This study was intended to investigate the quality control in technical services outsourcing in academic libraries. For this purpose, investigated related papers and the experience of outsourced technical services in three academic libraries. Data from senior librarians charged with revision of catalogs are gathered. Issues of catalogs production and quality control are explored and statistics of outsourcing is analysed. Quality control is a major factor of the success of technical services outsourcing operation. The some suggestions in order to enhance quality of vendor-supplied cataloging are presented.

ASIS(American Society for Industrial Security) is already rationing their standard to the world and succeeded in organizing these professionals. In base of that result, there are the executions of the various programs in accordance with the specialization and globalization strategy over the last 60 years. This study looked at the overseas practices that strengthen the capacity of the internal security specialists and promote the development of knowledge and technology through the mutual visits between the network through a survey of ASIS. We can accept viable and sustainable growth strategy, specialization and globalization strategy, such as ASIS model for the various activities performed by the past 60 years to improve the efficiency of the country's private security activities. It will be something we ought to be a new starting point.

Recent college education in the face of the Fourth Industrial Revolution highlights problem-solving skills or creativity over the passing of professional knowledge. In addition, the need for convergence education is growing further as high-tech information and communication technologies are converging to create innovative changes. In this study, after IT convergence education was conducted and after general convergence education was conducted, the difference in creative problem solving capabilities was compared and analyzed. The study found that students who received IT convergence education had higher creative problem solving capabilities than general convergence education, and showed a statistically significant difference. In order to foster creative problem-solving skills, universities will need to promote IT convergence education in various courses.

This study is to examine how activities using local multi -cultural resources and world geography lessons using the CCAP(Cross-Cultural Awareness Programme) affect students' multi-cultural understanding. Activities using local multi-cultural resources were carried by visiting in an alien worker community, volunteering in multicultural center, attending on UNESCO ASP(Associated School Program), and making radio broadcasting program associated with 'SCN FM' which is a local broadcasting station on the weekend. And world geography lessons using the CCAP were conducted with 5 classes including orientation by inviting foreign instructors from that place after reconstructing the Southeast and South Asia unit of the countries such as Pakistan, the Philippines, Myanmar and Cambodia. According to twice questionnaire survey conducted before and after activities using local multi-cultural resources and world geography lessons using the CCAP, it appeared that students had familiarity more than before through direct meeting with foreigners inside and outside classroom, and understood and respected other cultures by acquiring contextual regional knowledge. In the end, multi-cultural activities and world geography lessons using the CCAP contributed to students' global citizenship, which overcame prejudice toward third world cultures. Like that, if world geography classes provide continually students with opportunities to experience directly diverse cultures inside and outside classroom, world geography overcome negative image that it transmit decontextual regional knowledge and is regarded as the subject that is very fit for nurturing global citizenship based on contextual knowledge, consideration and tolerance needed in global and multi-cultural society.

The purpose of this study is to develop a model of the TOC (Table of Contents)-based research record system and to comparatively analyze its usability, in order to comprehensively and systematically manage and practically use the various research records generated from the entire process of research and development. For this purpose, the templates for technical recording and the components of each item were proposed to enable technical recording based on TOC, and structured contents were designed to organically connect between these TOC technical records and existing research records. Also, a database logical schema was developed to design a database, and a test collection was constructed on the basis of research records and TOC technical records. Finally, the model of research record system was constructed by designing TOC record search system and user interface including integrated search system. Based on this model, the usability assessment was performed by comparing the existing distributed general systems with the TOC-based research record system. As a result of the comparative analysis of these two systems, the TOC-based research record system showed generally higher utilization of research records than the general systems.

The deviant behaviors on cyberspace in Korea are increased recently because of the unbalanced development between the social ethics and the technological improvement on information and communication technology. To overcome this, educations on information and communication ethics are executed in school. However most of the educations is to deliver the knowledge on the disfunction of informationization and rules of netiquette without the analysis of the psychological characteristics on the cyberspace. Therefore, educations on information and communication ethics, in which the changes of social behaviors and value attitude are essential, is ineffective by making the students as passive and enervated users. In this research, we developed a teaching-learning model for cultivating consciousness of information and communication ethics by the establishment of ego identity on cyberspace and then proved the effectiveness by the experiment in school. Students can raise their abilities on active dealing with the given situation and context according to this teaching-learning model.

Ontology alignment is the way to share and reuse of ontology knowledge. Because of the ambiguity of concept, most ontology alignment systems combine a set of various measures and complete enumeration to provide the satisfactory result. However, calculating process becomes more complex and required time increases exponentially since the number of concept increases, more errors can appear at the same time. Lately the focus is on meta-matching using the heuristic algorithm. Existing meta-matching system tune extra parameter and it causes complex calculating, as a consequence, the results in the various data of specific domain are not good performed. In this paper, we propose a high performance algorithm by using DCS that can solve ontology alignment through simple process. It provides an efficient search strategy according to distribution of Levy Flight. In order to evaluate the approach, benchmark data from the OAEI 2012 is employed. Through the comparison of the quality of the alignments which uses DCS with state of the art ontology matching systems.

Great attention has been paid to absorptive capacity (AC) as a means of technological innovation. However, few developing countries have demonstrated real success in the development of their technologies and economies. Global issues such as climate change, contagious disease, etc. require more active cooperation between developing and developed countries. This paper makes the novel argument that the donor's transplanting capacity (TC) should be developed and coevolved in concert with the recipient country's AC. Review of the literature shows that AC depends on a prior knowledge base and an intensity of effort. In this article, we analysed the case of KIST and suggest that codification of development experience, localization of innovation capacity, and donor committment comprise the core elements of TC. Nonaka (1994) argued that interaction between tacit knowledge and explicit knowledge can synergize to increase the overall store of available knowledge. Development experience, which leans heavily toward tacit knowledge, should be transformed into explicit knowledge for more efficient technology diffusion. The technological environments of recipient countries vary from those of their donors, which is why innovation capacity should conform to local conditions in order to make transplantation smoother. Donor committment is also critical for successfully transmitting valuable experience.

Recording to development of info-communication, recent educational paradigm asks not for a passive transmitter but an active constructor who can solve the various complicated problems in real situations. Such a change asks for the educational setting which includes sharing ideas and information rather than possessing them by themselves. Learning through presentation has many problems which are few chances of presentation as well as reusing of presentation data. etc. This study suggested the strategy which are promoting interactions through presentation class and using practically. For this, role of the presentation data provider and learner was suggested, also strategies to implement of the presentation learning support system step by step. Through the strategy of this paper could maintain the active communicating relationship between the learners. Without the limitation of the time and space, the real time communication is made while looking at the presentation data of the other party, the teaming effect by the presentation teaming strategy is expected to be high.
