  • While the unemployment rate is rising rapidly due to recent economic recession at home and abroad, university students' reluctance to apply for jobs in Small and Medium Enterprises (SME's) causes instability in manpower supply and demand and social unrest. To provide insights for solving the problem, this study explores how beliefs and attitudes of university students influence their intention to apply for jobs in SME's using Theory of Planned Behavior proposed by Icek Ajzen. This study followed the 2-stage survey methodology suggested by Ajzen. In the first stage of pilot study, a small sample of university students was used to illicit readily accessible behavioral outcomes, normative referents, and control factors. In the second stage of main study, the standard questionnaire was designed and administered and data were collected and analysed using the PLS Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique. PLS-SEM was used instead of Covariance Based (CB)- SEM considering the exploratory nature of this study. In overall, the results showed that TPB is very effective in explaining and predicting the university student's intention to apply for jobs in SEM's. Gender turned out to be a significant moderator variable in the relations between intention and its influence factors. Student's scholastic performance showed a negative correlation with intention. More research efforts need to be exerted to better understand university student's job seeking behavior.

  • With widespread use of information technologies the importance of information security has been heightened. Security policies which deal with fundamental direction of information security are critical elements of information security management. Numerous studies have been conducted on users' intention to comply security policies. They were based on various theoretical foundations and the theory of planned behavior(TPB) was the most frequently used. This research employed one of the quantitatively synthesizing meta-analytic techniques called Two-Stage Structural Equation Modeling to investigate factors influencing information security policy compliance behavior based on TPB. Analysis results indicated that all three factors of TPB were significantly influencing the behavioral intention. Moreover, the overall fit indices of structural model exhibited satisfactory level.

In order to achieve the above purpose, this research conducted purposive sampling on the security guards who live in Seoul Gyeonggi region. Excluding unfaithful response and abnormal outlier, material of 187 persons was used for analysis. As the concrete analysis method, multiple regression analysis and logistic regression analysis to presume exploratory factory analysis(EFA), Polyserial Exploratory Factor Analysis(EFA), Polyserial correlation analysis, and causal relationship between each variable. The result can be summarized as follows. First, attachment, attitude subjective standard on behavior, perceived behavioral control appeared to positively influence affirmative(+) effect on health behavior continuance will. Second, attachment had no meaningful influence attitude toward behavior. Third, attachment had affirmative(+) influence on health behavior continuance will. • This study is a basic research to apply ESD linked to SDGs to pre-service teachers majoring in earth science education. The purpose of this study is to evaluate carbon literacy by analyzing the awareness, attitude and knowledge, subjective norms, and behavioral control of the carbon footprint internalized by pre-service teachers. Pre-service teachers recognize the carbon footprint as their responsibility, but are not willing to pay the cost and accept inconveniences of the actions to reduce carbon footprint. They also support actions to reduce carbon footprint, but do not demand the actions from others. While they have sufficient knowledge about carbon mitigation actions, their conception of causes and effects of global warming is unstable. Pre-service teachers will go out to school sites and teach millions of students about global warming. It is essential to educate these teachers on the economic cost and social responsibility of reducing their carbon footprints. It is also important to find ways to bridge the gap between their thought and action. It is hoped that this study on pre-service teachers' carbon literacy will lead to realizing ESD.

The date for this study was collected from August 25th to September 24th 2006 by structured questionaries, and were analyzed mean, standard deviations(SD), $x^2$-test, t-test and multiple Logistic regression using SPSS/WIN 12.0. The mean performance of the premarital examination was 28.4%. Thirty-five point five percent of unmarried women and 71.6 percent of married women had experience of heard premarital examination. The score of attitude toward premarital examination were that single women was 23.04 and married women was 22.55, respectively. The scores of behavioral control cognition between unmarried women and married women were statistically significant different. The predictor of premarital examination intention was necessity of premarital examination, and the predictors of examination compliance were experience of hearing examination and behavioral control cognition. Based on the results of this study, promoting recognition and behavioral control cognition by community healthcare organization and health professionals for empowering the premarital examination of women were needed.

  • This paper aims to identify determinants of entrepreneurial intentions among college students of a university in Daejeon. We have used a revised Entrepreneurial Intention Questionnaire including personal traits, demographic characteristics, the three factors of the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), motivations to startup and planned startup time, and entrepreneurial intentions. The analysis shows that there are strongly significant and positive relationships between the three TPB factors and entrepreneurial intentions of college students. In addition, students' motivations to create a firm such as independence and self-achievement have a positive and significant effect on their entrepreneurial intentions, while the students who want to start their business right after their graduation have significantly higher entrepreneurial intentions than those who want to create a firm after doing a salaried job. Furthermore, students whose parents have created or operated a firm have no significant difference from others, and parents' startup business type are significantly different from their sons and daughters' interested areas of business.

  • Due to the expandability of smartphone, the mobile application market is growing explosively. However, as happens in other digital contents markets, piracy of mobile applications is prevalent. This study investigated the effects of behavioral factors on smartphone application piracy. The research model consists of factors from the theory of planned behavior model - subjective norms, attitudes toward piracy and perceptions of behavioral control. In addition, perceived consequences, past behavior and habit was included. The past behavior of PC software piracy was a meaningful predictor of habit, and habit was found to influence significantly the smartphone piracy intention. The result also shows that perceived benefit had significant effect on attitude, but both perceived legal and technical risk were not significantly related to attitude. Implications for research and practice are discussed.

  • A.I. has being developed from the technology for Big data analysis to the technology like a human being. The sensing technology of IOT will make A.I. have the more delicate sense than human's five senses. The computer resource is going to be able to support A.I. by clouding networking technology wherever and whenever. Like this A.I. is getting developed as a golden boy of the latest technologies At the same time, many experts have the anxiety and bleak outlook about A.I. Most of dystopian images of the future come out when the contemplative view is lost or it is not possible to view the phenomena objectively. Or it is because of the absence of confidence and ability to convert from the visions of technology development to the subject visions of human will. This study is not about the mass dismissal, unemployment or the end of mankind by machinery according to the development of A.I. technology and service, but more about the occurrent issue like the personal information invasion in daily life. Also the ethical and institutional models are considered to develop A.I. industry protecting the personal information.
