  • In the past, in Korea, women often played the role of caring for their children, and women's participation in social activities was small. However, in recent years, more and more cases are entrusted to specialized institutions and teachers for infant education. These changes are positive in terms of gender equality and the enhancement of women's rights, but the burden on specialized institutions and teachers for infants and young children is increasing. The problems of abuse in early childhood education institutions that have recently appeared in Korea are emerging as a new social problem. This study attempted to understand which factors should be managed in order to be respected for the rights of children, and categorized the educational environment into psychological, work, and social factors to examine their influence and provide meaningful implications.

  • Recently, the average cost of education per child has increased compared to the annual birthrate, which has been decreasing, and the quality of education has also changed. In this paper, we aim to provide more efficient delivery for language learning using Unity's Buforia techniques. Using an application using a smartphone's camera based on Unity, it provides effective language development by inducing interest to learners through sound along with three-dimensional pictures. By providing such education, parents can gain satisfaction in providing high-quality education to their children. For children learning, smartphones have the effect of becoming educational elements, not just watching videos or playing games. Finally, by improving the quality of education, it gives satisfaction to parents and gives children who learn a language as well as the perception that smartphones serve as educational devices.

  • This study aims at exploring the transnational care for family members back home among the Nepalese marriage immigrant women in Korea on the bases of some transnational care practices like remittances, virtual intimacy through information and communication technologies, visit to Nepal, and invitation of family members to Korea. This study argues that in order to understand migrant women's care practices properly, Nepalese marriage immigrant women should be considered as 'being in-between' the societies and cultures of Nepal and Korea. This study identifies the characteristics of transnational care practices of Nepalese women are closely related to the role expectation for the eldest daughter as well as whether or not migrant women have children, jobs, and original family member in Korea. Furthermore, this study highlights that migrant women's transnational care practices should be considered as 'reciprocal exchange of cares' between marriage women and their family members rather than one-way benefits going to the latter.
