Double Integration of Measured Acceleration Record using the Concept of Modified Wavelet Transform (수정된 웨이블릿 변환 개념을 이용한 계측 가속도 기록의 이중 적분법)

  • It is well known that the double integration of measured acceleration records is one of the most difficult signal processing, particularly in the measurements on civil engineering structures, The measured accelerations of civil engineering structures are usually non-stationary and contain non-gaussian low-frequency noises, which can be significant causes of numerical instabilities in double Integration, For the de-noising of this kind of signals, wavelet transform can be very effective because of its inherent processing features for non-stationary signals, In this paper, the de-noising algorithm for the double integration is proposed using the modified wavelet transform, which is extended version of ordinary wavelet transform to process non-gaussian and low-frequency noises, using the median filter concept, The example studies show that the integration can be improved by the proposed method.

  • A spectrophotorreter using two-beam type integrating sphere is developed, and the measurerrent accuracy is analyzed. The efficiency of the integrating sphere is analyzed, and the relation between the efficiency and the total measurerrent error is found. Especially, the integrating sphere is fabricated on the basis of its characteristics according to its shape such as the sample port. The perfonnance of the developed spectrophotorreter is tested using a black and a white standard reflectance plate, and the measurerrent error of $\pm0.5%$ is obtained.tained.

  • 선형 탄성 등방성 물체 내에 있는 일반적인 복합모드 크랙 문제들을 해석하기 위한 이중 경계적분방정식의 일반식과 계산해법이 제시되었다. 크랙면이 포함된 물체 해석에 있어서 유일한 해를 얻기 위하여, 한 면상의 점에는 변위 경계적분방정식이 적용되었고 마주하고 있는 상대면 상의 점에는 인력 경계적분방정식이 적용되었다. 인력 및 변위 경계적분방정식의 강특이해 및 초특이해 적분항들은 수치해법을 적용하기 전에 정상화되었다. 정상화과정 중 보정되는 강특이적분항이 상대 크랙면 상의 특이해 요소를 따라 직접 적분되는 것을 격리시키기 위하여, 특이해 적분 경로를 완만한 곡면으로 우회시킨 가상의 비특이해 보조경계로 대치하여 적분값을 계산하였다. 제시된 해법의 정확성과 효율성을 예시하기 위하여, 2차원 및 3차원 크랙 문제의 변형 후 모습과 응력강도계수 계산 결과를 보였다.

Improvement of Steady State Response Using PI+Double Integral Controller (비례적분+이중적분 제어기를 이용한 정상상태 응답 개선)

  • The performance characteristics of a dynamic control system are evaluated according to the transient and steady-state responses. The transient performance is the controllability of the output for the tracking of the reference or the ability to reduce or reject the effects of unwanted disturbances; alternatively, the steady-state performance is represented by the magnitude of the control error at the steady state. As the effects of the two performances on each other are reciprocal, a controller design that shows a zero steady-state error for the ramp input is uncommon because of the challenge regarding the achievement of an acceptable transient response. This paper proposes a PI+double-integral controller for the elimination of the steady-state error for the ramp input while a sound transient performance is maintained. The control-gain design procedure is described by the second-order response for the step input and the response of the error dynamics for the ramp input. The PI+double-integral controller is designed for the first-order transfer function that is derived from a system identification with the open-loop experiment data of the dc-motor. The simple structure of the proposed controller enables the adoption of a low-end microcontroller for the implementation of a real-time control. The experiment results show that the control performance is as effective as that of the simulation analysis for the operating point of linear system; furthermore, the PI+double-integral controller can be conveniently applied to the control system, which is desirable for the improvement of the steady-state error.

  • Most of studies on wave height algorithms that are using at buoys describe algorithms using double integral to determine the position data from the acceleration data measured from the accelerometer. but sometimes, it can involve some cumulative error in that process, and result in misjudgment or unstabe system. On the other hand, It is widely known that the motion of fluid particles on or underneath a linear progressive wave is periodic and elliptic. This fact is considered in this article and leads a improved algorithms with no integral processing.

  • 이 논문에서는 타원형의 크랙을 포함하는 유한한 두께을 가진 isotropic탄성체의 삼차원응력해석을 다루었다. 크랙은 평판의 면에 나란하고 그 중립면에 위치하며 일정한 인장력이 평판의 면에 작용하고 있다. 문제를 해석하기 위하여 이중 Fourier 적분변환을 사용하여 응력해석이 제 일종 Fredholm 적분 방정식의 해로 될 수 있음을 보였다. 두 극한의 경우 즉(i) 평판의 두께가 무한한 경우와 (ii) 타원이 원으로 reduce 되는 경우에 기존의 해와 일치됨을 보였다. 적분 방정식의 해 빛 응력해석은 제 이장에서 다루기로 한다.

  • A parallel integration approach is proposed for real-time simulation of controlled mechanical systems. The proposed approach, which employs the dual-rate integration method in a parallel computing environment, is developed to deal with stiffness and high frequency characteristics of the controlled mechanical systems effectively. Numerical experiments are performed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the approach in shared memory multiprocessors, Alliant FX/8 and Alliant FX/80.

The Expressions of Vector Gravity and Gravity Gradient Tensor due to an Elliptical Disk (타원판에 의한 벡터 중력 및 중력 변화율 텐서 반응식)

  • In this paper, the vector gravity and gravity gradient tensor of an elliptical disk are derived. The vector gravity of an elliptical disk is defined by differentiating the gravitational potential due to the elliptical disk expressed by a double integral with respect to each axial direction. The vector gravity defined by the double integral is then transformed into a line integral of a closed curve along the elliptical disk boundary using the complex Green's theorem. Finally, vector gravity due to the elliptical disk is derived by 1D parametric numerical integration along the elliptical disk boundary. The xz, yz, zz components of the gravity gradient tensor due to the elliptical disk are obtained by differentiating the vector gravity with respect to vertical direction. The xx, yy, xy components are derived by differentiating the horizontal components of the vector gravity in the form of a double integral with respect to horizontal directions and then using the complex Green's theorem.

  • The capacitance for three-dimensional (3D) VLSI interconnection line is calculated. Capacitance is obtained by solving integral equation that is the product of Green's function and surface charge density. Surface charge density is assumed that constant in each subarea, and subarea is devided by rectangular size in interconnetion surfaces. Up to date, so this integral method using Green's function is calculated by Fourier integral transformation, that it cannot help making an error. In this paper, it is proposed to use direct integration instead of Fourier integral method. And we proved accuracy of this paper in comparision with conventional results.
