Changes in the high school informatics curriculum appearing in the document system of the general guidelines of the national curriculum (교육과정 총론의 문서 체제에 나타난 고등학교 정보과 교육과정의 변천)

  • Changes in education or curriculum are based on the needs of the times and needs to address changes in knowledge. The purpose of this study was to provide implications regarding the general guidelines of the national curriculum by analyzing changes made in the high school informatics curriculum in which both needs are inherent. The study involved an analysis of the general guidelines to the national curriculum that involved the revision years 2007 and 2009, the composition of the 2015 revised curriculum, change in the status of the informatics curriculum, and the size of the informatics subject. As a result of the analysis it was found that several improvements are necessary, namely (1) the units need to be better clarified, (2) career electives need to be more appropriately composed, and (3) definitions of terms need to be better clarified. The significance of this study lies in the fact that it considered the viewpoint of software education emphasized in various countries around the world, and the general guidelines to the national curriculum were examined to learn what kind of organization and operation should be proposed for high school informatics.

An Analysis of Education Programs for Spatial Information System (공간정보체계 인력양성을 위한 교육과정 분석)

  • NGIS project was carried out to accelerate Korea to an information-oriented land. NGIS Project also is to support training projects for GIS specialists as a sub-project. This program has two categories which are long-term courses and short-courses. The long-term courses are for people who want to get a job in SIS(Spatial Information System) field and also for public services personnel who want to acquire the latest SIS technology. Short-term courses are about the latest GIS component technology and utilization spatial data. In this paper, we analyze education programs and training courses relate to SIS. Also we suggest some directions to train specialists for the effective achievement of SIS project. To efficient education for SIS specialist, education programs have courses without repetition and courses are separated by technology type.

  • In this study, we study and analysis on e-Learning based Information Security curriculum. e-Learning based university education courses will be much more established in Korea based on advanced IT technology. Computer related majors such as 'Computer Science' and 'Software' can be easily combined with e-Learning system. And Advanced Information Security Expert (AISE) educational course must be broadly opened for satisfying national requirements. In this study, we analyze e-Learning course on Information Security major based on off-line curriculum and suggest new model for further research.

  • The purpose of this study is to establish the standard curriculum for informatics by reflecting the changing information technology and social needs and based on the competencies that school at each level must have. To accomplish the purpose, the informatics curriculums of 8 countries were analyzed, and the learning elements of the curriculum were extracted with the body of knowledge of the higher-level informatics standard curriculum being the frame. To establish the standard curriculum, 51 experts reviewed it and their opinions were collected 10 times. As a result of this study, the competencies that need to be fostered through the informatics curriculum were defined, and the competency-centered curriculum, including the learning elements required to acquire the competencies, and the competencies that can be manifested through the learning element, was proposed. The implication is that the informatics standard curriculum, proposed in this study, laid down the foundation for establishing the informatics curriculum scheduled to be revised in 2022.

  • 체계적인 교육과정의 부재로 인한 학교 현장의 파행적 운영과 컴퓨터를 타 교과의 효율적 학습을 위한 도구로만 인식하는 활용 위주의 컴퓨터 교육은 정보 소양을 등한시 하는 결과를 낳았다. 미국, 프랑스, 영국, 일본 등 교육 선진국은 활용을 위한 컴퓨터교육 뿐 아니라 체계적인 정보 소양 교육을 실시하고 있고 현재 많은 현장의 초등 교사들도 정보 소양 교육의 체계적인 교육 과정의 필요성을 느끼고 있으며 현장에서 초등학생들에게 쉽게 적용할 수 있는 컴퓨터 교육 내용을 원하고 있다. 정보화 사회에서 초등학생에 맞는 교육 내용의 구성은 컴퓨터의 바른 인식과 그 과정에서 얻어질 논리적인 사고력의 자연적 학습이 가능 할 것이며 정보화 시대의 요구에 부응하는 인간 형성에 기여 할 것이다. 그러므로 정보화 시대를 살아갈 우리 아동들에게 초등 컴퓨터 교육의 올바른 방향은 정보 소양 중심의 컴퓨터 교육 과정으로 체계적인 교육과정과 교과로서의 독립적인 운영과 초등 수준에 맞는 교육 내용의 구성이다.

  • In order to study on improvement of a composition of the computer education curriculum for the universities of education, we analyzed the operating situation of the computer education curriculums of the 10 universities across the country by dividing the curriculums into 3 types, such as a general education course, specialization course and advanced course. In addition, we did a survey on the information utilization abilities of the first year students of Jeonju National University of Education. The suggestions for designing effective computer education in the curriculum of the universities of education were proposed.

  • 1997년부터 시작된 1단계 교육정보화 종합계획에서부터 1999년 '교육 발전 5개년 계획'에 이르기까지 정보통신기술활용교육을 위한 물적 인프라 구축에 힘써왔다. 이렇게 정보통신기술교육을 위한 물적 인프라 구축이 완료되어 있다고 하는 시기에 중요하게 점검해보아야 하는 것이 바로 교육정보화의 내용, 즉 정보통신기술교육과정이다. 본 연구자는 국가표준의 학생ICT활용능력기준(ISSS)을 분석의 틀로 설정하여 현재 강원도에서 사용되어지고 있는 정보통신기술교육과정을 위한 인정도서의 내용이 ISSS에서 제안하고 있는 교육과정에 맞게 구성되어 있는지를 살펴본 후, ISSS에서 제안하고 있는 상세화된 교육과정을 충실히 운영해 나가기 위해 기본적으로 필요한 교재 및 교구 요소들을 추출하였다. 이를 바탕으로 단위 학교에서 이러한 교재 및 교구 기준 안이 필요한지와 구비되어 있는 수줄과 수요를 설문지를 통해 확인해 보고자 하였다. 이러한 연구는 이후 정보통신기술활용교육을 위한 교재 및 교구 기준을 마련하는 기초 연구가 될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

The result of This Study proposed that Computer Science Field, IT Field, Internet Field had to Include to Curriculum of Information management. In Addition, The Result of This Study is identified that Curriculum Determinant Factor is related to Composition Factor. Manpower Demand factor Department Associate Perception Factor are important to Curriculum Determinant. And IT Field, Computer Science Field are critical to curriculum of Information Management.

  • According to the 2015 revised curriculum, the software education was provided to elementary school education in Korea. In Korea, information education became a necessary education. However, in Korea elementary school, information education is still not operated as an independent subject. This study examines the information education curriculum and information education textbook contents at the national level of Korea and China. The implications of this study can help establish the direction of information education in Korea.
