An Analysis on the Connectivity and Duplication of Curriculum Contents between Elementary and Secondary Levels on 'Family Life' Contents Area of the Practical Arts(Technology & Home Economics) Subject in the 2015 Revised Curriculum (2015 개정 실과(기술·가정) 교육과정의 초·중등 '가정생활' 분야의 연계성 및 중복성 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the extent to which the contents of elementary and secondary curricula are connected and overlapped in the 'family life' area of Practical Arts(Technology & Home Economics) subjects. The procedure and results are as were like below. First, the types of criteria for analyzing curriculum contents are developed. The connectivity are classified as 'discontinuous hierarchy' and 'spiral hierarchy' and duplication are classified as 'repetition (high level of overlapping)', 'reproducing', 'deepening (intermediate level of overlapping)', 'substitution', and 'omission (low level of overlapping)'. Second, as a result of analyzing the contents of elementary and secondary curricula, the 'Human Development' area showed higher connectivity with a deepening type of duplication. The 'Safety' and the 'Lifelong Planning' concepts showed lower connectivity. Third, as a result of analyzing the achievement standards of the 2015 Curriculum, the secondary Home Economics curriculum showed a considerable increase in the level of difficulty and the volume compared to the elementary curriculum. There was low connectivity between the contents of elementary and secondary curricula in the core concepts 'Safety' and 'Lifelong Planning', an intermediate level of connectivity in 'Life Culture' and 'Management', and high connectivity in 'Development' and 'Relationship'. Also, there was a high level of duplication in the core concepts 'Safety' and 'Lifelong Planning', being classified as 'reproducing', 'substitution', and 'omission', analyzed to have low connectivity. When structuring the curriculum contents with a spiral hierarchy, one should connect the elementary and secondary school contents organically: the hierarchy with core concepts considering the different characters of constructuring knowledge in each school level, with a moderate volume, with a moderate difficulty level, with a moderate level of duplication of the contents, and with the minimum level of repetition of the same topics within the same school level.

  • The purpose in this study was to develope the concept maps of sub-units included in 'resource management and environment' area of Home Economics(HE) as an advance organizer after analyzing the overlapped and connected contents between HE textbooks and those of other subject matters(Ethics, Social Studies, Sciences, and Physical Education) taught in the middle schools. The results of this study were as follows. First, the unit of 'resource facilitation and environment' of HE is dealt in Ethics. Specifically the overlapped content in this unit between HE and Ethics is the content of the savings of resources, recycling, and environment conservation. The unit of 'work and time of youth' is dealt in Ethics and Science. The overlapped content of this unit is that of the concept of 'work'. While Ethics focuses on the general concept of work, Science focuses on the scientific concept of work. Home Economics doesn't focus on the concept of work but on how to manage the work. In the unit of the 'adolescents and their consumption', there are many overlapped contents among three subject matters, HE, Ethics and Social Studies. Second, the 7 concept maps were developed by following the steps: (1) confirming the learning objectives presented in the 'resource management and environment' area of HE; (2) identifying the overlapped and connected contents between HE and other subject matters(Eethics, Social Studies, Sciences, and Physical Education); (3) organizing the overlapped and connected contents between HE textbooks and those of other subject matters.

Eliminating Redundant Alarms of Buffer Overflow Analysis Using Context Refinements (분석 문맥 조절 기법을 이용한 버퍼 오버플로우 분석의 중복 경보 제거)

  • In order to reduce the efforts to inspect the reported alarms from a static buffer overflow analyzer, we present an effective method to filter out redundant alarms. In the static analysis, a sequence of multiple alarms are frequently found due to the same cause in the code. In such a case, it is sufficient and reasonable for programmers to examine the first alarm instead of the entire alarms in the same sequence. Based on this observation, we devise a buffer overflow analysis that filters out redundant alarms with our context refinement technique. Our experiment with several open source programs shows that our method reduces the reported alarms by 23% on average.

  • Esterel is an imperative synchronous language well-adapted to control-intensive systems. When an Esterel program is translated to a circuit, the synchronizer of a parallel statement may be executed more than once in a clock; the synchronizer is called schizophrenic. Existing compilers cure the problems of schizophrenic parallel synchronizers using logic duplications. This paper proposes the conditions under which a synchronizer causes no problem in circuits when it is executed more than once in a clock. In addition we design a detection algorithm based on those conditions. Our algorithm detects schizophrenic parallel synchronizers that have to be duplicated in Esterel source codes so that compilers can save the size of synthesized circuits

  • Odd network was introduced as one model of graph theory. In [1], it was introduced as a class of fault-tolerant multiprocessor networks and analyzed so many useful properties such as simple routing algorithms, maximal fault tolerance, node axsjoint path, etc. In this paper, we sauw a construction algorithm of edge-axsjoint spanning trees in Odd network $O_d$. Also, we prove that edge-disjoint spanning tree generated by our algorithm is optimal edge-disjoint spanning tree.

Non-Synonymously Redundant Encodings and Normalization in Genetic Algorithms (비유사 중복 인코딩을 사용하는 유전 알고리즘을 위한 정규화 연산)

  • Normalization transforms one parent genotype to be consistent with the other before crossover. In this paper, we explain how normalization alleviates the difficulties caused by non-synonymously redundant encodings in genetic algorithms. We define the encodings with maximally non-synonymous property and prove that the encodings induce uncorrelated search spaces. Extensive experiments for a number of problems show that normalization transforms the uncorrelated search spaces to correlated ones and leads to significant improvement in performance.

