The Influential Factors on Nursing Students' Behavioral Intention of Recommended Immunizations for Health Care Personnel (간호대학생의 의료인 권장예방접종 의도에 영향을 미치는 요인)

  • The purpose of this study was to find the influential factors of nursing students' behavioral intention of Recommended Immunizations for Healthcare Personnel(RIHP). The survey was performed on 260 nursing students. Data were collected using a structured questionnaires and analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and hierarchical regression with SPSS 23.0 program. Results of this study revealed that the influential factors on the behavioral intention of RIHP were the cues to action, self-efficacy, perceived benefits and senior grade. And the explanation power of the regression model appeared as being 36.4%(F=13.35, p<.001). Based on the study findings, further development and application of specific programs to improve nursing students' intention of RIHP in consideration of grade, to emphasize benefits of immunization, are needed to prevent infection in clinical practice.

Effects of Individual Motivation on Turnover Intention among Social Workers : Focused on the mediation effects of multiple commitment (사회복지사의 개인적 동기가 이직의도에 미치는 영향 - 다중몰입의 매개효과를 중심으로 -)

  • This study set out to investigate the effects of individual motivation on turnover intention among social workers and examine their turnover intentions in details by focusing on the mediation effects of multiple commitment. To be specific, it aimed to propose and test a prediction model for social workers' turnover intentions based on the Self-determination Theory and Theory of Planned Behavior. For those purposes, a mail survey was taken among social workers working for use facilities, residential facilities, public health centers, social welfare foundations and associations, and all kinds of centers and institutions in 15 cities and provinces across the nation. Total 1,918 questionnaires were distributed, and 1,671 ones were returned, and 979 whose respondents expressed a turnover intention were used in final analysis. The analysis results indicate that psychological motivation of social workers had direct impacts on their turnover intention. However, their role stress had no direct impacts on their turnover intention, which suggests that the impulsive routes model for turnover intention is supported only in psychological motivation and job characteristics. Secondly, their psychological and job motivation turned out to have indirect impacts on turnover intention through the multiple commitment, which suggests that the reflective routes model for turnover intention is supported in all career, job, and organizational commitment. Career commitment had the most significant impacts on turnover intention, being followed by job commitment and organizational commitment in the order, which suggests that the social welfare academy should increase their interest in career commitment.   • This purpose of this study is to identify nursing college students' exercise self-schema and exercise behavior, and the factors affecting the adherence to In this study. Participantrs included 170 nursing students in J City from November 1 to November 30, 2018.. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficiention, and multiple regression by SPSS 21.0 program. The result of multiple regression indicates exercise behavior, influences of behavioral exercise self-schema, exercise participation intention, cognitive and emotional exercise self-schema, predict 63.8%(F=104.59, p<.001). Based on this study, in order to enhance nursing college students' exercise practice, it is believed that it is necessary to not only develop health-related curriculums that would allow nursing college students to appropriately develop and enhance their exercise self-schema, but also provide active government-level support required for operating diverse physical activity programs.

Influence of Clinical Nurses' Emotional Intelligence on their Career Commitment and Turnover Intention : Moderating Role of Career Commitment (간호사의 감성지능이 경력몰입과 이직의도에 미치는 영향: 경력몰입의 매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the emotional intelligence, career commitment, turnover intention for nurses and the mediating effect of career commitment on the relationship between emotional intelligence and turnover intention. Data were collected by questionnaires from 200 nurses in the hospitals from August 1 to August 30, 2010. Data were analyzed by Pearson's correlation coefficient and hierarchial regression procedures. The emotional intelligence and career commitment were significantly negative correlation with turnover intention. The emotional intelligence explained 13.9% of career commitment and 2.1% of turnover intention and career commitment explained 32.1% of turnover intention. And career commitment had a mediating effect on the relationship between emotional intelligence and turnover intention. To decrease turnover intention, nursing managers ought to develop the emotional intelligence and career commitment of nurses, reinforce as a mediating role between emotional intelligence and turnover intention. With the help of information technology.

