  • This study is to discover the diverse issues related to Self-Directed Learning Screening (SDLS) and draw implications by analyzing its critical points. Using content analysis and interviews with admission officers, tentative issues were finalized and reviewed by researchers and educators. A Survey was developed based on the 96 issues after having evidence of content validity using the Delphi method. To conduct survey, e-mails were sent to admissions officers in twenty science specialized high schools. They were asked to response to questions about perceptions of critical issues and if there are any issues in their schools. Using mean scores of two factors based on its critical issues and frequencies, a two-dimensional classification table for each type was presented. Four critical issues for each type were discovered. The first type indicates minor issues that include 28 items that were less than the overall mean scores in terms of critical issues and its frequencies. The second type indicates tentative issues that include 29 items that were greater than the mean score in critical issues but less in its frequencies. The third type indicates general issues that include 17 items that were less than the mean score in critical issues but greater in its frequencies. The last type indicates critical issues that include 22 items that were greater than the mean scores in two factors. The discovered results of critical issues and its types in this study can be considered a core part of the screening process in schools, especially, critical issues should play an important role in the process of admission screening planning.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop evaluation indices for forest landscape classification. The indices were chosen to enable forest managers to establish effective landscape management strategies through three times of focus group interviews and email survey with experts. The 13 landscape evaluation indices were finally divided into four categories. They were ecological health (degree of green naturality, degree of ecological naturality, disease and insect damage, crown vitality), aesthetic visual quality (naturalness, harmony, diversity, traditionality, aesthetic appreciation, rarity), and sensitivity (level of tourism/recreational use), interruptions (damaged land, artificial structures). The five-level was suggested for the forest landscape classification system.

Total 17 questions were included in the questionnaire. Questions were broadly divided into two parts: first. operator's information. and second. the materials and methods used in Class II posterior composite restoration. The questionnaire was sent to dentists enrolled in Korean Dental Association via e-mail. Total 12,193 e-mails were distributed to dentists. 2,612 e-mails were opened, and 840 mails (32.2%) were received from respondents. • The survey method was used in this descriptive study. The purpose in this study was to investigate middle school home economics(HE) teachers' stages of concern, levels of use, and perception about career education, based on the Concerns Based Adoption Model(CBAM). Questionnaire was administrated to middle school HE teachers over the whole country except Jeju Island through mail or e-mail by systematic random sampling. 118 data collected from the responses were finally analyzed statistically with mean, standard deviation, frequencies, percentage, and independent-sample t-test by using SPSS/WIN 12.0 program. The results of the study were as follows: First, most-HE teachers were in stages of the personal concern (86.56) and the informational concern(85.42) about HE career education. Second, the highest number of teachers was in level of refinement(33.1%) use. Third, teachers recognized important goal of HE career education as 'understanding of diverse careers and formating of positive values and attitude about work'. Also they had generally conducted HE career education through 'Understanding Teenager' chapter of a first-year middle school. However they had struggled with difficulty such as lack of data, time, and expertise in conducting HE career education. Therefore, it is necessary that support such as development, supplies, and training opportunities of career education should be provided.

  • RPA (Robotic Process Automation) technology has recently been spotlighted to preemptively respond to the 4th industrial revolution without spending a lot of time and money to improve various existing business and IT processes. In this study, variables affecting intention to use RPA technology were representatively identified into three positive factors and three negative factors, and the causal relationship between the effects of these variables on actual RPA acceptance intention was examined. After conducting an email survey for general office workers, structural equation analysis (SEM) was performed using SPSS 27.0 and SmartPLS 3.3.5. The second order factor of a positive perception consisting of security, accuracy, and efficiency, and the second order factor of a negative perception consisting of job security, execution error, and fear of introduction failure. The positive perception affected the intention to use RPA through perceived usefulness and perceived ease. It was confirmed that the negative perception has a mediating effect on the intention to use RPA through acceptance conflict. In addition, it was confirmed that the presence or absence of experience in using RPA interacts with perceived ease and has a moderating effect on intention to use RPA. It can be said that there is practical and theoretical implications from the point of view of knowledge management in that it allows companies to recognize and respond to which factors are important from the point of view of companies that want to use RPA.

By conducting a national survey on the demands for generic counseling and professional non-MD generic counselor, we can make a long-term master plan to execute the educational program for professional genetic counselors and indeed promote genetic counseling in Korean health care service in a systemic manner. Methods : The survey has been conducted from September 3rd to October 4th of 2007 in a way of e-mail, telephone interview, fax, and direct contacts. It's targets were senior researchers and professors in medical and non-medical institutions, policy makers, research institutions or foundations. The survey questions consist of 16 questionnaires. Results : As a result of survey, 102 of 650 people responded. 80% of respondents indicated that genetic counseling is needed as a health care service and 34% among them considered it as "the most needed". In addition, 77% of the respondents showed that, it is necessary to have a professional non-MD genetic counselor with a master degree or higher in the field of medical genetics and among them 29% thought it as "the most necessary". A 77% of respondents considered that the cost of genetic counseling should be covered by health insurance and among them, 29% answered "strongly agreed". A 56% of respondents chose the answer of "They have a plan to hire the professional non-MD genetic counselor" in their institution, and among them 71% selected "within 5 years" in terms of when to hire. Also, they tend to expect the role of the professional non-MD genetic counselor to be not only "genetic counselor" (60%), but also "researcher" (42%), "educator" (18%) and "clinical laboratory coordinator" (19%). Conclusion : The 102 of 650 people responded to the survey.
