The objective of this study is to assess the economic impacts that ensue from the ubiquitous spectrum monitoring project(u-SMP) by employing a contingent valuation method(CVM) to provide policy-makers with useful and responsible information. Importance of investigating the u-SMP service and its economic desirability cannot be overemphasized to actively cope with varying environment for spectrum use in that the spectrum monitoring contributes to the public welfare. According to estimating results, annually WTP per household is 1,268 Korean Won. Consequently, the annual benefit of u-SMP is about 7.9 billion Korean won. This result contributes to robust policy-makings for the u-SMP, to uncovering the economic value of the u-SMP, and to obtaining policy implications for activating the spectrum use.

In recent years, a growing concern exists in watershed and stream improvement projects. Under these circumstances, this paper estimates monetary value of the attributes of alternatives for rehabilitation of hydrologic cycle using choice experiments. Choice experiments shows vivid image and estimates a willingness to pay based on their preference for environmental goods. A preliminary survey shows that the attributes of the Anyangcheon watershed are flood-damage possibilities, Instreamflow, water quality, river characteristic and estimates the tax for the Anyangcheon watershed improvements. We surveyed 200 citizens were selected as samples of watershed beneficing in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province and used conditional logit model to analyze the implicit values of the attributive per household. The benefit of the attributes by province based on the implicit price obtained from estimated parameters were calculated. This study is expected to contribute to the decision-making process for policy-makers by providing useful methodological framework and quantitative information related to watershed improvement projects.

Media technologies that have made the hyper-connected age change the way people use communication text. Ads texts actively used by companies are storytelling and storydoing. These two advertising texts are very effective in inducing people's emotions and forming participatory behavior. People's thinking tendency also influence persuasion. The results of this study are as follows according to the type of ads text and the thinking tendency of consumers. Consumers' attitudes toward ads turned out to be more positive in synthetic thinking. In analytical thinking, the storytelling ads texts induced more favorable responses. On the other hand, in comprehensive thinking, the story doing text was effective. The same result was found in the perception of premium value, willingness to pay premium price, and repurchase intention.

Cryptocurrency has limitations to be used as an actual payment method due to the scalability problem of the blockchain consensus protocol, and various off-chain solutions to solve these limitations are being studied. In this paper, we design an efficient off-chain payment channel using one-way hash function and implement the designed payment channel using Ethereum smart contract. In addition, the experiment was conducted to measure and analyze execution time and cost for each method by deploying it in the same environment as the previously implemented plasma MVP. As a result, compared with plasma MVP, the proposed solution was able to reduce the total cumulative time by about 34% and reduce the overall execution cost by about 41%.

This study attempted to estimate the subscribers' utility for IMT mobile data services by measuring willingness to pay(hereafter WTP). A survey to potential IMT subscribers has been done and contingent valuation method(hereafter CVM) was applied. CVM is generally believed to be one of the most popular methods used for quantifying the value of non-market goods or services particularly by asking respondents of WTP. The result of this study showed that WTP for the IMT mobile data service is 33,283 won per month. Taking into account the current average voice ARPU(Average Revenue Per User), we could estimate the subscribers' utility for 4G mobile voice and data services.

Despite consumers' increasing awareness and interests in innovative wearable devices, the sales growth has been stagnant. To analyze this phenomenon, we investigate consumer preferences for various innovative features embedded in wearable devices. Conducting conjoint analysis on smartwatches, we empirically show that the curse of innovation can occur when the consumer's expected utility from the smartwatch falls short of his/her psychological cost associated with behavior change from smartwatch usage. Therefore, our findings provide managerial implications on the R&D strategy for new technologies and more importantly on the marketing strategy easing consumers' resistance to highly innovative products.

Nowadays the banks, with a wide spread of credit transaction practice in every business, offer better services to their customers, while the automation of banking is being made more rapid progress in th light of efficient banking service. For example, it is true that the automation of cash payment for customers goes on its progress and the competition between companies is getting more serious. Lately the banks that pursue "Banking Automation System" expand distribution of cash dispenser for the better electronic computer service and for the better service for their customers in quality. Therefore the makers producing "CD" accelerate their development of CD in various ways in order to secure MIS as the leading group of th field. CD, a kind of an automatic paying, is being used generally, and has various functions and its design is getting more compact than ever. Under this situation, I studied more trustworthy and convenient CD design suggestions in the way of case study on the basis of the process of developing CD and I suggest the better way of developing the design of CD in the future.of CD in the future.

In the 2000s, the PC package game market has withered, but the internet based on-line game, the wireless internet based mobile game and high-powered console game market have been main stream. Among those markets, mobile game market has rapidly increased because it has 'mobility' that overcomes the limitation of time and area. But, unlike other platforms, mobile game user have to pay the higher price for download mobile game contents through the wireless internet and mobile game developer have to overcome the limitation of storage memory capacity.of mobile phone. Chiefly, the image data consume the storage capacity of mobile game contents, this paper present a technology to optimize image data for mobile game contents through analyzing type of compression method and image formats.

Although there are some technical reports on the example of Korea's first rocket, the Naro, there has been no studies on why there were two technical incidences in the space development programs which massive amount of physical and human resources were invested. For this, the objective of this study is to investigate the example of the Naro from the aspect of management and institutions as well as technical in terms of the responsibility of the R&D organization. Most important part in the responsibility of the R&D organization is the professional responsibility and it is difficult to attain the goals when they are diluted by political situations. Furthermore, this study also looked at the cause of the failure to exert righteous sovereign authority in the conflict with Russia from the discrepancy of goals between the authority and the agent, and studied efforts to prevent the recurrence of discrepancy.
