  • The purpose of this study based on descriptive research is to examine the influences on the self-regulated learning ability due to nursing students' achievement-goal and to make sure mediating effect of autonomous support of professor. A convenience sample of 294 nursing students were recruited from a college in C province from April to May, 2018. Data are analyzed using SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. As a result, it is turned out that there are positive correlation between mastery goal, performance approach goal, self-regulated learning ability and autonomous support of professor. In the Sobel test results, autonomous support of professor had a partial mediating effect between mastery goal and self-regulated learning ability(Z=3.922, p<.001). So, a new teaching method should be developed through the convergence of related factors of self - regulated learning ability.

  • This study was to examine the effectiveness of neurofeedback training by observing the pre and post brainwave measurement results of about 52 (experimental group 26. comparative group 26) subjects who have shown self regulation ability. The study took place at neuro-training center B, in between the months of Jan. 2008 and Dec. 2008. As the brainwaves are adjusted by timeseries linear analysis, the tool used to measure the self regulation ability was 5 Likert Scale questionnaire. The result confirmed the differences of both self regulation quotient, training protocol, upper deviation and questionnaire. The result of the study suggest prefrontal lobe neurofeedback technique's possibility in positively affecting the subjects' self regulation ability. This result suggested that follow-up researches should be figuring out more detailed explanations for journal of adolescent welfare.

To do so, The subject was composed of 146 3-, 4-, 5-year-old recruited from 5 child care centers in I city area And it utilized questionnaires to ask 146 mothers concerning Mother's Verbal Control and Young Children's Self-Regulation. The findings of this study were : First, the age and the gender of young children didn't affect the mother's verbal control. Second, the age of young children positively affected self decision and total self regulation total that is the subordinate area of self regulation. Third, use degree of mother's order and humanity verbal control divided high and low group up to the standard average value. As a result a low rank distribution of mother's verbal control positively affected. Forth, a result a low rank distribution of mother's verbal control positively affected self decision and behavior restrain and emotion and total self regulation total that is the subordinate area of self regulation.

  • This study aims to provide educational implications for more strategic online software education by the types of online learning according to learners' self-regulated learning characteristics in the online software education environment and examining the characteristics of each type. For this, variables related to self-regulated learning characteristic were extracted from the log data of 809 students participating in the online software learning program of K University, and then analyzed using hierarchical cluster analysis. Based on hierarchical cluster analysis learner clusters according to the characteristics of self-regulated learning were derived and the differences between learners' learning characteristics and learning results according to cluster types were examined. As a result, the types of self-regulated learning of online software learners were classified as 'high level self-regulated learning type (group 1)', 'medium level self-regulated learning type (group 2)', and 'low level self-regulated learning type (group 3)'. The achievement level was found to be highest in 'high-level self-regulated learning type (group 1)' and 'low-level self-regulated learning type (group 3)' was the lowest. Based on these results, the implications for effective online software education were suggested.

  • This study is a descriptive investigation study attempted to identify the factors influencing the self-regulated learning ability of the 4th grade students of the Department of Nursing who are preparing for the national nurse exam. Data were collected for two weeks from mid-November 2021 and 107 survey results were analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. As a result, ego-resilience (r=.376, p<.001), self-efficacy (r=.590, p<.001), self-esteem (r=.495, p<.001) was found to have a positive correlation with self-regulated learning ability, respectively. These factors significantly affected self-regulated learning ability(adj. R2=.411, F=25.684, p<.001). The results of this study can be used as basic data for developing programs and new teaching methods for nursing college students preparing for the national examination.

  • This study determined the effect of self-regulated learning on the attitude and related skills of information literacy in school library project learning. In addition, in-depth interview was administered in order to investigate fundamental reasons for such effects. The results are cognitive regulation ability, motivational regulation ability, behavioral regulation ability proved to have statistically significant effect on the attitude and related skills of information literacy. In-depth interview analysis yielded the following components: cooperative learning, experience in information environment, time pressure, exposure to information literacy education, motivation, relationship with school teachers, delayed gratification, and prior knowledge.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate relationships among scientific self-efficacy, achievement in science and cognitive self-regulation learning strategy. The subjects were composed of 158 elementary school students. Data of students' self-efficacy related to science and cognitive self-regulation learning strategy measured by questionnaire were analyzed. Science achievement scores were also collected. The results indicated that self-efficacy and cognitive self-regulation learning strategy predicted science scores. The findings showed that cognitive selfregulation learning strategy mediated the relation between self-efficacy and achievement in science. Memory learning strategy, considered a cognitive self-regulation learning strategy, did not mediate the relation between self-efficacy and science scores. The implications of science education to develop students' science achievement in the classroom and the suggestions for future researchers are discussed.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship among self-efficacy, motivation proposed by self-determination theory and academic achievement and to confirm the relative predictive power of motivation variables in predicting 480 middle/high students' achievement. The instruments used in this study were 'Self-efficacy' and 'Self - regulation' scale. The data were analyzed with Pearson correlations and multiple regression (stepwised) analysis. The correlations among self-efficacy, self-determination motivation and academic achievement were significant. The variables among self-determination were correlated to academic achievement in middle school. Among the variables of self-determination motivation, identified regulation, Integrated regulation and intrinsic regulation were positively related to academic achievement in high school but amotivation was negatively related to academic achievement. Self-control efficacy and self-confidence were the significance predictor of academic achievement in middle school. Hard-task preference and self-control efficacy were the significance predictor of academic achievement in high school students. Introjected-regulation was the best predictor of academic achievement in middle school. Identified-regulation was the best predictor of academic achievement in high school.

  • The purpose of this study based on descriptive research is to examine the convergent relationship of interpersonal competence, self-determination motivation and self-regulated learning ability in nursing students. Data collected from 251 nursing students at a university located in C province from June, 2018 to July, 2018 are analyzed using SPSS/WIN 21.0. As a result, there are positive correlation between interpersonal competence(r=.361, p<.001) and self-determination motivation(r=.466, p<.001) and self-regulated-learning-ability. Interpersonal competence and self-determination motivation have not meaningful relationship(r=.091, p=.148). It is turned out that interpersonal competence and self-determination motivation are influenced on the self-regulated learning ability respectively. Based on these results, research should be continued on the developing new educational methods through convergence of factors by analyzing relevant factors to enhance interpersonal competence and self-determination motivation that affect self-regulated learning ability.