Factors Influencing Users' Intension to Play Mobile Games: A Combination of Game-Contents Traits and Mobile Handset's Capabilities into the Technology Acceptance Model (게임 콘텐츠 특성과 단말기 요인을 고려한 모바일게임 사용의도의 영향요인에 관한 연구)

  • Mobile games have emerged as the most innovative entertainment technology adding new revenue streams, taking advantage of the potential of wireless consumer applications and service offerings. Mobile games, like any other types of computer game, offer a unique value for users in providing an exciting digital experience in virtual worlds. Players can become empowered through the development of new characters and strategies within games to achieve rewarding successes against the computers and other players. In this paper, we attempt to investigate the factors influencing the usage and acceptance of the mobile games in Korea, based on the extended version of the Technology Acceptance Model(TAM). Based on data collected from survey, we show that perceived usefulness is the major determinant for users to play mobile games. Two factors, including perceived enjoyment and self-expressiveness, are empirically shown to determine perceived usefulness. In addition, perceived ease of use, rewards, operational quality of device, and design/story have been showed to significantly and directly affect perceived enjoyment. It was also confirmed that self-efficacy and operational quality of device are the antecedents of perceived ease of use. Based upon the statistical results, some useful guidelines for game development and market penetration strategies are also provided.

  • The purpose of this study is to provide a more persuasive organ donation campaign based on the understanding of the public based on the personal characteristics and value factors of various age groups. The influence of personal characteristics and value factors (organ donation attitude, organ donation knowledge, self - efficacy, internal medicine, attitude toward discontinuation of life - saving treatment) on the intention of organ donation among 20s to 60s or older was examined. Demographic variables that were predicted to affect individual behavioral intentions such as gender, age, and religion were included. The value factors were also included attitudes toward life-sustaining treatment and afterlife view to identify potential factors. The results showed that attitude toward organ donation, knowledge of organ donation, self-efficacy, attitudes toward life-sustaining treatment had a significant positive effect on organ donation intention.

A Study on the Factors Affecting Customer's Intention to Use the Mobile Game Service (모바일 게임 이용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, the mobile game industry is explosively extending and advancing. Nevertheless, although research on IT acceptance has been actively performed, the effective studies have not been accomplished in the acceptance of mobile game. This study, therefore, explores the factors affecting customer's intention to use mobile game. Five external factors(service quality, social influence, instant connectivity, self-innovativeness, and self-efficacy) are proposed to test the several hypotheses. The factors are classified to three dimensions - system, individual, and society. The research model is based on various studies on TAM(Technology Acceptance Model) and mobile service. A survey of mobile game users collected 270 cases, and we used 261 cases for statistical analyses. The analyses show that service quality, instant connectivity, self-innovativeness, and self-efficacy have an indirect effect on the intention to use through perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. We provide the important factors that should be focused on when an enterprise develops and promotes new mobile game products.

Study on Repurchase Intention of RTP HMR Products : Focused on Meal kit (RTP(Ready to Prepare) 가정편의식(HMR) 제품의 재구매의도에 관한 연구 : 밀키드(Meal kit)를 중심으로)

  • With the increase of single households and more women entering society, changes to lifestyle, a demand for convenience, and the recent trend for homemade meals, the market for HMR(Home Meal Replacements) is rapidly growing. This study reviewed the repurchase intentions of consumers for RTP(Ready-to-Prepare) HMR products, namely meal kits, and the moderating effect. The study found that i) ease of use increases with higher self-efficacy; ii) ease of use decreases with higher personal innovativeness, but usefulness and repurchase intentions increased; iii) repurchase intentions increase with higher social influence; iv) trust decreases with higher convenience, but repurchase intentions increased; v) trust and repurchase intentions increase with higher economic efficiency; and vi) price sensitivity has a moderating effect between trust and repurchase intentions. The outcomes of this study will not only provide a theoretical basis for a more detailed study of HMR, but is anticipated to be used as fundamental data for suggesting a direction for marketing strategies for product development and sales.

  • As smart phone market has been rapidly saturated, wearable devices have been emerging as a new growth power in the post smart phone era. This study aims to comprehend the influential factors of purchasing intention of product features(perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use) and individual characteristics(innovation, fashion leadership, self-efficacy, concern for health) of wrist wearable device. The result shows that fashion leadership and health concern among consumers' individuality, and perceived usefulness and perceived usability among product features are proved to be significant factors. This means that both usefulness and usability have significant impacts on purchase intention of wearable device and product development should be made to enhance user experience.

  • Sophisticated business intelligent software and personalized web services help collecting and mining huge amounts of personal information. This increase in digitalized personal information and advances in Internet technologies poses new challenges to consumers' information privacy. Based on the identified concept of information privacy concerns (IPC), this study additionally explores the interrelationships among consumers' individual characteristics(self-efficacy, digital literacy, customer alienation), customer satisfaction and intention to buy in e-commerce process. Academically, this study extends IPC to an empirical research model by identifying the conceptualization and organization of IPC. Moreover, practically, e-commerce providers can develop how to relieve IPC of online consumers.
