Effects of China Online Market Counterfeit Products Message on Purchase Intention (중국 온라인 시장에서 위조품에 관한 정보 제시 여부가 구매의도에 미치는 영향)

  • A counterfeit product is a product that pretends to be a genuine product by pretending to be false. It can also be called a counterfeit product. This study attempts to investigate how such illegal floods of counterfeit goods affect online shopping consumers. In addition, the accessibility of various product reviews on the internet is increasing, and the product reviews are divided into positive and negative reviews, affecting the information that the customer has already, and the influence of the information acceptance on the purchase intention depending on the product involvement Respectively. Therefore, the focus of this study was to examine whether the information presentation about counterfeit products affects consumers' purchase intention, review direction (positive / negative), and involvement (high / low) control the information about counterfeit products. Therefore, this study has shown that it provides a marketing strategy to increase the intention to purchase products and products in online companies and stores in a situation where information about counterfeits is exposed to online consumers in China market.

A study on the impact of consumers' psychological discomfort regarding eco-friendly products on their willingness to pay additional prices and the moderating effect of category involvement (친환경 제품에 대한 소비자의 심리적 불편함이 추가가격 지불 의향에 미치는 영향 및 제품군 관여의 조절효과 연구)

  • From the consumer's perspective, eco-friendly consumption is still a topic that can cause various psychological discomforts, and psychological discomfort can lower the intention to consume eco-friendly products through negative consumer psychological mechanisms. This study analyzed the influence of psychological discomfort regarding eco-friendly consumption on people's willingness to pay additional prices for eco-friendly products. In addition, we examined the moderating effect of consumers' involvement in the product family in this relationship. As a result of a statistical analysis based on consumer response data obtained from an online survey conducted with 407 American consumers, the level of people's psychological discomfort with eco-friendly consumption is directly related to their willingness to pay additional prices for eco-friendly products. Although it did not have a significant effect, it was confirmed that the influence of psychological discomfort on willingness to pay premium price was significantly different depending on the consumer's level of involvement.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest an effective marketing method for product advertising. With regards to this, 148 copies of survey data were collected from consumers, and the hypothesis of this study was verified using SPSS 25.0. The results revealed that (1) Human Brand attractiveness had a positive effect on Human Brand attachment among the products of low involvement. (2) The uniqueness and the intimacy of Human Brand had a positive effect on Human Brand attachment among the products of high involvement. Through this study, the effect of reliability, expertise, attractiveness, uniqueness, and intimacy among human brand characteristics on human brand attachment, human brand attitude, and product purchase intention was confirmed, and it was also possible to confirm the difference in influence on human brand characteristics and purchase intention according to the product characteristics involved. This study has expanded the research scope of Human Brand, which has been studied mainly by entertainers and entrepreneurs, to sports stars and through empirical analysis, it has tried to identify influencing factors to improve purchasing intent based on high and low-contention characteristics of advertising products.

  • The living standards of Chinese people are gradually rising, which has led more Chinese students to come to Korea for their academic career. In this respect, it seems significant to find out how clothing involvement affects brand attachment and brand loyalty of Chinese college students in Busan. In this study, we attempt to identify factors of clothing involvement that influence Chinese students' turn of mind towards brand attachment and brand loyalty. The results of our analysis are as follows: 1. Five factors of clothing involvement have been derived: fashion trend, favorable impression, planning, indifference and choice. For brand attachment, three factors of brand show-off, brand gravity and brand pride have been derived. 2. Factors of clothing involvement have positive effects on factors of brand attachment, and brand attachment also have significant effects on brand loyalty. 3. Clothing involvement significantly affects brand loyalty indirectly via brand attachment.

The Effects of Social Information on Recommendation Trust and Moderating Effect of Product Involvement (소셜정보가 추천신뢰에 미치는 영향과 제품관여도의 조절효과)

  • This study aims to identify which social information have significant influence on the improvement of recommendation trust and how these effects can be different according to the product involvement level. Based on the relevant literature reviews, this study posits four characteristics of recommendation trust, which are closeness, similarity, sincerity, and reputation, and established a research model for the relationship between social information and recommendation trust. And we found a moderating effect of product involvement on the relationship between social information and recommendation trust. 205 trust relationships(links) from 55 respondents of Google Docs. survey data have been collected and tested using multiple regression and hierarchical regression analysis. The results of our hypotheses testing are summarized as follows. Firstly, four social information characteristics of closeness, similarity, sincerity, and reputation have a significantly positive effect on recommendation trust. Secondly, a moderating effect of product involvement between recommendation trust and antecedents (e.g., closeness and reputation) of social information is significant. From the results, we provide theoretical and managerial implications, and suggestions for further research.

