected from a remedial course at 00 Middle School and administered with a qualitative case study method over 17 lessons, each of which lasted for 30 minutes. In the beginning, they used such knowledge as facts and definitions a lot. There was a tendency of their resorting to intuitive knowledge more when they lacked basic knowledge or met with a difficult question. As the lessons were given, however, they improved their ability to implement algorithm procedures and used more familiar ones with the developed common procedures in the area of resources.

  • It is useful to find something valuable for researching through literature based discovery. Swanson's ABC model, known as literature based discovery, suggests the relationship between entities undiscovered yet. This study tries to find the valid relationship between entities by referring to citation which connects articles on similar topic. We collect citation from references in articles, and extract important concepts in titles and abstracts through text mining techniques. We reproduce the relationship between fish oil and Raynaud's disease, which is known as one of Swanson's works, and compare the results with entities identified from traditional approach.

  • The Power and Knowledge are attractive materials that could be used in all of cultural content genre with storytelling. Because he, whether or not own knowledge, could be an important tool of narrative strategy for popularity keeping with a confrontation and conflict. This study aimed to explore the power and knowledge appearing in . For this purpose, it used the structuralistic methodologies of Saussure and Levi-Strauss, analyzing binary oppositions between the characters mainly connected with the knowledge and power. Three categories was analytic object, 'Place(abbey, book repository)' 'Debate on laughter', 'The argument for heresy.' As a result, we found the three materials had narrative strategy fully following binary oppositional structure. In that movie, which was deployed in a basis with knowledge and power, we eventually found that contemporary reality veiled the truth was paradoxically revealed with these narrative strategy. And we confirmed that it was very important the attribute of knowledge and power in narrative processing.

  • What is the role of welfare discourse? Michel Foucault suggests the power and knowledge relation that power in a particular society and period controls the society and members by creating knowledge affecting the formation of cognitive and normative systems. Having the formation of exclusions(constraint of cognition), and materiality and reality(normative system) as an analytical framework, this article attempts the exploration of welfare discourse analyses with public statements relating to welfare subjects of the four former Korean presidents. As a result, It is found that dominant epistemic system is formed by balancing welfare and growth and regarding jobs as the best welfare(the linkage of welfare-growth-employment), emphasizing individual economic responsibility and self-reliance, pursuing welfare selectivism, and excluding comprehensive welfare provisions. At the same time, it is observed that power is not always formulating systematic knowledge and that there is a gap between cognition and norm. While the Foucauldian discourse analysis provides a causal inference about low social welfare expenditure, excessive focus on the role of power as knowledge generator and infuser causes a question of how to accommodate contemporary changes into knowledge system.

  • Research on reverse knowledge transfer from subsidiaries to headquarters is recently gaining prominence. The debate regarding the precedents affecting the phenomenon has yet to reach a consensus. Therefore, this paper attempts to identify the effects of an organization's subsidiaries' knowledge transfer capacity (KTC) on reversely transferred local market information (LMI) to headquarters. The present study also examines the moderating effect of intrinsic KTC on the relationship between extrinsic KTC and RKT in an effort to gain better insights into KTC. Through sample data gathered from South Korea, knowledge development capability and subsidiary willingness were found to be vital precedents for successful reverse transferring of LMI to headquarters. Furthermore, we also found that subsidiary willingness functions as an interfering moderator between the relationship of knowledge development capability and RKT. Theoretical contributions and practical implications of these findings are discussed.

  • This paper was written for the purpose of using as the theoretical basic data of judgment in the situation that there is a growing demand for intelligent design theory to be taught in public schools along with evolution theory. In order to verify the possibility that intelligent design theory, which has little empirical evidence unlike evolutionary theory, could be a scientific theory, what intelligence is and whether the trace of intelligence is actually found in nature was confirmed through literature. If intelligent elements, which are traces of intelligence in nature, are discovered empirically in nature, then intelligent design theory can be recognized as a scientific theory and can also be taught in public schools. The identity and traces of intelligence were found in relevant literature and the traces are found not only in various artificial products derived from human beings such as thinking, knowledge, and civilization, but also in all phenomena of nature. Based on these results, this paper provides a discussion on how the evolutionary theory and intelligent design theory should be handled in the field of school education, as well as how to resolve the conflicts between evolutionary theory and intelligent design theory.

  • Analogical reasoning is a mathematically useful way of thinking. By analogy reasoning, students can improve problem solving, inductive reasoning, heuristic methods and creativity. The purpose of this study is to analyze the analogical reasoning of preservice mathematics teachers while constructing quadratic curves defined by eccentricity. To do this, we produced tasks and 28 preservice mathematics teachers solved. The result findings are as follows. First, students could not solve a target problem because of the absence of the mathematical knowledge of the base problem. Second, although student could solve a base problem, students could not solve a target problem because of the absence of the mathematical knowledge of the target problem which corresponded the mathematical knowledge of the base problem. Third, the various solutions of the base problem helped the students solve the target problem. Fourth, students used an algebraic method to construct a quadratic curve. Fifth, the analysis method and potential similarity helped the students solve the target problem.
