  • 본 논문에서는 개방된 양 끝이 Loading 캐패시턴스로 연결된 새로운 행태의 1/2 파장 공진기를 이용해서 3단 대역통과 여파기를 설계, 제작하였다. 제안한 공진기의 전파지연효과(Slow-Wave Effect)때문에, 넓은 상향저지대역을 갖으며, 사이즈(Size)가 축소된 협대역 여파기 설계가 가능하다. 설계한 대역통과 여파기는 미세라인 구현이 가능한 후막 리소그라피 공정 기술을 이용하여 제작하였다.

  • In this paper, a frequency controlled bandwidth adjustable bandpass filter consisting of 4-path system is precented. It is shown that this system has characteristics similar to ihose of the magneticuly coupled double tuned amplifier and the center frequency of the passband is able to be shifted contineolisly. The adjustable range of the bartdwidth of the filter system is anslyzed for she case of the double and single tuned characteristics. The experiment has been conducted to verify the theory of this system and the experimental resulis are in good agreement with the theoretically calculated values.

  • A Micorstrip Bandpass Filter Using DBRs for WLAN ($2.3{\sim}2.4GHz$) applications is designed and an EBG structure is employed in the ground plane of the filter to suppress the stopband responses of the filter. The number of DBRs is chosen as two in consideration of low insertion loss and small size of two filter. The center frequency of the filter to be designed is 2.35GHz and its bandwidth is 140MHz. The responses of two kinds of DBR filters (one with EBG and the other without EBG) are calculated and compared with the measurements. The experimental results are in good agreement with the calculations: The bandwidth and insertion loss of the filter with EBG structure are 3.8% and 1.7dB respectively, while those of the filter without EBG structure are 7% and 1.23dB. It is shown that the insertion loss of the filter is increased and its bandwidth is deceased due to the EBG structure. Also the stopband responses of the filters with EBG structures are shown to be much improved compared with those without EBG.

  • A bandpass filter has been designed by employing the PBG structure and the aperture on the ground together in this paper. The harmonics of band pass filter have been suppressed by employing the PBG structure and the bandwidth of it has been broadened by using the aperture on the ground. The three kinds of PBG structures has been combined to suppress the harmonics of the filter The center frequency of filter is 2.2 GHz and the bandwidth has been increased from $40\%$ by the aperture and all harmonics were suppressed about 35dBc by the PBG. The insertion loss has been reduced 3.0dB to 2.6dB.

  • This paper describes a method for realizing RC active filters, by the use of the CGIC's In realizing the CGIC circuit, every element in the circuit is selected so as to minimize the effect of the non -ideal characteristic of operational amplifers, and an extra element is added to the, CGIC circuit to compensate the parasitic capacitances of the circuit. The CGIC s are utilized in the design of active filters using ladder embedding technique. The design procedure is presented in detail and the application is illustrated by the design of a band-pass filter of high order.

  • A compact embedded tapped-line combline filter with interdigital capacitors using low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) technology for wireless application is proposed. Also, in-situ measurement using T-pattern microstrip resonator was performed to acquire exact knowledge of electrical properties of the LTCC substrate. The proposed filter makes it possible to realize a relatively small size, 2.7mm${\times}$2.03mm. by employing interdigital and combline structure. It shows 1.8 ㏈ insertion loss, 37.6㏈ return loss, and 280 MHz bandwidth at the center frequency of 5.09 GHz. Its small size and simple structure make it a good candidate as an integrated filter for various LTCC substrates.

  • In this paper, we present a compact Ultra-Wideband band-pass later with notched band at fireless-LAN band using a band-pass and band-notch filter. The structure of our proposed band-pass filter is very simple, and the DGS(Defected Ground Structure) structure is used to get the low-pass filter characteristic, and an embedded open-stub structure is used to get the notched filter. Our proposed band-pass filter can be much smaller than a cascaded filter. As a result of measurement, the insertion loss is less than 0.7dB throughout the pass-band of $2.21GHz{\sim}10.92GHz$, the return loss is more than 17dB and the group delay maximum variation is 0.24ns and a notched band is at $5.3GHz{\sim}5.7GHz$.

  • We have designed and fabricated direct-and gap-coupled microstrip hairpin-comb filters by patterning double-sided YBCO films on a single 50-mm-diameter, 0.5-mm-thick $LaAlO_3$ wafer. Both filters have a center frequency at 1.773 GHz, 12 MHz bandwidth, 0.5 dB minimum insertion loss in the passband, and very strong out-of- band rejection. Due to two attenuation poles below and above the passband, the direct-coupled hairpin-comb filter showed a better skirt characteristic than the gapcoupled hairpin-comb filter which had only one attenuation pole below the passband.

  • A function relationship between the envlope rise time and Q v91ue of band pass filter is studied by using the time response to the step and sinusodal inputs. It is discovered that the above relationship is linear in the very low frequency band. The filter was constructed by the Analog computer so as to do the function of 2nd order RC active band pass.

  • In this paper, a method to control the speed of a dc motor using a phase locked loop circuit with a variable sequential filter is discussed. We improved the transient response time more than 15 percent compared to conventional system using a variable sequential filter and the steady state error was reduced to less than 0.05 percent per rotation axis.
