현재 진행되고 있는 제7차 수학교육과정에서 고등학교의 통계부분은 많은 변화가 일어나고 있다. 이 시점에서 고등학교 의 통계영역에 대해 고찰 해보는 것은 의미 있는 일이라 사료된다. 여기에서는 제7차 수학교육과정에서의 고등학교 통계영역의 지도와 개선방안에 관한 교사의 의견조사 및 분석을 주제로 하여 먼저 제7차 교육과정의 주요내용에 대해 살펴보고 고등학교 통계부분의 제6차 교육과정과 제7차 교육과정을 비교 해 보면서 아울러 주요 외국의 고등학교 통계 교육과정에 대해 살펴보고 현재 진행중인 제7차 수학교육과정에서의 고등학교 통계부분에 대한 현직 수학과 교사들에 대한 설문조사를 통해 설문결과를 살펴보고 설문결과에 대한 분석 및 지도방향을 고찰해보고, 결론에서는 지금까지의 연구를 통해 현재 우리나라의 고등학교 통계교육에 대한 문제점과 개선점에 대한 본인의 의견을 서술하고자 한다.

우리나라 초$\cdot$중$\cdot$고등학교 확률 및 통계영역 교육은 1997년 교육인적자원부 교시로 제 7차 수학과 교육과정이 개정되어 현재 초$\cdot$중$\cdot$고등학교 현장에서 시행되고 있다. 교과서 전수 조사를 통하여 제 7차 수학과 교육과정에 따른 실용수학 및 수학 I 확률 및 통계단원을 분석하였다.

In Korea, mathematics education of 11-12 grade students has been taken according to the 7th national mathematics curriculum, which was renovated by the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development announcement in 1997. The education of probability and statistics has been carried out as a part of this curriculum. We analyze mathematics textbooks-Practical mathematics and Mathematics I- and compare the 7th national mathematics curriculum with the 6th national mathematics curriculum.

제7차 데이터베이스 표준화 전문위원회 회의가 지난달 2~3일 양일간에 걸쳐 개최되어 각위원회별로 단체표준초안(WD)과 전문위원회안(CD)을 검토하고, 현재 연구중인 연구과제에 대해 간략한 발표 및 토의가 있었다. 단체표준초안과 전문위원회안을 중심으로 제7차 데이터베이스 표준화 전문위원회 회의 내용을 게재한다.

해방 후 처음으로 1946년에 수학과 교수 요목이 발표되어 우리 나라 수학교육이 정식으로 시작되었다. 그런데 이 교수 요목은 해방전의 교수 요목의 내용과 대동소이한 것이었고, 교육여건의 변화와 더불어 수학교육이 정상적으로 이루어지지를 못했다. 6 ${\cdot}$25사변을 거치면서 작성된 제 1차 교육과정은 교수 요목의 난해한 내용에 지나치게 집착한 나머지, 제대로 된 교육과정이 되지 못했다. 따라서 이에 따른 수학교육은 성공을 거두지 못했다. 그리고 미국의 새 수학의 영향을 받은 제 3차 교육과정은 교사의 재교육 등 여러 가지 노력을 했음에도 불구하고 성공한 교육과정으로 인정되지 못하고 있다. 새 수학에 의한 상처가 20여 년의 세월을 거쳐 겨우 치유되려고 하는 이 마당에 또 제 7차 교육과정이라는 새로운 폭풍우가 우리 나라 수학교육에 불어 닥쳐왔다. 이것으로 인한 앞으로의 전망을 알아본다.

This study was to analyze the subject objectives of Middle school 7th grade Science textbooks based on the Korean 7th curriculum by using Klopfer’s taxonomic system and find out how much compatible they were with the requiring objectives of the curriculum. Particularly, this study makes educational objectives for textbooks coherent wit the requiring objectives of the curriculum, through the analysing the problems. The results are follows. The Middle school science educational objective of the 7th curriculum sets up almost of the objectives through all of the domains of the Klopfer’s taxonomy system, except the operational function (Category G.0), and emphasizes on emotionable domain (Category $H.0\~I.0$) more. However, comparing with an encouragement objective rate of NSTA, Middle school Science textbooks based on the 7th curriculum were published putting more importance in a cognitive domain, and the intention objective (Category I.0) was not mentioned.

EU는 세계에서 가장 큰 규모의 국제 공동연구개발 프로그램으로서 FP(Framework Programm(이하 FP)을 1050년대 이후로 추진하고 있다. 매년 6년 단위로 실행되고 있으며 현재 2011년에서 제 7차 2007년에서 2013년까지 프로그램이 추진되고 있다. 이는 향후 2014년부터 2020년까지 진행되는 제 8차 FP의 토대가 된다. 현재 우리나라 정부는 FP참여를 통한 EU권과의 국제기술협력을 위해서 적극적으로 지원정책을 펴고 있다. 이러한 정책은 특히 현재 이루어지고 있는 제 7차 FP에 대한 체계적인 분석이 필요하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 지금까지 이루어지지 않는 EU의 제 7차 FP의 참여현황을 구체적으로 EU회원국과 비 회원국들을 나누어서 살펴보는데 연구의 목적을 두도록 한다.

The seventh curriculum of mathematics which value much of the learners' participative activities became conspicuous by introducing a new system of ‘activities’ to the textbook in particular, Then I categorized and analyzed the ‘activities’ proposed in actual textbooks in the context of specific operative activities. The objective of this study is for understanding the features and trends of the activities proposed in textbooks.
