Analysis on the Current Status of the Fourth Industrial Revolution-Oriented Curriculum of the Computer and Software-Related Majors Based on the Standard Classification (표준분류에 기준한 컴퓨터 및 소프트웨어 관련 전공의 제4차 산업혁명중심 교육과정 운영 현황 분석)

  • This paper analyzed the curriculum of computer and software-related majors educating the core IT-related skills needed for the 4th Industrial Revolution. The analysis was conducted on 158 majors classified as applied software, computer science and computer engineering according to the standard classification of university education units by the Standard Classification Committee of the Korean Council of University Education. The current status of introduction of curricular divided into the fields of Internet of Things(IoT) & mobile, cloud & big data, artificial intelligence(AI), and information security was analyzed among the contents of education in the relevant departments. According to the analysis, an average of 81.6% of the majors for each group of curricular organized related subjects into the curriculum. The Curriculum Response Index for the 4th industrial revolution(CRI4th) by major, calculated by weighting track operations by education sector, averaged 27.5 point out of 100 point. And the IoT & mobile sector had the highest score of 42.3 points.

The influencing factors of Self-esteem and Major Satisfaction on College Adjustment among Nursing Students (간호대학생의 자아존중감, 전공만족도가 대학생활 적응에 미치는 영향)

  • The study was conducted to identify the influencing factor of self-esteem and major satisfaction on college adjustment among nursing students. The subjects consisted of 182 nursing students. Data were collected from November to December 2013 and analyzed using SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. The mean score of self-esteem (2.65), major satisfaction (3.43) and college adjustment (3.14) were above the average. Among demographic factors, grade-level, gender, club activities, and monthly income showed significant difference of the score of college adjustment. College adjustment was statistically significantly higher when self-esteem was higher, major satisfaction was higher. Based on the findings of this study, programs promoting major satisfaction and appropriate counseling and academic guidance for nursing students are needed for college nursing students in order to promote college adjustment.

A Study on General English Education for English Education Major (영어교육전공 대학생의 교양영어 교육에 대한 연구)

  • This study aims to suggest more efficient ways of teaching English more related to but distinct from major English, based on the needs and awareness of the students of English Education Department. For this, interviews and surveys have been carried out targeting some English Education majors. The results show that the satisfaction level of students is relatively low, marking around the score '3'. While the satisfaction level about classroom environment including the multi-media equipment, and professors' teaching ability, quality and methods is higher compared with other factors, the improvement of English skills and interest-causing levels are lower on average. Besides, this study also includes the surveys on the needs of students for various teaching programs, differentiated classes and qualified instructors. Based on the results, this study makes three suggestions as follows; (1) the opening of some specific English classes for English-education majors (2) the development of English-conversation classes related to English-education majors (3) the development of communication-centered English reading based on English literature.

A Study on the Awareness and Preparation of the Forth Industrial Revolution of Some Health Department College Students (일부 보건계열학과 대학생의 4차 산업혁명 인식 및 준비도 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to be used as basic data for the development of future-type curriculum in health. The awareness and preparation of the forth industrial revolution were surveyed on 280 college students in health departments preparing medical technicians. A self-written structured questionnaire was used for data collection, and the recognition of the forth industry revolution was 2.74, 3D printing (3.59) was high, and neural network machine learning(2.33) was the lowest. Students majoring in Physiotherapy (3.00) had the highest perception, and those majored in Dental engineering(2.37) had the lowest perception, and there was a difference in the degree of perception of IoT by major (p=0.024). For the forth industrial revolution, 54.5% of students are preparing, and lack of interest (42.9%) is the most difficult reason to prepare, and 50.6% of educational experience and 60.9% of VR&AR game experience have experience. In the era of the forth industrial revolution, job loss (38.7%) was high, and the required competency was creative capacity (50.6%). Therefore, it is necessary to develop a curriculum related to the fourth industrial revolution and apply teaching methods that can increase the awareness and preparation of health college students in the era of the fourth industrial revolution.

Directions to Improve Specialized Knowledges and Practical Abilities for Taekwondo Majoring University Students (태권도 전공 학생들의 태권도에 대한 전문지식과 전문 실기 능력 향상을 위한 개선 방향)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify contents of Taekwon and to improve specialized knowledges and practical abilities for Taekwondo majoring university students. The sample was categorized into college and student. The first round survey was divided into two parts in finding possible ways to improve practical abilities from students and school authority perspectives. The second round was conducted through survey by dividing respondents into students and school authority. The third round was performed to identify the nessessities and problems in relation to specialized knowledge and practical abilities such as sparring, poomsae, and demonstration. Based on the findings, three critical themes were identified: motivating them to accumulate specialized knowledge, providing opportunities to practice, and offering diverse job directions. Students indicated several critical themes such as recognition of job opportunities in different domains, endeavour to increase communication ability with others in different domains, reconsideration to learn things in different domains, and efforts to take an interests in life-time Taekwondo. The findings provide ideas in applying practical knowledge into the field and in changing students' perception in terms of Taekwondo majoring. They are specialized knowledge and practical ability improvement based upon college authority and students (15 college authority items, 9 student items).

