  • In this paper, the hydraulic model tests are conducted for the hydraulic characteristics at channel junctions. The experiments are examined through the variation of approaching angle, discharge in the upstream main channel and the discharge ratio between the main channel and the tributary. The experiments are conducted in the channel model having the length of 450cm, the widths of 40cm and 32cm. Four water tanks and pumps are installed in the experimental channel. The length of stagnation zone is increased by Increasing of approaching angle and the discharge in the upstream channel. The length of stagnation increase with the discharge ratio between the main channel and the tributary. However, the variation of the stagnation zone near the channel junctions is little at the same approaching angles and the discharge ratioes between the main channel and tributary. However, the variation of the stagnation zone near the channel junctions is little at the same approaching angles and the discharge ratioes between the main channel and tributary. Accelerating zone of the velocity is occurred in the middle of the channel in the small approaching angle. However, the influence zone of the accelerating velocity is increased by increasing the approaching angle.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between nursing work environment perception, career barriers and career identity of graduating grade nursing college students and factors affecting career identity. The data collection was conducted from June 3 to June 28, 2019 with 212 students in grade 4 of C University in S city. Career identity, $2.65{\pm}0.46$, $3.23{\pm}.57$, and $2.28{\pm}.77$, respectively. Career identity was positively correlated with nursing working environment(r=-.654, p<.001) and career barrier(r=.319, p<.001). The nursing work environment was negatively correlated with career barriers(r=-.216, p<.001). The variables that affect the sense of course are the career barrier(${\beta}=-.527$, p=.000), recognition of nursing work environment(${\beta}=.131$, p=.014), practice satisfaction(${\beta}=-.154$, p=.009), and this variable showed an explanatory power of 50.1% on career identity. Therefore, it is necessary to make efforts at the school to enhance awareness of nursing work environment and satisfaction in practice, improve clinical practice, and lower the career barrier through support and support from hospital and nursing managers.

  • This paper investigates the relationship between R&D professionals' career plateau and organizational commitment in which career plateau's sub-dimensions consist of structural and job-content plateau. Further, it aims to examine the moderating effect of age and creative behavior of R&D professionals on the relationship between career plateau and organizational commitment. Empirical data were collected from 418 R&D professionals who work for Government sponsored research institutions. The results showed that the relationship between structural plateau and organizational commitment is differently related depending on age level. That is, the negative relationship between structural plateau and organizational commitment is stronger for junior R&D professionals. Furthermore, the relationship between job-content plateau and organizational commitment is negatively related, and differs in the strength depending on the creative behavior level of R&D professionals. For one with stronger characteristics of creative behavior, job-content plateau is more negatively related to organizational commitment. Based on the results, some implications are suggested on the career plateau issues of R&D professionals who work for government sponsored research institutions. Finally, it is discussed on the limitations of this study and further research directions.

  • This study was descriptive research to identify the relationship between self-leadership, career decision-making self-efficacy and career identity of nursing students. The data of the study were collected from October 21 to October 31, 2019. The subjects of this study were 110 third and fourth grade nursing students. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS WIN 18.0 program. The score of self-leadership was 3.55, career decision-making self-efficacy 3.52, and career identity was 2.64. There was a significant positive correlation between career identity, self-leadership(r=.40, p<.001), and career decision-making self- efficacy(r=.65, p<.001). There was a significant positive correlation between self-leadership and career decision-making self-efficacy(r=.66, p<.001). The factors affecting the career identity were major of satisfaction and career decision-making self-efficacy(51.3%). Therefore, In order to improve the career identity of nursing students, it is necessary to develop various career guidance and programs to improve major satisfaction and career decision-making self-efficacy.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate relationship among major satisfaction, career identity, academic self-efficacy and career preparation behavior of nursing students. Methods: 210 nursing students participated. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA and pearson's correlation coefficients with IBM SPSS Statistics 21.0. Results: Mean score of major satisfaction, career identity, academic self-efficacy and career preparation behavior was 3.78, 2.67, 3.11 and 2.46 points. There was significant positive correlation among major satisfaction, academic self-efficacy and career preparation behavior. Conclusion: Based on the finding of this study, to improve career preparation behavior of nursing students, it needs to a systemic education system that improve major satisfaction and academic self-efficacy. In addition, it is necessary to identify the factors that affect career preparation behavior.

  • The objective of the study was to investigate the characteristics of heat transfer and flow in 2-dimensional impinging air jet system, in which trapezoid rods have been set up in front of impinging plate in order to increase heat transfer. Experiments were carried out first using without the rods to establish the baseline heat transfer performance. And this result compared with the experimentation with rods. When rods are installed in front of the impinging plate, the acceleration of the flow and the eddies due to the rods seem to contribute to the heat transfer enhancement. Heat transfer performance was best under the condition of C=1 n and as the pitch is 30 mm. In this case, maximum rate of heat transfer augmentation is about 1.62 times greater compared to that without trapezoid rods.

  • As a compressed water is rapidly expanded through a nozzle, two-phase flow of vapor and liquid is formed in the nozzle due to the flash evaporation. In the present study, critical flow of two-phase fluids is analysized using an Isentropic-Homogeneous-Equilibrium model and a Leung model. Calculation results show that the choke of the two-phase flow can be two different types of continuous and discontinuous chokings. For the stagnation pressure below 10 Mpa it is found that the continuous choking, which is similar to the choking phenomenon of single-phase gas flow, is possible only when the degree of subcooling is less than 10K.

  • Experiments on corresponding jet flames with stagnant point diffusion flames have been carried out in initial injection periods. A compensated measurement of maximum flame temperature, which is based on the ion signal, has been employed to inspect flame responses to time-varying strain rates. The flame responses are obtained at two conditions for the slowly time-varying strain rate and the case of flame extinction, and analyzed to confirm similarity between a stagnant point diffusion flame and an evolving jet diffusion flame. Nonsteady effects are addressed via the comparison between several time scales. The time variation with low strain rates, in which illustrates the flame behavior of the upper branch far from extinction in the well-known S-curve, is confirmed to produce a quasi-steady flame response through the nonsteady experiments. The time variation with strain rates in the case of flame extinction indicates an unsteady effect of flame response. It is therefore found that the flame responses near jet tip depend on time histories of characterized strain rates in the developing process.

  • The heterogeneous decomposition of ammonia on a quartz surface in an inverted, stagnation-point flow reactor was investigated using a measurement reactor and a numerical model of the reactor. In the experiments, 8 mole% of ammonia in nitrogen was used and the temperature of an electric heater was set in the range $300{\sim}900^{\circ}C$ to heat the quartz surface where the decomposition took place. Gas temperatures and ammonia concentrations in the reactor obtained using in situ Raman spectroscopy were analyzed with the numerical model and it was revealed that, depending on the heater temperature, the temperature of the quartz surface was estimated to be in the range $235{\sim}619^{\circ}C$ and the activation energy of the decomposition on the surface was in the range 10.9~15.8 kcal/mol.