  • PPL(Product Placement) of visual media can change the purchasing behavior of College students. This study aimed to investigate the differences in consumer's conception about PPL among college students and to analyze the relationship between the PPL conception ant fashion innovation/fashion sensitivity of students, resulting into their real purchasing behavior. We surveyed to about 189 college students living near Seoul, with questionnaire about PPL conception, purchase of PPL clothing, satisfaction on PPL clothing, fashion innovation, opinion about PPL, PPL apparel brand to recall, etc. According to dichotomy of college students by fashion innovation, as higher fashion innovative they were, they paid more attention on PPL clothing while watching TV or movie, and they also could recall more PPL apparel brands, and they purchased more PPL clothing. While the students with low fashion innovation had references from the opinion of friends or around people when purchasing their clothing, the students with high fashion innovation did from fashion magazine or PPL clothing. The students who thought that PPL was important and effective on clothing purchasing behavior, answered that their preference to PPL bran4, to the company, and to the product had increased positively, but not to the actor/actress.

  • This Research focuses on the effect of location-based mobile advertisement considering both of product involvement and advertising expression. The product involvement is classified as high and low involvement and forms of text and picture advertising, which are commonly used in mobile advertising, are chose in this research. To verify the advertising effect for location-based mobile advertisement, advertising attitude, brand attitude, and purchase intention are assessed by conducting survey experiment, which is stimulated for the location-based mobile advertisement including product involvement and advertising expressions. The results presented in this research indicate that the low-involvement product shows lower advertising effect rather than high-involvement product, because consumers recognize the mobile advertisement with low-involvement. The Second finding is that the effect of picture mobile advertising is more effective than that of text mobile advertising and this result is consistent with previous researchers. Finally, the favorable effects for location-based mobile advertisement is more effective than that of non-location-based mobile advertisement, because location-based mobile advertising can cause the immediate response for consumer to react with given advertising.

  • Calligraphy has become popular in recent years. Designers use calligraphy to draw consumer visual attention and liking by delivering friendly and gentle images. This paper analyzes the effects of calligraphy on consumer response to advertisement design. Regression analyses show calligraphy has a positive effect on consumer visual attention and liking, particularly in sensible product/service. In low involvement product/service, however, calligraphy has a negative effect. These results imply that designers should be careful when they use calligraphy.

  • This research emphasized that the importance of green marketing activities elements such as green product, green price, green place, and green promotion. Moreover, it focused on verifying the effects of these four elements on purchase intention through environmental involvement. To verify this, an empirical analysis was conducted on Chinese consumers who have experienced or are considering purchasing a new energy vehicle. The research results are as follows. First, all four elements of green marketing activities improve environmental involvement. Second, environmental involvement was found to increase the level of purchase intention. Third, environmental involvement has a partial mediating effects in the relationship between the four elements of green marketing activities and purchase intention. Finally, the limitations of this study and future research directions were discussed.

A Study on the Effects of Product Involvement on the Purchase Decision Process of Online Shopping Malls (온라인 소비자 구매결정과정에서의 제품관여도 효과에 관한 연구)

  • This research is to investigate the effects of product involvement on the selection of online shopping malls. From the statistical analysis of 282 response data, it was found that consumers buying products with higher involvement tend to shop in a shopping mall with greater trust, which provide more information regarding their products and a wider variety of products. The other purpose of this research is to investigate factors of shopping malls which influence the buyer's purchase intention. The results of data analysis indicate that consumers are more likely to buy in a shopping mall with greater trust, with detailed product information, and with higher entertaining contents. The results of the study indicate that the shopping malls which give more detailed product information to their customers and establish greater trust will finally lead to a higher sales revenue because more expensive products will be sold.