Voice range differences in vowels by voice classification among male students of popular music vocals (대중가요 보컬 전공 남학생의 성종에 따른 모음 간 음역 차이)

  • This study was conducted on 27 male students majoring in or preparing for popular music vocals to determine whether they were aware of their voice classification and vocal range. Additionally, differences in the fundamental frequency and average speaking fundamental frequency were compared among the voice classifications. Moreover, considering that they may differ in their ability to produce high frequencies depending on the vowel, differences in voice ranges among the cardinal vowels, /a/, /i/, and /u/, were examined, and differences in voice ranges between vowels were compared by voice classification. The results showed that more than half of the male students majoring in or preparing for popular music vocals were not accurately aware of their voice types. In addition, statistically significant differences were found in the maximum fundamental frequency and frequency range among vowels, indicating differences in the voice range that can be produced depending on the vowel type. In particular, the voice range decreased in the following order: /a/>/u/>/i/. This suggests that while the vowel /a/ is easier to articulate in the high register compared to other vowels, vowels /u/ and /i/ as high vowels involve narrowing of the oral cavity due to the raised position of the tongue, accompanied by raising of the larynx, resulting in a decrease in voice range and difficulty in vocalizing in the high register.

  • The purpose of this investigation was to help university professors for making their systematic design of instruction easily and scientifically. To increase of learner's studying ability, the systemic instructional design is imperative. But most of university professors could not get proper experiences to know develop instructional design system, specially to develop web-based system. This new system made it possible to select the proper instructional methods and the media type suitable for the corresponding data. And also every professor who is involved to know this system, can put informations for the target learners, learning contents and learning objectives, and present the proper media types and the many different conditions in the process of the each instructional design process. Finally, the results of the learner's study will be effective and professors showed their positive opinions for the using of the system.

  • The purpose of this study is to measure the satisfaction level of user experience of athlesure brand community by generation through surveys, and to derive satisfaction level according to consumption taste by generation. As a tool for measuring brand community, a questionnaire written Creating Pleasurable Interfaces Model of Stephen P. Anderson was used and was conducted focusing on women in their 10s-40s, which are the main consumers. As a result of the survey, the community participation rate and satisfaction level are significantly different depending on the consumption tendency of each generation. In addition, focused on task satisfaction was high, but focused on experience satisfaction was relatively low. It was found that there is a need for a plan to improve satisfaction based on experience for revitalization of online and offline communities in the future. Through this study, we expect the use of consumer-centered brand communities and brand communities according to the satisfaction level of consumption demand by generation and consumption preference by demand.

  • 최근 기후변화로 인해 집중호우 및 돌발홍수의 증가로 침수피해가 빈번하게 발생하고 있다. 마찬가지로 해안지역의 피해 또한 증가하고 있으나, 해안지역의 특성을 고려한 연구가 미비한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서 해안지역의 특성을 고려해 폭풍해일로 인한 월파뿐만 아니라 강우도 고려하여 해안지역의 범람 양상을 확인하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서는 국내 해안지역에 대한 빈도별 폭풍해일과 강우로인한 범람 모의를 진행하였다. 우선, 수치해석 모형의 경계조건을 산정하기 위해 EurOtop(2018)의 경험식을 이용하여 월파량을 산정하였다. EurOtop의 월파량 산정 시 암석 옹벽이 아닌 콘크리트 옹벽으로된 경사식 단면으로 고려하여 계산하였고 산책로와 벽까지 고려하여 계산하였다. 경험식 계산을 위해 매개변수(유의파고, 여유고, 구조물의 조도계수, 구조물의 기울기 및 경사 등)를 조정하여 계산하였다. 이 중, 계산에 사용된 유의파고는 시나리오별 강우에 대해 SWAN(Simulating WAves Nearshore)으로 계산된 값을 활용하였고, 해안선을 두 부분으로 나누어 해안지역 각 지점별 파고값의 평균을 사용해 월파량 계산을 진행했다. 이때, 파고의 종류로 5% 확률의 파고, 평균 파고, 중앙값 파고, 95% 확률의 파고로 분류해 월파량 계산을 진행했고, 그 중, 평균 파고를 이용해 계산한 월파량을 수치해석 모델의 입력자료로 활용하였다. 시나리오별로 계산된 월파량만을 이용해 2차원 침수모형인 FLO-2D의 경계조건 입력값으로 사용하여 침수 양상을 표출하기 위해 Mapper와 ArcGIS를 이용하여 침수와 범람 양상을 확인하였다. 또, 다른 조건으로 시나리오별 계산된 월파량, 연구유역 해안 반대편에 위치한 산으로부터 유입되는 물의 양 그리고 해안지역 전체에 내리는 강우를 입력자료로 사용해 모의를 진행한 후 Mapper와 ArcGIS로 표출하여 침수 및 범람 양상을 확인하였다.
