In this study, the factors of the industrial complexes were analyzed in a comprehensive review, and the research model was developed and related variables were adopted to the purpose of this study. Also, the determinants of location are analyzed by three factors of infrastructure stabilization, industrial resource access, and residential neighborhood factors. For the analysis of this study, the hypothesis was analyzed through the path analysis of the SEM through the set hypotheses based on the research model. As a result of analysis, it is analyzed that TI factors and RA factors of infrastructure, IF group, are both influenced by industrial location. In addition, there is a statistically significant correlation in the analysis between the parameters of the NEF and the determinants of industrial location. The results of this study are expected to provide useful guidelines for industrial infrastructure development and industrial complex development projects at national and local government.

I devised this study for setting up the location marketing policy that was the most suitable to medium and small-sized enterprises. For this, I classified 3 factors and analyzed location environment levels of an enterprise. First factor is 'an assistance policy factor' which is composed of assistance policies of local governments and central-government. Second is 'an accumulation factor' which is composes of the same category of business or accumulation of an allied industry, the abundant selling market, innovative industry atmosphere, and accumulations of various innovative organs such as a college, a research organization. Third is 'a location base factor' which is composed of a desirable information communications net and accessibility on wide area traffic networks such as an airport, a railroad, an expressway. I also analyzed three location environment levels of business scale.

본 연구의 목적은 공공시설물이지만 기피시설물이기 때문에 상당한 갈등을 일으키고 있는 쓰레기 소각장 입지를 선정하는데 있어서 GIS를 기반으로 다기준평가기법을 활용하여 보다 객관적이고 과학적이면서도 유연적인 후보입지를 추출하려는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 다양한 입지요인들을 표준화한 후 각 요인들이 갖는 상대적 중요도를 반영하는 가중치를 산출하고 의사결정 규칙을 적용하여 적합도 수준에 따른 후보입자들을 추출하였다. 또한 민감도 분석을 통하여 각 평가기준들에 대해 상이한 가중치를 부여하고 의사결정 규칙방법을 달리 적용하였을 경우 후보입지들의 적합도 순위에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 파악하였다. 이러한 방법을 통해 분석된 결과는 의사결정자들이 입지를 결정하는데 필요한 정보를 활용될 수 있으며, 따라서 GIS를 기반으로 하는 다기준 평가기법은 공간적 의사결정 지원시스템으로서으 GIS기능을 증대시킨다고 볼 수 있다.

Plant location selection is a decision which requires huge investment and entails a significant impact in a longer-term. The petrochemical industry, in particular, is so capital- and technology-intensive that the firms in the industry pursue enhancing competitiveness through collaboration and integration among entities in their supply chains. Even though the logistics factor such as logistics costs and connectivity have, as a result, gained its importance in plant location decision making, this has rarely studies in empirical studies. Therefore, this study aims to examine the relative importance of the logistics factor in plant location decision making in the petrochemical industry using the multi-criteria decision-making approach. In addition the three representative petrochemical industrial complexes are evaluated by the factors used in this study. This study is able to provide the useful implication in both practical and policy-making aspects. Firms are required to consider the logistics factors with priority compared to other factors in plant location decision making. In addition, when federal or local governments build industrial sites and attract the petrochemical firm, logistics infrastructure should also be considered to provide better transportation connectivity and lower logistics costs in turn.

대형할인점의 출현은 비록 시장 경제의 원칙에 따른다고 하지만, 궁극적으로 도시의 토지이용과 도시 시설계획 그리고 시민의 일상생활의 편익에 많은 영향을 미치게 된다. 따라서 합리적인 토지이용계획과 도시시설계획을 수립하기 위해서는 대형할인점의 입지 특성을 고려하여 입지선정이 이루어져야 한다. 본 연구에서는 대형할인점의 최적 입지를 선정하고자, 영업면적이 $3000m^2$이상인 대형할인점에 대한 입지 요인을 토지이용, 도시시설 그리고 시민의 일상생활을 구성하는 물리적 요인의 관점에서 살펴보아 그 특성을 요약하여 도출하고자 한다. 그리고 이를 기반으로 GIS와 AHP를 통합 이용하여 정확하고, 효율적으로 최적입지를 선정하고자 한다.