  • 우리나라는 과거부터 현재까지 미래 성장동력 육성을 목표로 정부주도하에 국가 R&D 투자를 점진적으로 늘려왔다. 그 결과, 최근에는 GDP 대비 연구개발비 비중이 세계 최고 수준에 이르렀다. 이렇게 연구개발 예산의 양적인 확대와 함께 연구개발 예산의 효율적 활용은 더욱 중요한 과학기술 분야의 정책적 이슈로 부각되고 있다. 연구개발 예산의 효율적인 집행을 위해서는 R&D 사업의 유사 중복성의 검토가 필수적이지만, 대부분의 유사 중복성 검토는 전문가의 직관적인 판단에 근거하여 이루어져왔다. 하지만, 전문가의 직관에만 의지한 판단은 때로는 불명확하거나 잘못된 결과를 가져올 수도 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 네트워크 분석을 통해 정부 R&D 사업의 유사 중복성을 체계적으로 검토하기 위한 데이터기반의 방법론을 제안하여 전문가의 직관에 의한 유사 중복성 검토를 보완할 수 있는 가능성을 모색하고자 한다. 먼저, 본 연구에서는 정부 R&D사업 유사영역의 전체적인 구조 및 형태와 국가과학기술연구회 소속 25개 정부출연연구기관 R&D사업의 유사영역의 전반적인 형태를 시각화하여 유사영역을 파악하고 직관적인 판단과 선택을 할 수 있는 의사결정 정보를 제공하는데 초점을 두었다. 이를 위해, NTIS의 2015년 데이터를 사용하여 과제 키워드 기반으로 동시단어출현 분석을 수행하였다. 본 분석을 통해 25개 기관의 세부적인 유사연구영역 형태를 제시하였으며, 국내의 과학기술정책적 또는 과학기술학적인 현상들을 시각화하였다. 그 결과, 국내 출연연 R&D사업이 기관별 고유영역이 확고히 보이는 Mode 1적인 형태와 사회경제적인 맥락과 필요 및 유망성을 따르고, 다학제적, 적용중심적이며 과제별로 다양한 과제수행기관들이 과제들을 동시에 수행하는 Mode 2적인 형태가 출연연의 R&D사업 내에 공존하고 있음을 확인하였다.

A Study of Method to Restore Deduplicated Files in Windows Server 2012 (윈도우 서버 2012에서 데이터 중복 제거 기능이 적용된 파일의 복원 방법에 관한 연구)

  • Deduplication is a function to effectively manage data and improve the efficiency of storage space. When the deduplication is applied to the system, it makes it possible to efficiently use the storage space by dividing the stored file into chunks and storing only unique chunk. However, the commercial digital forensic tool do not support the file system analysis, and the original file extracted by the tool can not be executed or opened. Therefore, in this paper, we analyze the process of generating chunks of data for a Windows Server 2012 system that can apply deduplication, and the structure of the resulting file(Chunk Storage). We also analyzed the case where chunks that are not covered in the previous study are compressed. Based on these results, we propose the method to collect deduplicated data and reconstruct the original file for digital forensic investigation.

The analysis of duplicated contents of 'Food and Nutrition unit' of Home Economics and other subject textbooks for the middle school students (중학교 가정교과와 타 교과 교과서의 '식생활 단원' 중복 내용 분석 - 2009 개정 교육과정에 따른 중학교 가정, 과학, 도덕, 체육, 보건교과서를 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze duplicated contents of 'Food and Nutrition unit' of Home Economics and other subject textbooks for the middle school students. In order to achieve the purpose, the textbooks of "Home Economics I II", "Science I II III", "Ethics I II", "Physical education", and "Health education" were analyzed. The results of the analyses were as follows. According to the analyses of the common contents with other subjects related to the 'Food and Nutrition unit' in the "Home Economics I II" textbooks for the middle school students under the 2009 revised curriculum, the high percentages of the common contents were found in "Science" curriculum and "Health education" curriculum, followed by "Physical education" and "Ethics". It was observed that the Home Economics curriculum provided not only the theoretical basis about the dietary issues that the youth faces but also a plan to address those issues, as "Home Economics" textbooks were focused on 'dietary problems of the youth', 'balanced diet', 'green diet', and 'Korean-style diet'. The "Science" curriculum focused on scientific theories and principles, as the "Physical Education"and the "Health education" focused on health. In contrast, it was revealed that the "Ethics" curriculum considered 'Koreans' identity' and 'environment'. Overall as for the strength of 'Food and Nutrition unit' of "Home Economics"compared to those of other subjects, comprehensive contents for dietary life had been dealt with according to the development of the adolescent in "Home Economics", while other subjects focused on specific contents or examples concerned with 'Food and Nutrition unit'. In this regard, the dietary education for the middle school students will be more effectively conducted by "Home Economics", as compared with other subjects.

A Study on Reducing Duplication Responses of Chatbot Based on Multiple Tables (다중 테이블을 활용한 챗봇의 중복 응답 감소 연구)

  • Various applications are widely developed for smartphones to meet customer's needs. In many companies, messenger's typed interactive systems have been studied for business marketing, advertising and promotion to provide useful services for the customers. Such interactive systems are usually called as "Chatbot". In Chatbot, duplicated responses from Chatbot could occur frequently, and these make one lose interest. In this paper, we define a case that the response of Chatbot is duplicated according to the user's input, and propose a method to reduce duplicated responses of Chatbot. In the proposed method, we try to reduce duplication responses through a new duplication avoidance algorithm by building multiple tables in a database and by making combinations of user's input and its response in each table. In our experiments, the proposed method shows that duplicated responses are reduced by an average of 70%, compared with the existing method.