Based on a case study of bank's Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) in Korea, this paper attempts to reveal dynamic changes occurring across the financial landscape with special emphasis on distribution pattern and location factors. Since the distribution of ATMs showed a concentrated pattern similar to that of bank branches, location quotients were examined to consider the effect of branches on ATM distribution. Furthermore, this study identified four factors that play pivotal roles in the location of ATMs. Compared to branch, location of ATM was more closely related to the population and demand factor, while the importance of local economy base and local economic power factor was reduced to some degree. This difference is attributable to the peculiar characteristic of the services offered by ATM. Lastly, demand factor turned out to be most influential in determining the ratio of ATMs to branches in each district, since lower deployment and operation costs allow ATMs to be more flexibly placed where demand for cash services is high.

When viewing that since the 1990s local governments have tried to build golf courses as a plan to revitalize the attraction of home and abroad tourists and to increase their tax incomes and that big companies are interested in leisure business including golf courses as a future promising business in the 21st century, golf courses seem to continuously increase in the future. On the contrary, noticing that golf courses are not only the main culprit behind the damage of natural environment and environmental pollution but also a target of real estate speculation and that golf makes a sense of incongruity between the classes of a society as a luxury sports, environment activists and local residents raise criticism to golf. Golf in our country shows a special sports phenomenon of which the pros and cons appear continuously. So, it is judged that policy for golf development direction should be set up based on verified scientific data. Thus, the research aims at deriving the location types of golf courses by looking at laws from the period of formation of the initial domestic golf courses to the recent period, grasping their distribution status according to time series and regions, conducting a questionnaire survey regarding location factors for golfers and the workers of golf courses, and dividing golf courses into several types. It is expected that the research will be a fundamental material when a golf course is built later on, contributing to the research of golf courses.

Recently, due to the increasing concern of environmental factors and low carbon usage, the use of natural gas has been inclining steadily. In order to meet the growing demand of natural gas, government have established strategies to secure the sufficient amount of gas that is mainly used by industries, power generation and residential use by constructing additional receiving terminals for Liquid Natural Gas (LNG). In the process of selecting the optimal site for the terminals, the characteristics of the terminals are not considered where the decision making is done through internal meetings or outsourcing. In respect to site selection, researches are done to derive the factors that are considered for optimal site selection. However, there have not yet been researches in creating a systematic model for analyzing the optimal site selection. To this aim, the paper aims to propose a model for site selection of LNG receiving terminals that considers the characteristics of the terminal construction. Total of 47 factors considered in site selection is derived through interviews with experts and analyzing the previous cases of site selection by various firms. Furthermore, the derived 47 factors are used for the survey for the previous LNG terminals in PT, IC, TY, SC and BR areas where the survey data is analyzed by factor analysis and multiple regression models to depict the optimal site. By applying the model for site selection, practitioners are able to make decisions for site selection in a systematic approach for new candidates of sites.

Recently, the changes of industrial location can be explained as the concentration of small and medium manufacturing firms or high technology industries by industrial restructuring in Seoul metropolitan area, and the dispersion of large companies'branch plant into the peripheral region in Korea. Particularly deindustrialization is progressing in the inner city and manufacturing firms disperse into the outer city in Seoul metropolitan area. This study reviews on the structural perspectives for the changing industrial location factors. The development of capitalism organizes economic spacial structures and Its characteristics can be reasons which can raise changes in industrial location. Korean economy rapidly grew in the movement process of international capital. And capital accumulation by continuous economic growth is raising the spatial division of labor or the spatial difference and inequality on land price, wages. the base of labor reproduction. Therefore, these factors are the most reasons to raise the changes of industrial location in Korea. Hereafter the study on these factors, that is, in relation to sociocultural structure and land use structure have to be progress more concretely.

Korea's film industry has been growing over the last 10 years, and there has been much attention to the antecedents of film box office sales both academic and business communities. So far, previous research which explained success factors of film or movie mainly focused on 3 stages, production, distribution and screening. However, these 3 steps are heavily vertically integrated in Korea's firm industry unlike United States. Almost 130% of movie theaters are multiplex chain and operated by film production companies such as CJ and Lotte Entertainment In this situation, film sales are likely to he affected by movie theaters own facilities or location factors rather than movie contents. Based. on resource-based view and S-C-P paradigm, the authors examined "whether movie theater's facilities factors and trade area factors such as accessibility, competitive situation, and population have effect to movie theater's sales revenues. The results showed that the average occupancy of theater is the most important factor to movie theaters sales in both large and small cities. In large cities, movie theater's facilities factors which included vibration seat special sound system, premium movie theater, VIP lounge are relatively important than trade area factors. In contrast, in small cities, location factors and accessibility are the most important factors to movie theaters sales. We discuss the managerial and theoretical implication for the results and the specific limitations are suggested at the end of the paper.
